literally completely unrelated but GIRL this video could NOT COME at a better time!! I’m literally going to Seattle in 3 days so excited!! Thanks for aaaalllll the food recs girlie gonna eat so much 😍😍
I'm a new fan of yours and you're creating such positive, engaging and scrumptious content! Seattle looks beautiful and I love the cat cafe in the beginning! Excited to watch more!
the BEST boba in Seattle that I have ever tried is YOUNG TEA❤Their tapioca is chewy and slightly sweet and I love how you can actually taste the tea flavour because they use quality loose leaf tea, reasonably priced too 🤩
You went to lots of great places! I recommend getting a little bit out of the center next time. Lots of good places in West Seattle (Grillbird for a modern and delicious take on teriyaki, West of Chicago for up and coming pizza, Lady Jaye for Asian inspired bbq and (soon) baked goods. Also white center for Mexican food (La Fondita), Puffy Pandy (delicious cream puffs with Asian flavors), Patrick’s Bakery (Hawaiian cinnamon rolls, cakes, deli snacks) and further south for a lot of authentic Asian food.
Im heading to Seattle for the first time in a couple of days, Part 1 & 2 were so helpful in picking out places for my family to eat and experience! Thank you so much meimei!
Highly recommend Bai Tong Tukwila, we have also been to the Redmond location and they were good too. Get the crispy garlic chicken. Also, VK Viet Kitchen. Get their crispy crab rolls plate as an appetizer and share it with everyone!
Oooh it all looked so tasty and fun. Bird is like the perfect tourist when you pan to him waving lol, he could be on ads! Those hand pulled noodles looked so amaazing.
It took me a few attempts to get to The Flour Box, but I got there during the same donut rotation you were in! I left my house at 8am, got there an hour and 6 minutes before they opened and was already 10th in line. I loved chilling and sitting down and people watching. It was a lovely sunny morning and by the time they opened at 10 am, there was 100 people in line! They came out around 9:50 to get a count, because they only made 600 donuts that day. If everyone was ordering on average of 6 minutes, they were sold out at opening. I ordered all 4 flavors, 2 each and brought them home for lunch time. It was a crazy adventure, but I love trying desserts and baked goods. So glad you enjoyed our area! ❤️❤️❤️
This video has inspired me to go visit Seattle! My husband and I have been watching your vids since u were at 50k and I can’t believe uve reached 2M!! Congrats 🎉 We love watching your Disneyland vlogs and was wondering if you and bird can do a UNIVERSAL STUDIOS eats vlog?!?!?! ❤❤
Ooh, I’m awake for this one been slacking of late but shows I’m sleeping better ❤ More yumminess, thanks for sharing as always. Hope mom enjoyed her birthday. Lots of love ❤️
YAY so glad you had so much great food while you were here!! You'll have to try some places in Pioneer Square next time, like Ohsun Banchan and Damn the Weather. So good! Love your videos!!
I love that you make an effort to try locally owned places in Seattle! Love Boba Gem & Kedai Makan! You should try Reckless Noodle House next time you’re here! 😊
Awsome video! Love Seattle. Next time you have to try Gorditos in Greenwood. It's the house of the Baby burrito, It's huge. Maybe even for 2 people to share.
Omg you were in Seattle 1 week after I visited! When I went I loved Hot Cakes in Capitol Hill. Super yummy dessert spot with lava cakes and ice cream. Now I crave that all the time
Have you guys gone to Bobaup in Seattle? Nothing special when it comes to flavor or anything but you get to customize and create your own boba drink! You put everything in it yourself and it’s kind of fun!
You have to come back for the best food of all time: Marination. It's in South Lake union on 6th. The food is hawaiian/Korean fusion. Standout dishes: kalua pork tacos and kimchi fried rice. Life changing.
Watched a couple videos of yours lately and as a Seattle resident, I really love how you make your videos. I love the editing style and i love how honest and fast your reviews are. You’re quick to the point and I love your personality ❤😊
Glad you visited Lower Queen Anne! Our area is underrated :D We really like GoldinBlack for Korean; Paju is the fancier option but GoldinBlack is so comforting and delicious. Next time you're back you should also go to Sisters and Brothers, Nielsen's Pastries, Tyger Tyger, and Sal Y Limon
I've been so excited for this video! If I recall correctly, paju is/was the flourbox team's favorite restaurant so I've always been curious about it but refuse to go because it's too expensive lol. Happy I can live through you. I tried that flourbox menu as well, and the vanilla flavor was insanely good!
Happy to see you enjoy my hometown, you hit up a lot of my favorites in this video- Kedai Makan, Xi'an Noodles, Un Bien, Fremont Bowl! Other suggestions are Reckless Noodle, Temple Pastries, The Chicken Supply, & Communion. 🎉
i love watching food vloggers. My two favorite are Strictly Dumpling and Mark Weins. I somehow discovered your channel and have to say its one of my new faves. The music is always bumpin, your facial expressions are on point, and you always sound like a pro food vlogger! So anyway keep up the great work! I live in Oregon so of course the Seattle series was my favorite along with the Costco stuff!
As a korean we do have different rice cake cuts. The oval ones and the thicker long ones. They are both used for tthokboki. The thicker and longer is more common for the spicy dish
Need to try Hood famous in Chinatown seattle! Great new school filipino with tons of ube items like iced ube latte and ube bread. Then there’s awesome filipino dishes like arroz caldo which is rice pudding which is a nostalgia trip for me
When you get back to Seattle Crumble & Flake is hands down the best French pastry shop in Seattle. You did say kouign-amann correctly. Crumble & Flake has the best Kouigns that I've ever had. They have caneles which are fascinating pastry. Outside is crunchy & caramalized while the inside is custardy - but it's all one batter that makes if that way. Their croissants are the most perfect I've had state-side. Cheddar & Smoke Paprika which they also use as twice baked ham. It's fantastic. Everything I tried has been fantastic.
You are sooo amazing and i love your videos and i have been watching for a long time. I appreciate all the hard work you put in for us Also the food looks delectable ❤❤❤❤❤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
There is a really good sandwich place in Pike place market. I can't remember the name but you sit at a bar to eat. I was born in Seattle but I live in Minnesota. I really miss it. 😭
If you come again you have to go to ONO Poke in Edmonds! Is about 25 minutes outside of Seattle but Edmonds is such a cute little beach town and it has sooo much good food! You could go and get ONO Poke for lunch and then go into town, stop at the Walnut or Il Viale for coffee, and then has dinner at Salt & Iron (They have an amazing shareable seafood stew), Market (with delicious seafood), or Calypso (a Caribbean restaurant)! We also have a Molly moons where you can finish your night of course!
If you come back, there's a Thai restaurant in the Northgate area of Seattle called "Chaiyo", that is really to die for! I live in Renton now, and I still drive there! But be advised, if you order 2 stars, you will get 2 honest stars.
@@poetickat7994check out kenji lopez’ series where he’s reviewing ALL 80+ teriyaki joints in Seattle. They’re basically all good but some slightly edge out some others. I lived there for 35 years and never had either bad OR incredible teriyaki. It all lives in the 7-9/10 range. All of it lol
I move around a ton and can usually sniff out the local favorite cuisines. We moved here about a month ago and in one day my husband and I were like “why are there so many teriyaki places?!?” I agree, I wish people would pay attention to stuff like this! It’s not hard to notice. Kinda bummed this video even included beechers and just basic stuff every tourist would go to already!
Our friends just left yesterday after visiting us here and in a week, we were able to take to them to most of the restaurants we love. Bai Tong (Tukwila), VK Viet Kitchen, Salty Blue, Wally's Chowder House, Ceviche and Asadero, Olympia Oyster House, East Indian Grill....

Yes! Expensive but you don't get lots of that milk tea powder flavor.

It’s so weird how everyone stopping through the PNW always misses the teriyaki chicken. That’s like the regional dish and no one else ever notices.
right?!?!
Yeah they don’t know real natives to show them all the teriyaki spots but I’ve noticed that too
Can you recommend one? I’m coming in April!
