Every time I open my Mac I receive notifications in the top right corner saying I have malware. Is there a way to stop that and how can I truly indentify applications that are malicious in the activity monitor section.

To stop the malware notifications on your Mac:
      Identify and Remove Malicious Software:
Open Activity Monitor and look for suspicious processes (e.g., those consuming high CPU without reason or with unfamiliar names).
Use a trusted antivirus tool to scan your Mac for malware.
      Disable Notifications:
Go to System Preferences > Notifications, and find the app sending the alerts. Turn off its notifications.
      Check Login Items:
Go to System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items and remove any suspicious apps from the list.
This should help stop the notifications and i

Does malware and viruses get transferred from old Mac book pro (2017) to new Mac book pro?

There are no known viruses, i.e. self propagating, for Macs. There are, however, adware and malware which require the user to install although unwittingly most of the time thru sneaky links, etc.
Anti Virus developers try to group all types as viruses into their ad campaigns of fear. They do a poor job of the detecting and isolating the adware and malware. Since there are no viruses these apps use up a lot of system resources searching for what is non-existent and adversely affect system and app performance.
There is one app, Malwarebytes, which was developed by a long time contributor to these forums and a highly respected member of the computer security community, that is desshoigned solely to seek out adware and known malware and remove it. The free version is more than adequate for most users.

Everytime I start up my Mac I’m finding in my iCloud folder about 150 folders labeled with different 2 letter words or 2 numbers and I delete them in trash and they pop back up what do you think it is or what do you recommend I do

Hey Fernando. Thank you for your comment.
Here are a few steps you could try to resolve this:
      Check iCloud Sync Settings:
Open System Preferences on your Mac.
Click on "Apple ID" and then select "iCloud."
Review the settings under iCloud Drive. Ensure that only necessary folders are selected for syncing. You can uncheck unnecessary folders to see if it resolves the issue.
      Disable and Re-enable iCloud Drive:
Go to System Preferences > Apple ID > iCloud.
Uncheck "iCloud Drive" to turn it off. This will prompt a confirmation message asking if you want to keep a copy of your iCloud Drive data on your Mac. Choose "Keep a Copy."
After turning off iCloud Drive, restart your Mac.
Go back to System Preferences > Apple ID > iCloud and re-enable iCloud Drive.
      Check iCloud.com:
Log in to iCloud.com from a web browser on another device.
Navigate to iCloud Drive and check if the same folders are present there. If they are, try deleting them from iCloud.com and see if they reappear on your Mac.
      Clear iCloud Cache:
Sometimes, clearing the iCloud cache can resolve syncing issues. This requires using the Terminal app.
Open Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal).
Type the following command and press Enter:
      killall bird
This command restarts the iCloud process. Check if the folders stop reappearing after doing this.
      Check for macOS Updates:
Ensure your macOS is up to date. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements related to iCloud and syncing.
