So today, for a moment, I thought I was in the paddock at the Nürburgring or another major racetrack in the world, at the "meeting of the generations".... 🏁🏆 I don't understand too much about F1 but somehow I had the hissing and howling of the powerful engines in my ears.... An impressive collection of racing legends from all eras. With such a wealth of racing cars it's impossible for me to focus on one particular model, they are all great. (By the way... Is there actually anything you don't collect? 😜 In any case, it explains the name of your channel "Ultimate Die-cast"👍🏼😎) So would say... The only time I was really into F1 was back in 79/80 when Alan Jone's won the championship driving for Williams.I think most of Australia got behind him, that year. Interesting to see his 1977 car in this collection....a special year for me; the year two of my favourite all time movies were released in Australia; Star Wars & Close Encounters Of The 3rd Kind ! It's starting to get "creepy" for me.... Is there anything that you and I don't have in common...? We have the same sense of humour, we both collect die-cast models and apparently we also like the same movies...(I'm an avowed Han Solo and Chewy fan🙄😜 and in the morning, my missus says, I sound like Darth Vader every now and then 🤣). I too have been a life long mbox collector and have started back up in earnest since discovering your channel. I build 1/24 plastic as well but this video, while different, blew me like a history of f_1 ! Particularly fascinating are those wide multi wing jobs lie the peterson stp car and James hunt's first white car. Thank you for all you do; sorry for being so windy.
