Great video, I enjoy the stories that go along with the cars.

Sunday morning here at the North Sea and... It's raining (not untypical🙄😁).
But then the sun comes through....
A Mug of coffee, veggie toast and...
    die-cast😎👍🏼
A little "trip around the world" (or a little "time travel"...🤔)
2:11 Moskvich (Moskovich, Moskvitch, there are all three spellings).
I was in Leipzig several times in the 70s and still know the cars personally. Not dissimilar to the Fiats of the time. Some people say the cars are ugly, I always liked the shape. Cool thing 😁👍🏼
    (4:10) Fiat
    Now you got me 🤣
I live in Germany (or West Germany as it was called back then) but I've never heard of the MINIMOD brand...😜
The model reminds me of Lesney's MoY but.... like I said... is completely unknown to me. (Someone again say you can't learn anything on the internet. It even works on Sunday mornings🤣👍🏼)
Certain similarities to the Ford model T are there....
    (6:20) Delage D8 (120?)
I saw the original in a museum at some point, the model.... Today for the first time. 👍🏼😎 Cool thing...
    (7:15) Renault
I almost thought this was a HORCH.
(One of the four companies that later became AUDI).
    Grey with black chassis....
    Looks very classy...JOU 😎👍🏼
    (8:12) Cadillac
One of the first upper class cars and somehow timelessly beautiful. 👍🏼
    (9:28) Renault 40CV
This front end shape was the first attempt at aerodynamics.
France was decades ahead of the times.
It might not look very pretty today, but it was the first step towards the streamlined design of our days. Still, cool 😎
    (9:58) Cit 15CV "Traction Avant"
    The legendary "gangster car"...
I don't know if this is factual or an invention of the film industry. In any case, the 15CV was the first car with front-wheel drive and had excellent road holding.
My personal favourite of this show. The car is and remains cult. 😎
    (11:35) Alfa Sud
    (We pronounce it "sood" here).
A beautiful sleek sports coupe of the 70s. Unfortunately the cars had a bad reputation, because of their rust problems.
My Missus drove one herself and can confirm it. It's a shame though, the cars just look JOU.
A great show, T, I'm thrilled. Definitely a thumbs up from me for this 👍🏼.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Have a bonza weekend to you, your missus and your sofa tigers and stay safe and sound.
Keep up the good work, mate 😁
Greetings from the DCcoB, up there at the other end of the rock....
    😎👍🏼🇦🇺✌🏼🇩🇪👍🏼🤠

The Alfa Sud was extremely uncommon in New Zealand but it was my only fun for a few years so I forgave it for being a bit of a death trap. 😂😂

That made in USSR casting was really cool, some very interesting history there! My mom had an Alfa Sud at one point, I was a bit young to appreciate it, but I remember the fact it had to seat belts in the back 😅 Amazing what we accepted as normal

Safety wasn’t a big deal back then…it’s amazing that we survived the 70s and 80s. 😂

This Soviet-era Moskvitch car was made in the Moscow car plant until the end of the nineties. This plant was then purchased by Renault to build Renault cars for the Russian market. Further to the war in Ukraine Renault abandoned the Russian market and donated the plant to Russian entrepreneurs. The Lada is a different car. Was the Russian-made Fiat 124.
