hi Andrew from Australia. i mainly fish for murray cod and barra(barramundi). i make my own chatterbaits all without skirts. i use a 12/0 1oz with a 7" zman diezel paddle tail and a 12/0 1/2oz with a 5" zman diezel paddle tail especially in the spring n summer, all weedless. for winter i take the chatterbait away and use the same zmans, hook size, weights and weedless because now i want the slower silent approach. different parts of the world and completely different fish but same methods can apply.

Love the tips. . When I'm around shad I like a all white vibrating jig with a white structure bug. I rig it vertically and I trim off as much as I can of the side of the structure bug that is facing up. That way they can get the hook a little better. I also sharpie the blade black abd put black lines in the head. Off colored or dirty water it's a killer
