The reason why people like me charge over 1200, 1500 a set, is because we don't use bottom of the barrel LED and supplies. And we use LEDs that you can actually see in the daytime. A blueghozt controller alone costs more than all your materials that you used in this light setup.

How can you get the strip to default to white without having to connect to the box and turn it on white manually? Like on a newer car when you turn it on the drl's stay white. I don't want to have to turn it on and connect everytime I drive to set them to white. Thanks!!

You can't compare what you did with what they make. You just controller it with your remote. What they do is integrated into your car. Into your turn signals and brake. I'm trying to fish mine and doing it like they do is hard. Just throwing 2nstrips in there anyone can do but try wiring 20/20 led that have 2 colora on them and wire them switchback amd sequential at the same time when you're using your turn signal. Not hitting your lights are cool but you bought them like that. Wire up some sequential into your oem turn signal then you can talk about you saved 1500.
i think instead of buying brand new headlights to mod, buy brand new headlights but do the mod to the factory headlights or whatever ones you had before

Dont forget you get what you pay for... for quality stuff, you will cost you. Fact... you are also paying for labor which takes hours to do. Custom software, custom boards, and the knowledge to do so. Good work tho
false, I am using the same led company that most of these headlight companies do, all it takes is a few days of research and looking around to figure that out the big factory in price on these type of headlights is just labor. cut the middle man do it your self save a lot of money

There are 2 routes you can go and I'm gonna use the ghotz module instead of a preprogrammed module and anything from amazon. Keep doing what you're doing bro

Yes you only need 1 although I'd recommend 2 to prevent voltage drop 1 for each headlight

1 problem you will face using ws2812b leds is they hate heat and the inside of headlights get hot and the leds stop working after a few months

the controller is 5V~24V so it should work from 5 to 24V why u used the Power converter....? it will work on 12V too !!

Go full retail then, no need to try and economize if you can make the nut. 2K is a little steep for a lot of folks though.
