Thanks Pete, another enjoyable video. One of the reasons I love match fishing is how we have to react to the different conditions we face on the day (and have no choice but to fish in them) - when we had our Teams of Five match there in early October the whiting were crawling up the beach!
Another enjoyable video Pete, Craig buy is a cracking bloke to fish next to a real gentleman who will help anyone out, looking forward to your next one
Great video - at least the weather continues to make things comfortable! The flounders found their way over to us here in West Wales. I had one at 38cm which was the joint third biggest on our club match.
Great vid again mate. I had an absolute shocker. I thought my casting had improved some. Despite whacking it out as far as I could I still couldn’t reach them. I was a mere spectator towards the end. Ironically we were neck and neck up until 1pm then they just went out of sight. As always the laughs and company make up for the bad performance 😊😊
Knowing what these guys do on grass , I would say the fish were being caught at about 160 metres plus . I would say I was 40 yards short when I went out but the fish I did catch were 80 yards at a guess . Craig is a very well known tournament caster .
I’m on a bad run . It happens to everyone at some point. I’m trying to put it right but it’s a tough sport at times . I’m sure you will have great days and some very bad ones . 👍
@ just happy to catch on my first few matches- used to fish coarse matches in my youth but new challenge on the beach. You haven’t fished badly but the filming must affect your fishing to a degree at least. Sure you’ll get the winning ways back- style temporary and class permanent and all that. Keep doing what you do 👍😉
Brilliant Pete well done.

Thanks Pete, tough one
What do you call distance? I consider 100 m reasonable.. sometimes to far.. 😂
