Yea VA been mid 70s, low 80s still dude it’s insane. I don’t even know if I should be following cold water tips yet 😂 ofc it’s randomly low 60s today tho
Not sure what month that is in the lead in...Novermber. lol . Love your videos. Keep up the great work. Raised and born 3 hours north of you in Youngstown. Would love to get a private lesson just to learn how to skip. You do it so effortlessly.
it was like i was reading your mind. i have all 5 of those baits tied on for the morning. the only exception is i have a rapala og tiny instead of the Berkley fritzside.
Thanks for another informative video! I realize jerkbaits work well in water clarity over 2 or 3 feet. Will they work reasonably well in dirty water, in the 1 to 1 1/2' clarity?
Does the Omnia app have small lakes? I have several small lakes around me in upstate SC. I tend to go to those more often since I usually don’t have tons of time
What’s better, a spinnerbait or a chatterbait? I have never caught anything with a spinnerbait but I have caught tons on a chatterbait so I have little hope for spinnerbaits. I’m in Dallas area and fish local ponds off the bank
November where exactly? some states November is like Sept in others. just saying :-) In Southeast Wisconsin all those lures become less effective compared to Sept and early Oct.
I've caught plenty of spinner bait fish. But lately, here in Michigan, I've been trying to throw a black spinner bait with white eyes and a green pumpkin paddle tail. It looks pleaseing to the eye but I've had only a few bites and one "10 bass. Is this not a good color combo for the season or just period. Thanks for all the info Tyler.
Honestly with fishing you just gotta keep trying. Sometimes mismatch colors can stand out really well and get a lot of bites or sometimes the bigger bite. Other times the fish like a more natural color. Next time while you are out just try both. Try it the way you have been using it and then take the green pumpkin trailer off and try a shad color to matchy matchy. Fishing changes by the second sometimes. Never hurts to think out of the box and try new things. Water clarity and sunlight penetration can have a lot to do with what colors are working. Never be scared to change it up when things aren't working!
I've spent hours upon hours fishing. I've tried just about everything out there. Zero bites. Not hyperbole. I get skunked every single time. I watch people fishing right next to me pulling them out almost as fast as they can cast. Something must be wrong with me.
@ nothing wrong, keep on fishing , NEVER GIVE UP BROTHER. Remember when I first started back in 1990 . I struggled, and every once in a while still get skunked , but I love it so much . . Get in the zone . From spring bed fishing , fall , I’m gonna throw a spinner bait , top water . 2 willow leaf blades , smaller . blades , i have confidence you will get it . From Texas
@@JeffMeier-c2f I enjoy the peace and quiet. I'd just like to catch something every 10 hours or so of fishing. I'd just like to get at least one bite a day even if I don't land them. I can't even manage to get bit.

Depends on water quality
What is your prefered spinner bait?
For November , 2 willow leaf blades no bigger than # 4 blades . All about the spinner bait and cranks , top waters . Moving baits. Go fish
@JeffMeier-c2f thanks! so you don't have a preferred spinner brand model? Are they all the same except the blades?
I like to count with a jerk bait too, 1 Pennsylvania, 2 Pennsylvania, 3 Pennsylvania! 😅
Just caught a 7lb Striper on a jerkbait today and missed two more. One almost snatched the rod outta my hand.
hell yea, love how those stripers hit it, hybrids too
@zackzab6712 was a fun fight on 15lb floro and MH rod
Jerk bait fishing is surprisingly fun
