I don't think these are available separately. The most cost effective way is backing up the reel with a cheap mono then adding on a 300m spool of braid.
Great video and very informative.. Would the spinfisher be the one for rough ground off the rocks for tope and skate conger etc. I will use one spool with 50lb braid and the other 80lb straight through.. I wa salso thinking of the shimano power aero twin power or saragossa but are not long cast reels??
Yes the spinfisher is the one from Penn. If you are looking at shimano, I'd look at the bullseye. It's powerful and still longcast whereas the twin power and saragosa aren't.
Thanks for the heads up about the main shaft being under pressure Chris.. still learning.. Lincoln 👍
Penn tidal or vantage all day! I have both and definitely the best of all due to the slow line lay oscillation 👍
Great video really informative 👍
I use a Penn Conflict II 8000 Longcast on my Sonik X5HT, it works great on my continental rod.
Good update thanks
Welcome
The only true long cast to me there is the Blaster.
All the others just have big line capacity spools
How can I get line reducers for the spare spool? I only use braid and don’t fancy loading up 600m with half of it going to waste on the spool.

@ thought as much… thanks for responding and great video btw!

@@GerrysFishing1 Its between the Spinfisher or the Bulseye. I heard the line lay is better on the penn but is there much difference??
Why do penn not do a braid spool for the spinfisher 7500lc
We have asked for one but haven't heard back about it.
Why is there no Penn Battle in this?
It's highlighted to be discontinued early 2025.
