@@innovative_learner , sir if I change the column tasks to Employee and start / end date to start / end TIMES (to reflect duration of a job assignment during the day) as an example, could I have. Employee1 have several job assignments/tasks on one line?

I have some projects that do not have dates yet, so the chart creates dates as far back as the year 1900, which shows the project as tiny blips. I had to fix that by selecting the dat axis at the bottom, right-click "Format axis", go to the "Format axis" tab (looks like a graph - the right-most one after "Fill & line", "Effects", and "Size and Properties"), expand "Axis Options", and in the "Bounds" --> "Minimum" value I put a recent date - "1/1/2023". Then it showed up fine. This was great! Thanks so much!
Thanks for your question. Yes, it is possible to change order of table but you will, first, have to skip changing order of tasks in vertical column so in vertical axis Task-7 should be on the top and below it would be Task-6, -5, -4, -3, -2 and thus Task-1 will be on the bottom. This should still be perfectly fine as it would mean that your oldest task (Task-1) is on the bottom and other tasks are piling up thus your latest task (Task-7) is on the top. By doing so the data table will start with Task-1. Hope that helps. Please let me know if that still doesnt answer your question and I will try my best to resolve your problem. Thanks.
Hi, yes you can take care of the following things: 1. When choosing start date of a task, make sure you don't select weekends. All your start dates must be week days (Monday to Friday). Table only shows start date so if your all start dates are week days, you will not see weekends on your table. 2. In the graph, on the date scale, when you choose Minimum value for date, make sure it must be a week day. Once you do that, for the Major Unit, choose numbers that are multiples of 7 i.e. 7 or 14 or 21 and so on. In this way you will not see any weekend (Saturday or Sunday) on your graph. Hope that helps. Let me know if you are still not sure. Have a lovely day :-)

@@innovative_learner can you help me making IoT based theft detection machine using Raspberry pi I want to know more about that available video in TH-cam give less knowledge 🙂
I think for Duration the formula should be =(enddate - startdate + 1). Otherwise, something that starts and ends on the same day will have zero days duration.
@@christinaperkins7600 A one day task will begin and end on the same 1 day. Otherwise, it is not 1 day. Thus enddate and startdate will be the same. Therefore, =(enddate - startdate +1) will resolve to = 0 + 1 which will resolve to = 1. Hope this makes sense.
hello guys, just want to ask. im done following all the steps in this vid and my year in figure only 2021 and 2021, how can appear year from 1900 until 2036 in my gantt chart? so that cant see my duration period at all after click "no fill". help please
