      Lovely video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Millawdon Upright Athleticism Trick (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a good one of a kind guide for earning quick money with this simple betting system minus the normal expense. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my friend got great results with it.

    The stopwatch and pace analysis was a clue. Backing place only, especially on the exchanges where you can choose between 3,4,5 or more place markets in the same race, is better than ew. Some bookies do place only as well, if you aren't restricted.The ew terms are mostly 1/5 odds and you waste 2 stakes trying to win and place. When you do you wish you had put it all on the nose. There were pros who used to back ew on shorter prices in certain fields but bookies soon limited that.

    • @williamramage9461
      @williamramage9461 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't back horses I tend to go for trainers and jockeys that do OK at certain tracks. But generally only in Ireland. English racing is not very good. Jump racing is a lot better than flat racing. But never mind all that, did you see his ridiculous wallpaper? What a tosser.

    Good advice for the most part although he might have added one other tip which is to see how well a horse has performed in the very recent past and against what opposition before parting with your hard-earned cash and if you cannot afford to part with it, DON’T.

    1. Choose your races wisely to punt on. Eg. Big money races. Horses tend to run truer to form.
    2. Don’t punt on every race, it’s a sure lose even if you get a 20/1. You will still end up losing.
    3. Don’t chase your loses. Cut em loose, take it and wait for another day. There’s always 2 good races to punt on every meet where higher grade horses compete. If you win, cash out. Be discipline and don’t keep punting just because you have the win funds.
    Everyone can find a winner. It’s your discipline that lets you down. You lose $100 and you want to chase it back or you win $500 and you want to win more so you start punting on every race. Some days will be good, some days bad but if you discipline yourself, you will be better off

    We have a guy here being filmed placing his bets in a bookmakers, by definition that means he cannot be a successful punter otherwise he would be banned from the shop. The only conclusion is that he gets favours as an employee of a bookmaker. Perhaps he would care to explain?.

      @Nautilus1972 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Excellent observation. Although Ruby is employed by Paddy Power and he was tipping up winners. I backed BAcardys, not just because he tipped it up, but it was placed at 35/1 I got. He's not tipping losers for P Power.

    • @Veaseify
      @Veaseify 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He was filmed IN a bookmakers - he never actually placed a bet. He was writing out a £50/e/w Double on two horses at 7/2 - thats an inside joke for experienced punters, the chances of that bet being accepted are almost zero. It was just a shot to match him talking about starting off betting in Wolverhampton...

    • @Veaseify
      @Veaseify 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @jeff griffin But how much did you get on? The dwindling band of professional punters need to be able to get hundreds on at the price they want for it to be worthwhile. You can still do that with bookmakers if you use several accounts but its hopeless on the exchanges except at the big festivals or main Saturday meeting.

    • @Veaseify

    I come from a financial markets background and from my own analysis and others I have seen shows betting exchanges are extremely efficient. Randomly betting on horses or greyhounds or soccer (at least in the UK) therefore yields a zero profit minus commission in the long run. Randomly betting at bookmakers yields a zero profit minus the Vig (over round) in the long run.
    That means the only way to consistently win at betting is:
    a) have inside information which does occur in some sports;
    b) bet on exchanges in obscure sports events which are generally less efficient markets because bookmakers have less expertise than you have; or
    c) use financial market techniques to take advantage of small and temporary deviations from efficient prices which is time consuming and requires a lot of discipline and capital.

    • @Nathrw
      @Nathrw ปีที่แล้ว

      Betting companies are rich because of the majority of people not understanding how to play the game and chasing losses with compulsive bets. Also the majority of revenue comes from online casinos and slots with only roughly 38% coming from online sport books.
      Set yourself a margin to make from the money you use for gambling (just like any business) don’t be greedy, stay strategic. Yes you will have losses, again like any other business. But over the long term you will make money.

    • @jonwilliams541
      @jonwilliams541 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Race times aren't published until the next day. He will time the first couple of races to calculate 'proper' going which then helps him picks horses later in the card. Also, he calculates his own speed figures as often official times don't give a true reflection (for example if horses are walking through the start in a slow contest). He does sectionals too by using set points at each course to give him an idea of how horses finish races.

    Horse racing is a mugs game. Anyone will tell you that so never start it. I started as a bit of fun and ended up losing large sums until i learned to be disciplined and bet small and pick certain races. . The sport is fixed and bent. My advice is never back on a favorite, odds a too low and usually the 1st to be fixed not to win.
    Bet each way on a 8-1 with a good jockey and you have a good chance to win even when placed. On a 5 horse race, always back the outsider for 1-2nd each way. Dont bet more than £20 per race. Dont bet on tips unless it has come straight from the jockey himself as they know who is going to win or be close.
    Never ever back an horse that has won it,s last race or going for a hatrick, it very rarely happens. Every horse has its day to win, so look for horses that have been placed 4th -3rd and maybe 2nd in a 8+ horse race.
    Biggest tip if you win leave the shop or on the course bet small just to enjoy the bet and go out a winner
    The best multiple bet is the "Placepot" you pick a horse to be placed in the 1st 6 races. Try and keep the fav out as if they are all placed you could win 1,000.s for a £1 bet
    Hope this helps.

      Avoid betting horses on sand tracks. Same with most handicaps. Bumpers are the greatest races especially the Irish ones.
      I’ve got racing tv. I’ll bet if I feel like it. When you were young you better on every race. Now I just back a horse if I fancy it. I still read form which is the only way to back winners.
      Look at today’s race
      Would you back a class 4 horse at 7/4 or a class 1 horse at 18/1
      Boom 18/1 winner.
      But off course the experts don’t tell you that.
      Good luck in your future betting.
      And remember ignore the experts on tv.

Eventually I moved abroad and I don't bet any more except for a few quid on the lottery each week but if I'd stayed in the UK I would not have been able to resist popping into the bookies because gambling is a disease for which there is no vaccine only the desire to stop through will power

    Remember horse racing is bent.I don't mean that in a derogatory term.It has to be for its very survival. If horses ran to form most of the time then there would be no bookmakers. They are there to make a profit off you.The reason the form book is turned upside down time and time again is not down to the horse getting beat when it looked a good thing on paper. No its because it has been given a false rating by the handicapper.Its his job to stop a horses from winning.Bookmakers love handicaps. The amount of times iv'e seen a suppose good thing that has say 20lb in hand on official ratings get well beaten and punters have said how the hell did that happen.Well the handicapper has totally over rated the horse with that rating which means his chance of winning another race that season with that rating is zero.

      When the bookies shut you down you move to the exchanges. You can also try getting other people you trust to bet for you with the bookies, just give them a cut. Best way to stay off the radar of the bookies long term is to break your bet up into smaller chunks. If I want to put £100 on a horse I'll place the bet at £20 with five different bookies, this way when I win I don't hit any bookie too hard. You may have to take different odds but that's the price of staying off their radar. I keep a record of all my bets which includes which bookies I bet with and how much I've taken from each. The ones I've taken the least from are the ones I bet with first.

      @@PureExile I'm not only staking £100 a time. I was giving you an example of how to stay off the radar of the bookies for as long as possible. As it stands I'm banned by most of them but I lasted longer than a friend of mine who didn't do what I did. Also, I do not have a strategy, I just study the form. There are no systems, you have to study form and stick to races with form.

    What load of bollocks. Anyone that listens to them all chuntering on every day on wm hill radio will know they are no better off than the average punter; they don't win, it's just a job. You can't win in the long-term continually backing horses. The only way to win consistently is by laying them on the exchanges (the majority of horses esp. from smaller yards are actually not trying anyway, it's how the smaller stables get by & laying is their 'bread & butter', otherwise they'd go out of business). Anyone who is still backing horses in this day & age is cuckoo. Fact.
