Evil Ryu in other hand cannot control "hado" and was consumed by it. Gouki on the other hand turned to the dark side. But, he not evil as he can control the "hado".
True but I think Evil Ryu is just a what if character
This is the main problem with Evil Ryu he can not control his dark hado where as Akuma can this is why Akuma did not want to fight Kage because he just saw him as a wild animal it's only when Kage taunts Akuma that's when the shit hits the fan even thought Akuma is twisted by the dark hado he still lives by a code which he will not break for anyone

Akuma controls the Hado. But Evil Ryu is literally the Hado itself consuming Ryu within him. The Hado consumes people. But Akuma consumed the hado.

no one seems to realize that capcom basically gave us a glimpse of how gouki became akuma master of the fists,through evil ryu in the games,Ryu based on the path of he chooses as a warrior, represents the paths of both Master Gouken and Akuma,in the main canon storyline for Ryu,he rejects the Satsui no hado,for good after street fighter 5 and is following Gouken's path under mu no ken,while if Ryu was to give into the satsui no hado,as we've seen in his what if evil counterpart(evil ryu)he basically follows in the same path as Akuma,becoming a demon,with a lust for power and challenging worthy opponents in a fight to the death.
Of course yes, Goki the demon god, this creation which comes from a simple rumor of STREET FIGHTER 2 has become the most powerful and important fictional character in the Street Fighter universe and the being that the men of power we all want to become me including A DEMON GOD WITH SUPREME FISTS SO POWERFUL, that he can destroy planets and all things and atoms in the universe. . .

@@josecarlosramolete6109 Actually...since Street Fighter V, as per the story mode showed when Ryu finally embraced his Hado peacefully, but in doing so Ryu created another foe known as Kage.
@@josecarlosramolete6109 He doesn't reject satsui no hado, as Dhalsim says and that's the problem, that's why Kage exists, and ends up controlling his power by accepting satsui no hado but in his own way by using it without it consumes him. . .
It is for this reason that Goki is disgusted to see Ryu Used the satsui no hado with the muno hado, the power of the inner void because this modifies the use of the power of the satsui no hado in a false form and not the real one with the DEMONIAGE RED KI and that is the true power of Satsui no hado and for this reason Ryu will always be second and will never beat AKUMA GOKI

It was later revealed that Gouken survived his fight with Akuma though it would be interesting to see the sequel to this film.
Either call it Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist II or Street Fighter: Warriors Pilgrimage.
@Ryan McCarthy he was hit by the shun goku satsu, but it didn't kill him, he use the power of nothingness to empty his soul out of his body to escape the technique, remember, the raging demon not only attracks the body, it also attacks the soul too, Gouken was lucky to survive and was only in a coma

I dont get why he's coughing up blood. What's the hado doing to him exactly?
Like any anime or any energy based ki/chi flow. It’s very intense on the body. Satsu no hado is essentially the dark side of martial arts. It supported by nothing but negative energy, thinking, complete isolation, and transcending humanity.
In trade it gives you a lot of power, speed, aggression, but your body is in constant strain, stress, and can take damage very easily. Hence why in the street fighter game akuma can dish out the damage but can’t take many hits. Being control of the fight is your advantage.
In the movie the master (old guy) explains that most guys who did this path don’t live past their 30s. Gouken(akuma) learned how to master it which very few people are able to do.
Gouken the older brother is the complete opposite, his is called the power of nothingness or the state of no mind. It’s the path of peace, complete focus, and longevity. Shaolin monks, miyamoto mushashi, Bruce Lee, chuck Norris and many outstanding real fighters follow this path. Like a Jedi training takes longer is harder to get results but your not in complete isolation, you don’t lose your humanity, and you are more in more control.
@@ryuhadouken2722 oh I know about that part of the lore. In the games though you dont see Akuma cough up blood or showed signs of struggling. Just a glass cannon character who has low health but high damage to balance.

@@keybladegames_real well akuma in the game has mastered the dark arts, and in the movie has mastered the dark arts. Therefore his body has acustomed to the dark ki. before like i said its putting so much strain on the body is why hes coughing up blood

Gouki then incinerates somethings including the picture of his love which is symbolic to gouki abandoning his past, becoming akuma with his goal being the heaven itself...
