Well, if you understand Bison's story arc from the Alpha series, it centered around the fact that he apparently needs new "hosts" to continuously contain his psycho power. So it actually makes sense that his appearance (design) would change over time.
His design and first appearance also reminded me a lot of Elden Ring's Starscourge Radahn: Both seemingly lost their memories/mind, both use purplish, gravity defying techniques and both of them arrive on horseback.
Bison had the horse in the Street Fighter II V manga too. Also, Bison did have that tattered costume design as an option in Street Fighter 4. It was my favorite for him.
I love how the law of polarity is represented in SF lore. Soul Power & Psycho Power for instance. Soul power feeds off positive emotions and represents a person of high consciousness and high vibrations while psycho power feeds off negative emotions and represents a person of low consciousness/vibration. Yin & Yang, two sides of the same coin. This is also represented in the Satsui no Hado & Mu no Ken. edit: the artwork at 6:07 wasn't unused in Sf4 it was his 2nd outfit. Loved using it
I thought he was just a clone who has no memories and was awakened when Bison died. It's like he doesn't know what he is doing and is just doing his moves based on muscle memory. That would have been way better. A clone who is leaner, long hair, isn't bad and is just called Bison.
I love Bison’s New Design and it makes sense why he’s Alive as he’s the main villain of the series that will never die, especially with all of the Clone Bodies he created, however recovering his form was one thing but his Soul seems to Break Apart, it could be Ryu damage his Psycho Power or has Awakened he Good Part of his Soul Bison though he destroyed, the Answer is still unclear but I love the 4 Horsemen of Apocalypse Reference in this Character that it makes me wonder why of the Street Fighter Villains are the other 3 Horsemen.
This new design of Bison reminds me of Megaman X4's portrayal of Sigma, which is sort of the start of a trend with Sigma's character. Sigma's final forms peaked in X3 and he gets more and more visually delapidated in each game afterwards. Starting with rags, then to an unfinished final body, then to being a corpse, then being in MMX7, and finally being demoted from final boss/main villain status and being unable to hold himself together. Sigma and Bison are already really similar characters who revive themselves in the same way, so I like that they went with this trend.
That would be so cool if they embraced that theory of change for m. Bison and make a new solid bad guy so he can team up with ryu and Ken would be so dope almost like freeza a long term enemy going good but for a different reason would be so cool
It's not a moral dilemma. I think Rose etched her soul into Bison after defeating him in Alpha & with Ryu putting him into a weakened state in SF5, her essence is growing to destroy Bison from within.
I dun think M Bison will have moral conflicts with himself. More towards the theory that he is seeking revenge on JP who "robbed" his pure essence of Psycho Power and wants it back. 😅
M.Bison is still remain alive they can't lose their favorite villain and It all makes sense that how M.Bison survived the blast of the hadoken from ryu 1:25 This right hand began to crack 1:27 and to his face And that is why he is still around after Shadaloo fell and He has a horse 1:38 But somehow I did not pay attention about watching the old movie of street fighter since it's been years But I was thinking about going back watching it,why would he want a black horse and now here on SF6
It's been a long while since the last time I was genuinely interested in "Master Bison" [Vega in Japan] as a character. I'm glad that Gerald C. Rivers is still voicing him! :D Owing to the undying [lol] power-hungry aspect of his nature, I wouldn't be surprised if this amnesiac Bison still turns out *_evil_* ...but I could see him becoming a "neutral"-aligned character from now on, since his role in the overall story is effectively over. It's easy to imagine that all the other characters who fought him in the past would either still want revenge (Juri), or even *pity* the current state he's in.
It would be interesting to see Bison embrace Soul Power since that was what he was blessed with in the first place. It was only because of his thirst for power that he purged the good of Soul Power and created Psycho Power.
Since ryu defeated him and helped put an end to shadowloo bison is pretty much forced to live in exile with no resources and since his psycho powers withers his body it explains his older look since he can't move his soul to a new body
What are your thoughts on Bison's new look?
He's cool but I still think it was a bit too early to bring him back.

"I could be the guy with the tank fighting style. I run, I leap, I punch... Tank..."
This "Bison" is just one of the surviving clones his soul possessed.
For that M.Bison concept art it was actually a costume you could buy in SF4
I love this look!!! He has a emperor Palpatine thing going on as well
Well, if you understand Bison's story arc from the Alpha series, it centered around the fact that he apparently needs new "hosts" to continuously contain his psycho power. So it actually makes sense that his appearance (design) would change over time.
His design and first appearance also reminded me a lot of Elden Ring's Starscourge Radahn:
Both seemingly lost their memories/mind, both use purplish, gravity defying techniques and both of them arrive on horseback.
Bison had the horse in the Street Fighter II V manga too. Also, Bison did have that tattered costume design as an option in Street Fighter 4. It was my favorite for him.
I think with the horse they wanted to make Bison look like Raoh from Fist of the North Star instead the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse.
Loved using it
Charlie Nash: You're back again?!
M.Bison: Yep. Guess I'm not getting that Capcom vacation.
I thought he was just a clone who has no memories and was awakened when Bison died. It's like he doesn't know what he is doing and is just doing his moves based on muscle memory. That would have been way better. A clone who is leaner, long hair, isn't bad and is just called Bison.
Bison costume 3 needs to be a slimer uniform with its cloak
4:21 Actually when you consider Akuma get his "Shin" mode from a rice ball, Bison could be hungry for both lol
M. Bison now looks like the dude who asked me for a cigarette and dollar outside the gas station today.
Bison got Tired of Akuma flexing his muscles, so Bison decided to flex his own. Lol
As soon as I saw the trailer I thought: "They turned M Bison into Raoh from Fist of the North Star!"
If you look at it, the 4 horsemen are already there. Bison was the last one unless theres one we dont know about.
Akuma, Gill, Seth, and Bison.
Except Akuma was never a boss character and Seth was merely a puppet.
@niemand7811 secret boss.
Bison "unused" design in SF4 has actually been used as an alternative outfit in the game
Always been a fan of M. Bison
new look and story goes HARD!!!
M bison Represent evil Ki. One of most evil characters in frenchise.
Balrog, Vega and Sagat
When is Claw coming?
New Bison rocks
Bison followed Akuma to Tekken & stole Jin's T7 desert cloak
Lol
That painting in the film is originally a famous painting of Napoleon btw
The "Hobo Squad" lol. I like their designs a lot. Maybe because I grew old with them but the "I'm too old for this shit" vibe is great
He's Hokuto no Bison now. 🐴🦬
Heihachi heavily resembles the Skull on his iconic hat and the SHADALOO Insignia. 😁
That would be so cool if they embraced that theory of change for m. Bison and make a new solid bad guy so he can team up with ryu and Ken would be so dope almost like freeza a long term enemy going good but for a different reason would be so cool
We need a Sigma from megaman x skin/mod for him. Or of any villain that refuses to stay dead. Or a Adans Family for the reference
It's not a moral dilemma. I think Rose etched her soul into Bison after defeating him in Alpha & with Ryu putting him into a weakened state in SF5, her essence is growing to destroy Bison from within.
That concept art for bison in sf4 was used as an alternate costume
Never played bison in my life but this design makes him wayyy better imo, might main him while we wait for sagat❤
Season 3 should have hobo outfits for every member of the cast... That would be fun to see😂
I dun think M Bison will have moral conflicts with himself.
Never thought I'd see someone riding a horse with sheer narcissism but here we are.
It's been a long while since the last time I was genuinely interested in "Master Bison" [Vega in Japan] as a character. I'm glad that Gerald C. Rivers is still voicing him! :D
Owing to the undying [lol] power-hungry aspect of his nature, I wouldn't be surprised if this amnesiac Bison still turns out *_evil_* ...but I could see him becoming a "neutral"-aligned character from now on, since his role in the overall story is effectively over.
Looks like a time-travelling future Ken.
With how many times Bison has reappeared, he should really be renamed Hison.
OMG it's War Darksiders
Dude got even look less like Mike Tyson despite being named after him
He literally Looks like Megatron when he came back in the Bayverse Transformers movie.
6:08 They used it as m.bison's first alternate costume in street fighter 4.
This is the coldest Bison we’ve ever had😈
M. Bison actually my sf character aside from vega.. bad ass bison.. 😂
Enjoying Bison's new look!!
Since ryu defeated him and helped put an end to shadowloo bison is pretty much forced to live in exile with no resources and since his psycho powers withers his body it explains his older look since he can't move his soul to a new body
