Hey man you're the best and full of talent, I just picked up a sony zv-e10. Keep your head up brother, you're one of the few I watch all the way through
Ooh mae go! Tha piec o tras! Unprofessional! I am using two ZV-E10 in my professional production and they entirely replaced my GH5 B-cams and so did the ZV-E1 replace the S5. The ZV line came with some annoyances (8 bit only, small HDMI and the need for some cooling solutions in some situations), but they outweigh the limitations of my GH5, G9 or GH6. Faces are in focus. All my lenses are compatible with all bodies. Catalyst is great. The multi-interface shoe allows for many useful accesories, so for my particular workflow, the Lumixes are more and more often just sitting in a box 😊
I've got my little ulanzi ultracheapo phone lavs to keep me warm at night. If I had customers that DJI Mic 2 looks pretty damn nice for the price. 32bit float saves you from the clipping where you don't have the ability to monitor the audio actively. Super handy.
FStoppers caught some issues with the DJI set. Kind of interesting. I’ve been using the Rode Pros on several shoots and they are a huge benefit. Love having the interval 32 bit float and the charging case. Kudos to both companies for innovating.
Got mine too storm delay🥴when you hit rec on cam is saftey triggered by camera when selected w 32bit. Im New😂.hey man a duche bag instructional video. I just want to trigger cam on gimbal by remote and get that 32 bit chit for short! Possible for a duchebag like me? Im gonna finish this vid now🎉Thank You
Cop a XLR to 3.5mm cable and plug it into your favorite shotgun mic (or broadcast dynamic mic) for its full potential! this little guy can power a Shure SM7db. Agree with you not being able to activate 32 bit float with out the RX is an over sight. Didn't realize setting up a DJI affiliate account was a headache, I should probably email them back 😅
I'm glad they didn't send it to you for free, b/c I can trust your unbiased opinion. TH-cam has become so cringe I can hardly watch "the big guys" anymore. also why can they just put a elastic pouch(like a water bottle holder on a backpack) on the side of the case so you can put all the exrtra stuff that you need. Why is it so difficult.
The setup of the Mic 2 baffles me, too. I can change the settings via Pocket 3 or thr transmitter, but I was hoping there would be some comprehensive app like Røde has for all the Go series (which was annoying before, when you had to manually convert the internal recordings to wavs, but thankfully that has been changed already)
VU is the best. I didn’t buy the mic until after I saw 20 reviews and after a few days of getting inundated by marketing trash and waiting for real reviews
I’m so over the snow… The most we’ve had here in Tennessee since I was in high school and I’m old… I’m still waiting on a used lens to be delivered I offered 10 days ago.
I was about ready to grab this, but then I heard two things that made me pause. 1: It sounded a lot worse than the Rode Wireless Pro, though it's better in every other way. 2: I've heard someone comparing both of the included mics, and they sounded different from each other. One sounded dull like it was muffled, and the other sounded better, but still not great. I will mostly be using actual lavs, but I'd love to feel confident that the built-in mics have a certain level of quality and consistency. You might want to test if both of yours sound the same.
@@nVuFilms Good to know. Sorry I missed that. I'm also editing some trash video for a client, and I must have lost concentration. I need to hear more comparisons to the rode now, though the rode doesn't transmit very well through the human body. Seems like the wifi on the DJI Mic 2 is better.
I ended up going for Rode Wireless Pro for pure professional output use, both the same 32 bit float, Rode sounds better objectively in controlled environment and has thread locking for lav jack.
There is no computer app/phone app for the dji mics, so no way of changing settings on the mic without the receiver :/ Made a video about the bluetooth / no backup recording issue on my channel as well, since the smartphone bluetooth connection disables backup recordings (which means you can’t get 32 bit float recordings when connected to smartphone with bluetooth, you HAVE to have the receiver connected to the phone to be able to do backup 32 bit recordings - relating the mic sound difference there where minor frequency differences in Wayne Recs video, no big issue. For more info about the no 32 bit recording have a look at the video :)
Maybe if you said DJI instead of DGI maybe they’ll send you something 😂 Your videos are golden compared to my trash. Keep up the 🗑️ 🗣️ it’s grade A entertainment 💪
Among all the Wireless Mic at this price range, the DJI sounded the worst. It's not even a subjective thing about sound quality, it just sounded lower quality than others at the similar price range. The mic while never marketed as match, they are not consistent, one sounded darker and another can sound brighter. What's worst is that, these DJI mic are way too bright and thin which is less suitable for spoken words application which is what this mic is used for. I like everything about this mic except the sound quality. Rode wireless pro sounded the best but I don't like the form factor and their case seemed "forced" but if I had to choose. I'll still go with the wireless pro in a heartbeat. Did I mentioned that these DJI Mics are not shielded? Or poorly shielded? They are not a mic company so I understand that, but these are basic. And their sound via Bluetooth is subpar versus plugging in the receiver.
The shielding thing can be a issue, Im still using the old filmaker units, I have a sarmonic (splitter) so I can run 2 transmitters. I watched a video with quite a few mics and the filmaker was the only product that sailed through every scenario. Certainly on lav mics you need good shielding as well. Im thinking of getting the Holyland Lark 2 just for quick interviews were I pin the transmitter to the subject (no lav) just for speed, the transmitter is tiny, and the sound is great plus the price £/$150 is great.
the ending was CRAZY. love!
30 seconds in and automatically reminded why I’m subscribed to this guy 😂😂😂😂
Lol
Thanks!

I love your real thoughts and humor. Keep it coming!

My cat was sent the DJI Mic 2 for review.

Big lights are not the problem, it is stands and weights that really are the pain. Thanks for the info, hope you get your links.

Is this trash compared with SONY B1M when used at a loud music concert. Both on my A7R4 near my body. Thanks.

Tube douce not worthy enough of DJI products! lol 😂 one day they will come around. Great video
Thanks bro
Hi Vu - typically how long do the batteries last on theses products before they give up and stop charging, I've heard it can be as short as 3 years.
Never kept one long enough to find out
*I like My Hollyland Lark M1 as I don't need that 32bit float stuff, but I do need another mic for my ZV-E10*
👍
Love it, you are great brother!
Thanks 9

Hey bro can you hide the mic when putting it on the talent ? Cheers
Yea that is up to you
The end of this video just killed me 😂
Lol
Awesome review! One can clearly see how DJI is missing out on sponsering you. I wont buy their trash now until they give sponsership to you.
Lol

As I mentioned in the video... I tested all 3 and they sounded the same

@@ChadWork1 the reviews I've watched that compared... They all sound slightly different from one another but I wouldn't say any sounded horrible.

Connecting it to the app on the computer will let you activate 32bit
Nice thanks !
