Really sets the tone for the rest of the night if something happens for ceremony.
@@ryoukos DJIs all the way. I have both and my biggest issue is that I can't access the transmitter settings without connecting to a computer and using their software which is EXTREMELY irritating if you need to change a setting without a laptop handy. You can change everything remotely on the receiver with the DJIs. Also, if you're using the internal recording on the transmitters you have to use Rode's proprietary software to export the files off of the transmitters. This took me hours last time dealing with the buggy software and it has to convert the files to the format you use. With the DJIs they mount like a flash drive and you just copy the wave files off. Takes seconds and it's very easy.
Been following Justin for a while and he's the reason why I purchased them. I used them for the first time Monday for a wedding. I was about 50 feet away on a raised platform and I had the receiver even higher as I placed it on top of the speaker. Perfect line of sight. I paired them with the DJi lavalier. I used a Mackie mixer with dual XLR to 1/8 to connect. It took some EQn but I think you should always EQ!! No drop outs, no feedback...I was good. I'm going to give it 2 more tries and see how it goes.
I use the same set as your ceremony, but I also have a set of Comica's similar to the DJI as a backup/secondary... For a last minute reading or something.
I am curious if you were to plug in a real lav mic, to the DJI transmitter, if it would sound better. Also, that was some crazy distance that you were set up from the ceremony area. With all of the battery options available, I would definitely want to be closer to the guests and officiant. I currently use a combo of Sennheiser and EV Lav mic systems and would really love if something as simple as the DJI system would work. That would definitely simplify my setup. Appreciate your videos and honest critique!
Hey Aaron. I totally agree with you. I always am high strung during ceremonies when dealing anything with a wireless mic. I have this DJI mic and have only used it to jump the signal from one speaker to another at a ceremony. I recently had an officiant want to use it instead of a handheld (I havent made the lav mic investment yet), and I didn’t have drop outs but it wasn’t the best sound and it made me nervous as hell the whole time! Thanks for the vid. I have a nice Seinheisser mic, but need to upgrade to the dual myself.
Wow that’s a unique use for these DJI mics I haven’t seen before! So you’re saying you can use them to wirelessly connect two speakers together kind of like a wireless XLR system? That’s very intriguing How has that been working?? I was looking at xvive and other similar devices, but if that’s possible with these DJI devices, I may have to try it out!!
Dope video man! I have the Rode ones, I just can't trust it. The mic is too tinny on those and running off the 2.4 wireless system I'm even more skeptical especially in NJ/NY/PA.
Great review Aaron. I’m glad you use your channel to provide real reviews on DJ gear. You don’t endorse products that are garbage. The issue with the DjI microphones is that they use the 2.5 GHZ frequency, same as WiFi. That frequency is too congested and the signal is never strong enough to maintain constant communication with the receiver.
I wouldn’t use them just clipped on like when doing video audio. I use the Lavalier attachment and clip it on like a tradition Lav Mic. Never had any issues of additional noise.
Completely agree with your assessment. I use a dual mic system as well. I use the Shure SLXD model with a lav mic as well as I have 2 handhelds as well.
Hm, so why is on-board recording and sync in post not an option here? The wireless option is perfect for checking the levels, but dont record this directly to your video feed. Plus, attach a lav if its too bulky.
So this is more from the perspective of the DJ using these to amplify through a speaker. I've heard nothing but amazing things from videographers using them
First off, you're a mile away from the action, so of course you might have some issues with signal strength. I would never set up where you did. Move your system to the side of the seats far enough away to stay out of photos. And if you're worried about the position of the mic, then you should drop it in his pocket and add a lav. You can also clip it to officiant's binder or book if he's using one. It'll pick everyone's voices up perfectly. I've done this a couple of times now with absolutely no issues.
Nah not unless it's the brand new Rode version, which I haven't treated yet. The wireless go 2 is unreliable. The DJI is the best in the market from everything I've seen
I'd say I was about 50-60 feet away. I post up there because that hill is dippy further down, plus I was able to be in the shade and see the wedding party (up the hill). Closer I agree (and hope) would give me a better signal, just don't trust it though.
Hey bud, I’ve been using these mics for ceremonies for quite some time, here’s my honest opinion on them, never use both mics at the same time. It’s just not smart enough to handle two at a time. One or the other keeps cutting out, so I stopped doing that. The other tip I have would be to not be as far back as you were in that video, the third tip I have is to use a Lavier, mic, that way you can clip the transmitter anywhere higher on the shoulder to have better line of sight. The last tip I have is to wait till everyone is present for you to open that case up, because, from what I understand, every time you open the case, it automatically searches and finds the clearest signal, so for whatever reason, I just think it’s safer to wait till everyone is there, so that their cell phones or whatever have you that might cause interference or clutter the wave bands can be already there by the time it searches for the best channel. With that being said, still love your videos and keep at it bro! Next time message me hahaha I won’t leave you on read. 😂
Yeah definitely agree. I’ve only ever seen these used as backup audio mics by videographers so that they can record multiple sources for post production. I could never risk it for a ceremony. I use the audio technica 3000 series mics and those give me peace of mind. It’s an investment that’s worth every penny
Nah not unless it's the brand new Rode version, which I haven't tested yet. It's supposed to essentially be a copycat of the DJI. If you're talking about the wireless go 2, it's unreliable unfortunately. The DJI is the best on the market from everything I've seen. The Go 2 doesn't have nearly as much signal range and it's much more prone to cutting out if it's fighting for a clean signal, the battery life is really weak, and it's actually difficult to know how much battery there is on that unit. I was given the DJI recommendation by a high end videographer when he saw that I was using the Go 2. He told me to make the change immediately, and I jumped on his suggestion once I did some research.
Just ran across this video. 100% agree. I think the DJI are a good unit for their Intended purpose, not for Wedding PA duty. Close and personal video duty for a quick podcast, or vLog ok..but wedding, i wouldn't trust it. We have used the DJI for Zoom/Teams type streams where the speaker was right in front of the camera and monitoring thru headphones, worked out great. However, I tested them with a dance instructor during an event at a large venue with about 80 people in the dance floor. Figured since the transmitter on the DJI is so small it would make it comfortable for the instructor and a quick and easy setup, but tried it twice and either I ran into drop outs once the crowd was in the floor with the instructor, or it just picked up feedback too easy no matter what we tried (eq, speaker placement, speaker height, volume control, etc.). I would not trust this at a wedding event unless it was a VERY small group of people or location, and only as an absolute backup-had-no-choice but to use them.
Hey Aaron, great video, I use the Hollyland Lark M1 wireless system, It is much lighter than the DJI Systems, Like any piece of equipment, you have to find what works for you and like anything else you need to have a back up ready to go. I have never had a problem or dropout, since I started using these and most importantly. No only do I test the mics, but I also put the officiant in place to pretest the mic as well. I am on the East coast so we are doing events in Philly, NY, NJ Delaware... and I have had no issues, Paired with my everse 8 it has been the perfect Ceremony rig. Keep up the good work
I also purchased after Justin’s video thinking this is too good to be true. I have used them twice and they have been excellent! Used a lavalier and only put it on the officiant and it picked up the bride and groom better than my EV re3. The videographers were also impressed with the sound quality
The DJI can also do internal recording so you have it as a extra back up to sync later if the connection fails it would work better to with a lave mic attached
Hey Aaron. Great video bro. I would never use anything like this for a ceremony or even those xhive wireless things. I use (3) Shure slxd systems. 2 lavs and 1 handheld if needed. Basically the same $2k you spent on the Sennheiser but 3 separate units with the antenna distribution and the fin antenna.
💯. Done hundreds of weddings and every ceremony always gives me anxiety. If I could spend thousands to guarantee a drop out would never ever happen, I'd do it. There's no way I'd risk a ceremony using a $300 product using 2.4ghz band. There's already enough stress without having to worry about inference.
Aaron, Rachel was using a different brand but same concept that had 3 mics available. She would probably a good one to reach out to for this chat. But I am very nervous to try it out for a wedding also. Looking at Nick Spinelli he is only using Lav mics only.
Thx for the honest review of this 👍🏾 I was legit about to pull the trigger for this to use as my microphone instead of doing a wireless handheld...... But I was super leery of doing it and I'm glad I didnt bite on me without first seeing somebody do a real world test... Lavalier / lapel mics have always been a concern of mine for close shuffling noise that you're inevitably going to have with normal movement
yep...paid gigs are sacred!! So..as a videographer, I use sennheisser G3 lav mics and sometimes I get some RF interferance and I was thinking that as a back up I could use the DJI mic 2 (the newer) with a lavalier so that I have the Sennheisser and the DJI on the groom for example and I would record on the DJI internally while receving a signal in to my camera (I have 4 channels of audio)- I wonder how much better the Mic 2 is? or the same crap?
My DJI mics have been flawless for me!!! I mean if I had a $2000 mic system of course I would choose it over something that is $300 lol. But for what the DJI mics are they work great. Ohhh. I use an Everse 8 Dji mics and an iPad via Bluetooth for every one of my ceremonies. I got some big ole balls!!!! Idk if it’s just my location(Southern Illinois)or if I’m just lucky but I’ve never had a drop out. And I try new shit out all the time lol
@@AaronStrawn TBH I don’t keep an eagle eye on it like you did in the video. I turn them on make sure they are connected and clip it to the top of the Everse. Of course I adjust the gain and eq for whoever is speaking but that’s what the EV app is for. I’ve never had anything but compliments on how well the guests could hear everything. I’m not here to argue or anything at all. It just works for me and could probably work for others as well. If I were in an area that had a crowded bandwidth I’m sure my opinion would be different.
With microphones- you get what you pay for. Too many “influencers” misleading people with crap that they get a cut from endorsing. Way to keep it real. 🙌
I genuinely think he’s not trying to mislead us. I wanted to try these out too cause of the simplicity of them. For me, it’s a no because I just can’t risk it for a ceremony
Thank you so much for this video and all the comments under it, so much wisdom I couldn't easily find elsewhere! Keep up the great videos and community 🙂
I've been using my Rode Wireless Go II with a lav mic for a couple of years now. They have been good to me with no issues. The key for me is to always use the lav and not just any lav, use the Rode lav. I tried using some cheaper ones I got off of Amazon and they sounded like crap. As for signal reception, I am always within 100 feet of the ceremony and don't have issues with dropouts.
I used it for a few events but went back to my Sennheisers. my issue was not signal by any means but I didnt love the sound quality. it sounded really Tinie to me.
I noticed that too, again, I have nothing wrong against the DJI, I just don’t think they made them for our applications. Next time I see you, but me a 🍺
Been using these since I saw Justin's video. I have had zero issues with them. Now, I don't usually setup from the very back of the ceremony. I go from the side or way off the front so I'm out of sight but have line of sight with mics. Have not had any drop outs at all since I've started using them. I do also always have a backup handheld on a stand just in case. I also put the receiver nice and high on top of my Bose s1. Knock on wood no issues at all.
Definitely valid points! I did my research and pulled the trigger on the Ankerworks. Used them out in the field 3x now and going on 4th this Saturday. So far I have to say it’s been well. Of course not high end stuff but the reason I pulled the trigger was because I was having issues on a more expensive Shure lavalier setup, now how that work 🤔
🤔I would never use something 2,4 GHz (or 5) for that job, at least not so far from the bride & groom as in Aarons video. If the receiver had antennas and I was fx placed just out to the side left/right and with the receiver on top of the speaker and line of sight from transmitters to receiver......ma-a-a-y-y-b-e-e-e I would consider it, the small size is appealing. But something in the UHF spectrum like the Deity THEOS kit (1100$ 1rec.+2 transmit+ 2 lav mics+SMA antennas+case) would probably be better. But let us all watch Justins videos the next ½ year, if he suddenly switches to other wireless-ceremony mics we all know why 😉😀But I give Justin a👍for trying something different and sharing it - new ideas is always welcome.
Agreed! I never use anything in 2.4 (or even the 5) for clients anymore. I've even tried the Analogue Alto Stealths... Like you say - I don't wanna spend my time stressing and waiting for something to cut out haha. You can't work to your best like that! I love the reliability of Sennheiser's EW-D gear - lots of combinations to tailor to your needs and easy to set up, so all I need to worry about is doing what I need to do for the couple. That stability and assuredness is worth the investment, without a doubt.
@@AaronStrawn have you checked out the EW-DP sets? Perfect for celebrants and they're battery powered so easily hooked up to the Everse8. Being a part of that EW-D family, you can go with hand held mic and lav mic with belt pack options.
“I did the mature thing and I unfollowed his ass. He’s f***ing dead to me” 🤣😂🤣😂💀 I just about died laughing after that. Aside from being informative technically, you’re funny as hell. For that alone, you’ve gained a new follower.
I think any wireless can have issues. I don't use these but have been intrigued. I have had wireless interference before even after scans and such. So I feel it can happen just as much with these as with any other wireless system.
It’s true, they can be a gamble. I was at a venue and my IEM system could not find a clean channel. But I can say so far this year, I haven’t had any issues with this one
Thank you so much for this video Aaron. I did the same thing. Saw Justin the Dj's video. Bought this and have been wondering, can I use this for a ceremony? I was going to do a very similar test today. Put on groom as a backup, low volume test. Did you ever try this test again? I did use the DJI mic for recording into my iPhone and that works great, just like you're doing in this video.
all my ceremonies are outdoors so I will always prefer wireless handheld mics because it consistently puts out the best quality. With clip ons there are too many variables to worry about : wind , what the officiant is wearing (where they will place it) , voice level. The best officiants I know prefer handheld.
Yeah .. I'm not risking it for outdoors ceremonies.. it's not worth it.. that's not for live productions for recording and small talking engagements koo.
Been contemplating giving them a shot for ceremonies myself, already have a set that I have strictly used for video work, content creation and street interviews...just can't bring myself to trust it lol even with all of the testimonies from people who have had success with them
You got it! Ok- so for weddings, I can't recommend a mic under $200. I will say, that if you go budget with mics, you are risking dropouts, feedback and other issues. It's the LAST thing you want to happen at a wedding. Try and get your budget higher for weddings. That being said..lol...Phoenix Pro has some handhelds that have been pretty good and are in that budget
Awesome video! I remember Ben Stowe saying lav mics are risky on a podcast in the past. Also, I ain’t fukin around with putting a lav on a female officiant.
Where the hells your parametric EQ? As a pseudo audio guy (that's me!) With hundreds of live audio gigs under my belt (also me) i was wondering how you ran a hot wireless mic strait through a live speaker without a mixer board in order to cut out the bass? (of course using these entry level hot wireless mics in a live venue takes brass balls!)
When I watched his video, I thought he said he was using a Shure Mic plugged into those. Did you try the same, or were you using a built in mic to those? I personally use a JTS set of lapels or a Sennheiser depending on which rig I take out.
i experimented with my Rode Go2 mics along with my usual Sennheiser lav mic. They worked fine for the bride and groom, the officiant gets the real lapel mic. Additionally I provide a wireless Sennheiser handheld mic as a back up mic also good for readings. I also use a lav mic connection for my Rode mics with a white lav for the bride and black for the groom. Videographers love it as they just take a feed off my mixer Aux out to get the clean sound. BTW, I set up a full two speaker and mixer system for my weddings unlike you lazy Everse 8, one microphone with an iPad system DJ's 🙂 - Hugs
I wouldn't use the DJI for ceremonies, but rather recording audio. Phenyx can be used at events, as I've heard said. I wouldn't at a wedding, but small private/bar events, sure
Anything running in 2.4GHz is a no-go for me in a live audio situation. A single human body can/will block 2.4GHz signals very easily. Couple that with 100+ cell phones showing up at showtime clogging up the wifi spectrum makes the DJI mics (and all similar products like XVive, Rode, etc) an absolutely imminent disaster.
I'm not saying these are dope or nope but we can't judge products on cost, or that's a stupid metric I'd say. A $2000 kit can drop out too no? 1 test is not really proof of anything. Maybe they suck? I bought some and am using them first time Saturday and we'll see what's up. No hate for premium gear, I'm definitely not afraid to pay for quality but I'm also never dismissive of cheaper gear either. These days and technology has changed the rules on expense vs performance on too many things.
"Dear Justin, you haven't replied I hope you have a chance, I think it's messed up you don't answer fans. You gotta call me man, I'll be the biggest fan you'll ever lose Sincerely yours, Aaron, P.S. We should be together, too."
I have the Rode version, and it claims 900 feet or something. I got 40 feet MAX. You have to be in DIRECT line of sight. Good luck if someone stands up. Would never trust these for such important things as a ceremony. They are cute though! Anything running on 2.4 can't be taken seriously for professional use.
lol shots fired @dj Justin James. Speaking of that guy a few of his wedding DJ clips are completely mimed nor is he really mixing the music. Not all but some.
I wish I saw this before I bought them. It’s only great when the receiver is close with direct line of sight. DJI is full of crap with the range. It’s not true. The tests at home were great. I thought I hit the lotto. Until the wedding day. I had to pick up my speaker and receiver and move closer because all of a sudden it sounded like my officiant was talking with a mouth full of water. I even tested it before. But the cellphones and people standing is another thing. So if anyone saw this video, save yourself the money and headache. It is NOT for pro wedding DJs. Wish it were. It was so simple to use. Shame.
😂😂😂😂😂 love how you holding people accountable. Thanks for the review man I was wondering the same thing after seeing that exact video!!

I also purchased after Justin’s video thinking this is too good to be true. I have used them twice and they have been excellent! Used a lavalier and only put it on the officiant and it picked up the bride and groom better than my EV re3. The videographers were also impressed with the sound quality
I wanna be a believer!!! For real, I love the simplicity, the presentation, the ease, maybe I'm just a chicken lol
What were your settings and your EQs like? I'm using mine on a Yamaha mixer . I'm trying them out today
I agree. These are not pro level options. I’m keeping them for making videos!
This is exactly how I feel. Even though these are easier, I just trust a mic system meant for this situation
Been looking for this specific video! Thank you dude
You got it!
You get a solid signal the entire ceremony?
@@AaronStrawn TBH I don’t keep an eagle eye on it like you did in the video. I turn them on make sure they are connected and clip it to the top of the Everse. Of course I adjust the gain and eq for whoever is speaking but that’s what the EV app is for. I’ve never had anything but compliments on how well the guests could hear everything. I’m not here to argue or anything at all. It just works for me and could probably work for others as well. If I were in an area that had a crowded bandwidth I’m sure my opinion would be different.
@@krisdees I’m glad to hear they’re working for you, I want them to be awesome! They just make me nervous
Is it possible to use the auxiliary in AND bluetooth on the Everse 8 at the same time?
Did you use a mixer to plug tge DJi into?
With microphones- you get what you pay for. Too many “influencers” misleading people with crap that they get a cut from endorsing.
Way to keep it real. 🙌
I genuinely think he’s not trying to mislead us. I wanted to try these out too cause of the simplicity of them. For me, it’s a no because I just can’t risk it for a ceremony
Thank you so much for this video and all the comments under it, so much wisdom I couldn't easily find elsewhere! Keep up the great videos and community 🙂
Thanks!
I know you guys are out there using these, I'm glad to hear they are working, I just don't feel confident enough to try
Aaron, thank you for being real with this!!! #respect
Always my goal!
Good stuff man! Way to support DJ science 👨🔬
I got my degree in DJ Science!
Haha damn I got mine in advanced bar crawling… I should have done that instead!
Glad they're working for ya. I just can't handle the terror of hoping they work lol
still zero issues?
still zero issues?
I use the Hollyland (secondary mic) with a lav mic and it works perfectly.
I've heard people praise those too. Just too risky for me!
Definitely valid points! I did my research and pulled the trigger on the Ankerworks. Used them out in the field 3x now and going on 4th this Saturday. So far I have to say it’s been well. Of course not high end stuff but the reason I pulled the trigger was because I was having issues on a more expensive Shure lavalier setup, now how that work 🤔
Wireless is always a gamble. I think the more you spend, you should be getting a better quality system that you can trust their big day with
🤔I would never use something 2,4 GHz (or 5) for that job, at least not so far from the bride & groom as in Aarons video.
I agree. I’m a fan of any DJ that puts out new fresh ideas.
100%
@@AaronStrawn have you checked out the EW-DP sets? Perfect for celebrants and they're battery powered so easily hooked up to the Everse8. Being a part of that EW-D family, you can go with hand held mic and lav mic with belt pack options.
“I did the mature thing and I unfollowed his ass. He’s f***ing dead to me” 🤣😂🤣😂💀 I just about died laughing after that. Aside from being informative technically, you’re funny as hell. For that alone, you’ve gained a new follower.
Welcome! There's more pettiness to come lol
@@AaronStrawn I’m here for it lol
Thx for sharing ur option AS, too risky imo
I didn’t. I’m never using these for ceremonies.
all my ceremonies are outdoors so I will always prefer wireless handheld mics because it consistently puts out the best quality. With clip ons there are too many variables to worry about : wind , what the officiant is wearing (where they will place it) , voice level. The best officiants I know prefer handheld.
There's a photographer getting ready to rage type a reply I just know it lol.
Phuck their pics, not the djs problem 😜
I agree. If I don’t need to use the lapel, I encourage them to use my handheld. Sounds so much better and gets louder without squeakin
Doesn’t really matter if it drops out if it has onboard recording redundancy like the Rode Wireless Mic Pro.
I'm talking about using it through a PA
@@AaronStrawn Oh okay
I use the phenyx pro ptu 2U. I haven’t had any issues. Great system under 400 dollars.
I’ve been asked to review these, want to try them out
The PTU 2U are what I use in my main rig. Once they are eq’d correctly they are awesome.
Dude I love them! I did test them on a couples big day lol 😂 they worked but yeah that ruffle can be rough depending on the position.
Riskin it hard out there! Lol- glad they're working for you
How were your settings...how did you like the sound quality...imtesting them out at home and it sounds real airy
Yeah .. I'm not risking it for outdoors ceremonies.. it's not worth it.. that's not for live productions for recording and small talking engagements koo.
Thx for testing it Broski. I was pondering this for a minute. You’re doing gods work.
Just trying to save you guys that embarrassing moment of ruining a big day for someone!
lol, mos def @@AaronStrawn
Been contemplating giving them a shot for ceremonies myself, already have a set that I have strictly used for video work, content creation and street interviews...just can't bring myself to trust it lol even with all of the testimonies from people who have had success with them
Unless I'm like 5 feet away, I'm not using these for ceremonies. Can't risk it
🤣🤣🤣 left me on read = dead to me
That's the Italian in me lol
New to weddings...😂 Thank you for this video! Can you recommend a budget friendly wireless system option ($200
Awesome, thanks Aaron. Hopefully will upgrade once I start gigging!
@@AaronStrawn
Great way to test the system, as a secondary mic system. Smart move ... 👌
I just couldn’t gamble with their moment, not with something like this, thanks bro!
@@AaronStrawn I get this 100%
Awesome video! I remember Ben Stowe saying lav mics are risky on a podcast in the past. Also, I ain’t fukin around with putting a lav on a female officiant.
They are, and sound so tinty. I run a handheld every time I can
Where the hells your parametric EQ? As a pseudo audio guy (that's me!) With hundreds of live audio gigs under my belt (also me) i was wondering how you ran a hot wireless mic strait through a live speaker without a mixer board in order to cut out the bass? (of course using these entry level hot wireless mics in a live venue takes brass balls!)
Everse 8 has a built in mixer and I just use the presets, thanks for asking about my balls!
When I watched his video, I thought he said he was using a Shure Mic plugged into those. Did you try the same, or were you using a built in mic to those? I personally use a JTS set of lapels or a Sennheiser depending on which rig I take out.
That was the latest one, I was referring to the Insta post. I’m sure that helps with the sound for sure. Bet it’s easier to tuck away too
i experimented with my Rode Go2 mics along with my usual Sennheiser lav mic.
Lazy???? Lmao
I have had signal issues at that distance with my Senheisser lav mics…why are you 100 yards away from the ceremony?
Video looks like I'm further away then I was. I actually measured out being about 50 feet away from the officiant
thanks. that's stunning upload-🤩
I thought I looked good too
hahaha! Yeah Justin is so busy, he rarely answers messages. You really need to use lapel mics with these. DJI needs to send these mics with them!
Well, I’m still waiting. He can have till 2025 😂
hahahahahaha @@AaronStrawn
DJI or Phenyx pro? What's your pick?
I wouldn't use the DJI for ceremonies, but rather recording audio. Phenyx can be used at events, as I've heard said. I wouldn't at a wedding, but small private/bar events, sure
Anything running in 2.4GHz is a no-go for me in a live audio situation. A single human body can/will block 2.4GHz signals very easily. Couple that with 100+ cell phones showing up at showtime clogging up the wifi spectrum makes the DJI mics (and all similar products like XVive, Rode, etc) an absolutely imminent disaster.
I had a father of the bride want to use those on him for his speech it was dropping out and then I was happy I didn’t buy those lol
Ugh!
Same, I agree. But these were made more for vlogging and videos than PA systems and mic applications. I just feel like it’s not worth the risk
Makes it sound like a Jerry Springer show fight
0:54 😂😂😂
"Dear Justin, you haven't replied I hope you have a chance, I think it's messed up you don't answer fans. You gotta call me man, I'll be the biggest fan you'll ever lose
Sincerely yours, Aaron, P.S. We should be together, too."
I’m WAITING
Still love you man 😂😂😂
I have the Rode version, and it claims 900 feet or something. I got 40 feet MAX. You have to be in DIRECT line of sight. Good luck if someone stands up. Would never trust these for such important things as a ceremony. They are cute though! Anything running on 2.4 can't be taken seriously for professional use.
Same bro, they say about 800 feet, which would be awesome! I'm not slamming these mics, I just don't think this is the application for them.
Ya, but I am! Slam away! 😂 @@AaronStrawn
Remind me to never get a Apple Watch. It would call 911 on me during ceremonies Lol.
😂
I have been using the Rode Wireless Go 2 since they came out. Done at least 100 weddings since then and they ALWAYS work perfectly.
Can't argue that, I've heard this bunches. I'm glad they are working
lol shots fired @dj Justin James. Speaking of that guy a few of his wedding DJ clips are completely mimed nor is he really mixing the music. Not all but some.
Still waiting for a reply...
You were super far away. Wonder how the levels would have been if you were 10ft off the back row.
Looks further then I was, probably about 50' out. Probably better
Shame.
Thanks for reporting a real life experience. Bummer that this happened, I hate that feeling
nope nope nope. no way.
Don’t use an iPad for music in the sun. It will fry it and the music will shut off. TRUST ME!!
Yeah, it's not a good idea. What's nice about the battery speaker, I can move my rig under a tree of find shade for it
Scrolling through the comments looking for my buddy @Justin_TheDJ : )
