I spent some time in rehab for alcoholism while in the Navy in 2018. I was pretty sure no one understood me until I had a counselor, the first time she’d ever met me, said “hi”and said “I’d like to play something for you.” And she sat me down and played “One Day At A Time.” The only time I shed a tear while I was there and one of the nicest things a human had ever done for me. So that’s my favorite of Joe’s tunes. But I play along with Rocky Mountain way on the drums about every day too :) Anyways, Joe is a legend!

In The City. Love the tempo and mood. Eerily foreshadowing eminent danger, yet somehow peaceful.

Wow…I couldn’t imagine the Eagles without Joe Walsh.
    Don’t get me wrong,
The Eagles were great before Joe Walsh,
But Joe Walsh delivered the Eagles to GREATNESS!

Rocky Mountain Way was the first Walsh song I heard ( James Gang didn’t get on UK radio) and instantly made me a fan. However, his greatest surely has to be The Confessor - epic!
