The teaching method is still used in language classes, where it's called Total Physical Response (TPR). It's not used so much for describing bowel disorders though.
This is so educational, I can already feel my English language knowledge level rise from B2 to native speaker. Also, I have a bad case of diarrhea :(
"I was robbed by two men"
[Subtitles]
"I was loved by two men"
Me: well...aren't you popular?
I've been singing "I have have a bad case of diarrhea" for 3 days now...I'm...slowly...losing...my....mind...
"I cant stand the sight of you"
(shows Boris)
Me: That Is Perfection
Inserted later as Boris wasn't around 30 years ago.
Weren't we lucky thirty years ago.
I didn't get this Joke! Please help me understand it.
@@clydeds123Boris Johnson was the Prime Minister or Britain at the time of the recording of the video, and his ways are criticized for very good reasons. It was Chris’s way of being critical of him by also making a joke.
Now I can't stop to singing: "I have a bad case of diarrhea". I hate and love you at same time...
"I have a bad case of diarrhea" is stuck in my head now. Thanks.
Imagine a Japanese person getting really into this, but then confusing some of the lyrics because they have the same beat:
I have a bad case of penicillin
I am allergic to diarrhea
I was robbed by diarrhea
I have a bad case of two men
The climax was sensational in that dress...
The climax was sensation in that dress kinda makes sense in a very specific way if you think about it.
Godzilla had a stroke while reading this and fucking died
You look sensational in diarrhea
I have not laughed like that in a while. Funny comment 😂
Omg 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
As a German, I laughed even harder about this bizarre workout videos, because some of these girls are wearing sports dresses with "Fräulein" print on it, which is a pretty old fashioned word for "madame" :D And of course, the book explanation what a "f*ckin' bastard" is like was simply just brilliant xD
You can't fool me, Chris. This was clearly just a reaction video in disguise.
“I thought it was a parody or something, who would make this?”
C’mon you’ve lived Japan for a while now this shouldn’t be a phrase in your vocabulary Chris
especially since the episodes he featured are almost 15 years old.
the exact clips he used can be found right here on youtube, and those are dated 2007. type zuiikin girls into your search bar and see for yourself
This brought back memories of actually watching this show on Fuji back in 1992. I would commute to Tokyo early in the mornings and so would wait around in my house for about 20-40 minutes just watching what was on television. As someone who had been on many business trips to America, I knew that language like this was not exactly useful, but it was still entertaining with its loud synths and dancing sequences. As one of those ‘extra slots’ on television just after the Bubble period, it wasn’t well-known but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Chris: "Essentially a Japanese Karen"
Joe: " I feel called out"
Someone please make a one hour loop of Natsuki exercising to “I have a bad case of diarrhea.”
Ask the internet and ye shall receive
Yes pls
I am also greedy and want a rap version!
Well, I wanted to watch something short & chill while eating a quick lunch.
I'm dead from laughing so hard & my sandwich is everywhere, thank you.
~Also, Natsuki is the absolute best, I love him, thank you guys for being friends! :D
Out of all your wonderful videos chronicling your adventures in Japan, this was by far the most difficult to explain as my wife walked into the room...
'I have a bad case of diarrhea'
"What the hell are you watching, weirdo?"
Lmao
Person: is getting robbed
Everyone else: 💃"I have a bad case of diarrhea"💃
5:18 Chris' face when he finally gets to see Mt. Fuji after the weather clears XD
Jokes aside, nice video man :)
That girl was really generous. The robber only wanted her bag yet she wanted to give anything.
At the end: "As for me, I've got a case to solve"
Me: a case... of diarrhea? 🤔
Your friend from 7:12-8:05 cracked me up hahaha. Especially the transition into "Spare me my life" lmaooo he was amazing
"I was robbed by two men"
"Ma'am this is a Makudonarudo"
Seriously, Chris needs to track down those three ladies and interview them. What did they actually think of the show? Also, I'm curious to see if they dance when answering Chris's questions.
BTW, if the woman getting robbed had said, "I have a bad case of diarrhea", she might have been able to keep her purse.
It was like Natsuki was saying “I was loved by two men” 🤣
Well to be fair hearing "I have a bad case of diarrohea" at 4:30 in the morning will wake you right up.
Replying just to say I love your Daredevil icon
@@sandrarivera1262 Thanks. I've had it since 2015, when the show first came out.
I cannot express with words the absolute joy that Natsuki brings to my life
"I have a bad case of diarrhea" is now stuck in my head. This is going to be a looooong day. Especially for my colleagues. 😁
Hahahaha
"I was robbed by two men"
Chris: But how did they look like?
"I was robbed by two men" 🤣🤣🤣
This show is seriously messed up. Also, I just can't imagine Chris as a policeman. 😂😂😂
At least he did not say to the police that "You look sensational in that dress".
Kind of reminds me of the Saturday night show actress who would chime in with "He looked like a man". Laugh!
@@Pehmokettu Hahahahaha yes this would have been epic
I think he said he was "loved" by two men, that's why the the police officer said, "Oh, good on you then"😃😄
I love that you either had that policeman outfit just lying around or you bought it specifically for this video. The dedication. Also, doctor Chris is hot!
DR Chris > Officer Chris
@@AbroadinJapan now we need Dr Jelly Vs Dr Chris in the upcoming Journey Across Japan.
Chris > Dr. Chris > Officer Chris ;)
A man in a uniform or a nice suit and shirt is normally quite hot i think x
@@missd4244 men are like fine wines they get finer with age 😊 thats why they get called silver foxes x
1:31 Best joke ever in this video. I wasn't expecting that at all, so it was very difficult to contain my laughter, because it's 7 in the morning, and my parents are still sleeping.
I dunno, the phrase worked for me, I’m walking the house singing “I have a bad case of diarrhea.”
"I HAVE A BAD CASE OF DIARRHEA."
♪ Drinking A Lot of Juice Was A Bad Idea♪
"What happened to the Zuiikin boys?" I suspect a story of drugs, depression and untold suffering.
When my friends asked me if the second shot of the covid vaccine gave me any side affects it has been very hard not to start dancing "I HAD A BAD CASE OF DIARRHEA"
Giuliani was right about the vaccine then
