Relationships that spawn from friendships tend to work out better than strangers who have met. I think the reason is because the two got to know each other better and have formed a better sense of trust. However, that's not always the case and not all friends can be compatible lovers. Asking out a friend can be very scary because if the feeling isn't mutual, it can cause a rift and things fall apart after that. But I'm glad it worked out between you two.
Just randomly dating strangers is scary because you don't really know them. Romantically crossing the line with friends is terrifying because there might not be a going back. But going from friendship to relationship is so much more satisfying because the relationship is based on a solid foundation. You know them, then you get infatuated because you know them.
@@stuntmonkey00 You're correct. But most people would rather date someone they just met than someone they've been friends with for years precisely for the reason of 'there might not be a going back'. If you lose someone you've known for a short while, it'll hurt less than losing someone you've known and trusted for much longer.
Can say from experience, falling for a friend is VERY scary. It actually made me sick from the anxiety. I told her, and she didn't feel the same. But we're still great friends 🙂. You can't lose what you never had, so it didn't hurt too much.
I've been dating my best friend for 8 years, known each other for 13 years and I have to say it was the best decision I ever made. We got married last year, and have a 4 year old, and I couldn't imagine having this life with anyone else 🥰
As a Brit I knew that Chris liked you as soon as he started teasing and insulting you. That’s how we show affection in the UK! Congratulations and best wishes to you both!
when I watched the proposal-storyline of Chandler and Monica on Friends I thought no one would be as stupid as Chandler making their partner believe they didn't want to get married and make them really upset but I stand corrected 😂
All of my girlfriends were friends first. I knew Terry was special within hours of meeting her. I knew I wanted to marry her during our 4th date. I didn't believe she'd ever agree to marry me, so it took years to propose. I lost Terry to cancer in 2015. I was a very lucky man to have her in my life.
What a beautiful story. How amazing it is to fall in love, even if loss comes with it. It’s so amazing how you got to spend the last years of her life surrounded by love. I’ll tell my family I love them today ❤
Ever since I saw them together on that "Cycle across Japan" episode with the rollercoaster ride, where Sharla was dropping F-bombs at Chris I believed they were made for each other.
I'm happy to hear you two are in the same page with kids. I'm 31 next month and my partner is 33 and we both share the same feelings on kids. Not everyone should have children. You shouldn't be shamed for wanting to remain child free either.
I’ve known I don’t want kids for a very long time. I’m only 22 but everyone keeps saying “you can change your mind.” It’s annoying how if you want kids, no one will ever say that to you though. Kinda like how Chris said, I don’t think I’d be a good parent. Me and my bf both don’t want kids and know we wouldn’t be a good fit for the job. We both prefer animals to people so we’ll just adopt some animals and give them a good life. As long as the people in a relationship know what they want, I wish more people would respect that
@@kaitlynwalters9086 yeah and especially women are just often ask when they plan to get pregnant? It's invasive (and can be really harsh when that person is actually wanting children, but is infertile) and when you do bother to respond with saying you don't want any people always tell you you'll change your mind. It's reducing especially women to just their reproductive functions and when you're told you'll change your mind, it's taking away agency.
@@favi677 I think everyone is allowed to change their mind, but I think it's super invasive and disrespectful to ask people this and then if they tell you how they feel, people then doubling down and not excepting someone's genuine feelings at the time. And maybe some people feel the need to be so adamant about their views on not wanting children, because of societal pressure. Overall I think it's a an issue that people sort of see married with kids as the societal standard. It's quite hard to unlearn this, growing up like this I too still catch myself thinking about that sometimes e.g. when I hear someone's getting married. But I think it's sort of invalidating life when you only see this sort of "goal". People don't ask others "are you happy?" they ask "are you in a relationship yet", etc. when being on your own doesn't have to mean lonely. And it's super a super allo-centric view too. There are people that are ace and/or aro or demi and they're not unhappy. I think if people just pressure people less and don't ask invasive questions we would all have a more chill time together. Because I know people that don't really want to meet family anymore because it pulls them down psychologically to be pressured like that. And people don't even think they're pressuring others, because they're socialised to think asking these invasive questions is normal.
I admire Chris for being such a good sport about actually participating in a video like this. . .and I couldn't help but notice that he was glowing. You can tell he is happy-they both look that way. Congrats to Sharla and Chris!
Man that video of you eating bread must have been the greatest thing Chris had ever seen, not only did it inspire him to make youtube videos in Japan he also decided to marry the person who made the video.
He may not be the best at articulating his feelings (he's terrible at it actually) but I can see in the way he looks at her and his body language that he really really loves her. It's so cute to see. So excited for the wedding.
Can I just say, I really appreciate hearing you guys talk about not wanting children. My partner and I feel almost the exact same! And sometimes it can feel strange like, you’re all alone making this (seemingly) wild and strange decision. It’s nice to hear it spoken about openly!
I don't have a partner to consult with, but I'm firmly in the not wanting children category. I enjoy kids, and holding a baby as it does baby things is cool, but I like being able to go home without them. I also have moral objections given the state of the world about making someone live with the consequences of what I could have tried harder to fight against.
Whatever makes you happy, I am about to have my third child and I couldn’t imagine why life without them. I have married friends that don’t Holman on having kids and it works for them. To each their own.
How you guys got together is pretty much how me and my boyfriend got together. We were mates for ages, spent hours every day talking and playing games together, just really good friends who can chat about aaaaanything. Then one day we are sat watching something in my bedroom and my older brother walks in, doesn't even knock or anything, looks at us both chilling and says "so are you guys gonna go out already or what?" and then laughs and walks off.. We look at each other stunned like eh? is that an option? we literally just said "you wanna give it a go?" and yeh, its been 11 years :D He still makes me laugh everyday, its the best.
Oh god, hearing about Chris's attempts to throw you off the proposal just reminded me of Friends, except with more language 😂 I'm so glad you guys are so happy together.

Then I saw the announcement and I'm like *jaw dropped, head exploded* Happy for you two, and wish you both a successful and happy marriage ❤
Hi Sharla! I just saw your story on IG where you went through a grotesque comment about the lifestyle you chose for yourself. Even if most of us don't know you deeply, it is apparent that what you bring to us here is wholesomeness and an appreciation of life, and most of us appreciate the extent of what you share from your unique perspective in order to inform, entertain, and connect in general to us. There will always be a few closed-minded rotten apples who's out to bring down others for their twisted pleasures or misguided beliefs, but you chose to stand firm against it while being understanding. They're the ones projectiving naivete. I know you have experience dealing with a handful of these as someone with a large following, but sometimes it can still hurt. Stay strong. You and Chris are commendable human beings.
Just saw too, made me sick to read how vile some people can be and take time to post things like that to anyone. They look happy together and is all that counts and its their life, no one should meddle.
I hope karma gets to that person who talked to Sharla that way. I wish people wouldn’t push their narrow minded, old fashioned onto others. It’s so gross. Pretty much everyone loves Sharla. I hope she knows that.
@@AliceElricSama yep, jealousy at it's finest. Not to mention that Chris not wanting children isn't something new that he decided on when him and sharla began dating. I remember him mentioning this years ago. But then again, the person who made the comment must be very dissatisfied with themself, and probably felt the urge to Just spout a bunch of verbal bile everywhere to feel better. Too bad Sharla had to be the target of that. She's such a sweetheart.
I hate shipping, I think it's deeply inappropriate, but I always saw the friendship you two had as so fun and healthy. When Sharla said she was moving to Sendai, I knew you two were probably more than friends, and it warmed my cold dead heart 💜
@@nutrinogirl456 I’m not trying to be rude or anything , I’m genuinely curious. And maybe I’m just unclear on what the exact definition of shipping is . What’s the harm in saying something like “those two would be so cute together .” Or something along those lines. I agree it’s inappropriate to say something like “they should date!” Because it puts a weird pressure and might introduce some awkward feelings to the relationship. But I think two friends who are confident in their friendship, are probably able to handle somebody saying. “Oh are you two dating?” Or “you two are so cute together” from someone who doesn’t know all the details . Sorry I’m a little blazed and I type a lot when I’m high . TLDR in your opinion, are there limits to things you can say (in the context of shipping) , or is everything completely off limits?
I think if someone being shipped is affected, then at least a part of them is hoping for that relationship. I've been shipped countless times to multiple friends of both sexes & it never made me uncomfortable as I had 0 romantic attraction to them. Like even if they courted me for months, I knew it would be a no from the get-go.
@@Crybaby-Media especially with internet personalities, you don't know them. To try to throw romantic or sexual connotation to their relationship is overstepping. I'd argue it's weird to say "you'd be cute together" to friends too, but at least then it can potentially come from a place of knowing the nuance of the relationship. With celebs and influencers, you don't know the nuance to their relationship. Having to hear it over and over and over from people who don't know you that you'd be "so cute with (friend)", it's like this weird expectation that people can't have close, platonic relationships with the gender they're attracted to.
@@j134679 hard disagree. I hate being paired with another person by others, it's sexualizing me when I didn't ask to be. Even if it's an innocent "you'd be a cute couple," the next statement is almost always "you'd make cute babies." If I thought I'd be cute with another person, I'd make that call. Another person's opinion is unwarranted and unwanted.
I love how giggly and genuinely happy you both seem; warms my heart 🥰 thank you guys for sharing. I know parasocial shit can get weird, but I'm just so giddy to see 2 of my favorite creators so happy and supportive of each other. especially given everything the both of you have gone through.
The chemistry between both Chris and Sharla is undeniable! During a few distant episodes and over time I could tell there was something there, just didn't know if you both realized the attraction could be lifelong. Supporting each other is what you both do best and that in itself is the key to keeping the relationship strong.
My husband and I were friends first. Took me nine months to realize I had feelings beyond friendship for him. That was about 24 years ago. This year will be our 15th wedding anniversary. We also didn't really have a "this is when we started dating" date. We picked the day when we had The Talk about where our relationship is going. I'm so happy to see y'all together. It's so wonderful to see you both so happy!
From bread girl and telling pigeons to f**k off, to cursing at each other playfully in an adorable way. Seeing the two of you evolve has been fun and cute. Your relationship did seem like it just randomly morphed on its own and you two just went long with it like gravity. Keep evolving, you two!! ❤❤
As a 34 y.o. single person. This is inspiring ❤. Although, after seeing how you two became friends years ago at a youtube party. Now this... Chris, it's time to write that youtube RomCom short-film.
10 years ago I had dreams of living in Japan, and I watched both your channels. 30 years old now and life didn’t quite turn our like I planned BUT finally getting to visit Tokyo later this month. Thank you both for all your videos, letting us watch you throughout the years and get a glimpse in your lives. Congratulations and I hope you keep helping one another fulfill as many dreams as you can. ❤
Kids are a huge commitment. I'm so happy you guys are walking into it eyes wide open. They are wonderful, but they are life consuming, at least for the short-term and if you know you can't give a child what they need this is the decision to make. You'll be a wonderful Auntie and Uncle to any of kids in your life.
I think you've been in a genuine relationship for years even as friends. You've just had that chemistry, but didn't realize your relationship until more recently.
The friend strat is consistently at S-tier for finding suitable partners. Exposes any unwelcome or pleasant surprises or secrets. Easy way to establish rapport with the person. As someone who also doesn’t want children, it is extremely validating to hear other people openly say that they don’t want children and don’t really like them. I worry about being judged for not having an affinity for children and for not following the social norm and having kids, so I really appreciate you guys being so honest about it ❤️
I can say, as someone who never wanted children and never did, I am perfectly happy with the decision. I was also told by a spine doctor (I have a degenerative chronic spine condition) that be in my "best interest not be pregnant". Fine with me!
I never wanted children either, and then one day, it just happened. My children are definitely the best part of my life now and I thank the universe every day for that funny surprise.
I met my wife at work coming up to about 10-years ago now, we were friends for five years before eventually becoming a couple. That initial friendship laid down some firm foundations to build upon once we started dating. Good to see you both went through the same thing and best of luck to your future together.
Chris: "She swears a lot more" Me (a fellow Canuck): "That's cause she's Canadian." We are polite, but once you get to know us better, we swear.. a lot! Lol! This was fun to watch, and intresting to learn new things about you both.
I am so happy for you both. It’s so refreshing to hear people speak openly about a child free lifestyle, even though it does attract the crazies coming out in the comments and taking it personally. The obsession some people have about other people having children is at best obnoxious and at worst aggressive and deeply inappropriate.
Laughing so much at your stories - If you can upset Sharla that much one minute & she still says YES to marriage then its meant to be 😆I've literally never been happier to know that 2 people are a couple. I hope maybe we get lots of 'Sharla - Abroad' collaborations - Journey across Japan style! x

You're both wholesome so I don't think there is a single soul out there who's upset you're a couple, we've all been cheering and it's been obvious since the first journey across Japan! :D
I remember following both your videos when I was planning my trip to Japan in 2019. At the time i was 6 years single and gave up on love and when I came back reconnected with my childhood sweetheart and now we're getting married later this year in September. Now we're planning a trip to Japan for us next year! It makes me unbelievably happy the 2 of you have found each other and fell in love. This news makes me so happy!! ❤❤❤
Don't feel bad Chris, my husband had a similar experience with weather and unavoidable events interrupting his proposal. I was in on the general timing and we got to the very end of the trip we were on before I point blank asked him if he still wanted to get married or what. I swear he almost cried explaining the series of unfortunate events. He proposed the next morning right before we were meant to leave for our flight and the rest is history.
The best thing about becoming partners after friendship is that you know you are in a partnership, you can trust eachother 100%...on every level. So happy for you!
It’s so lovely to see two people so happy to build a life together, especially when it’s two people who are obviously perfect for each other. Cheers guys, and thanks for sharing your journey with all of us! ☀️
After seeing that horrible comment on your Instagram story, I just wanted to say how much of a role model you are. After many years of watching your videos, I absolutely love the content you produce as well as your happy, upbeat energy. I'm so happy that my two favorite TH-camrs have found each other. It's inspiring!
Chris' life flashing before his eyes at the cat question, and then the immediate look of relief when you said two cats is enough. 🤣 My husband and I had 4 at one point, and I agree that two is enough. We love each of them so much, but it was definitely chaotic!
Ain’t Sharla the coolest woman ever; she has Swedish qualities and “a matter of fact” personality - she’s a no fuss person and I find that so liberating and I think it’s time you start doing content more out of your personality ❤ And Chris; the forever grumpy gentleman with an fantastic sense of humour and self distancing- love you both 💞
I don't know why, because obviously I don't know you both personally; I must say that the fact that you are a couple puts a huge smile on my face and I'm glad you're happy together :) keep at it folks!
I don't know if you guys actually read these or not, but I had to write this. I have followed you both for so long. You give so much to the world and the community of viewers and Japanophiles and on top of that you bring so much joy and positivity as well. I have found so much assuage and comfort in your videos through the years and can not thank you enough for that alone. But knowing you two have found each other and fallen in love makes my heart swell with happiness. That alone is why I wanted to write but I also wanted to possibly send an offer. I know we are a world apart and you don't know me from Adam, but I have worked in weddings for over 14 years and know quite a bit about planning and such, as I am sure you are being swarmed with offers and comments galore, but if there is anything a wedding cinematographer from Chicago, IL can do to help, even if it's just advice or planning tips, I am happy to do so :) Congratulations to you both, to your friends and family as well. This is such a huge thing not only in your lives but also the worlds of the people you give to on a daily basis! We are so happy for you

I appreciate what you guys touched on throughout the video. Especially the topic of children. Overall, people even nowadays can't wrap their head around a happy couple that doesn't plan to raise kids and how you explained it was very well put ❤ It's so fun to see ya'll come together, you make such a cute couple ❤️
Sharla I just saw your Instagram post and I just want to say that pls ignore all the negative comments. Don't even consider reading them because honestly, these people are too hateful towards the world so they find TH-camrs to be easy targets. Lots of love to you guys.
As someone who's had 2 crazy cats for 11 years and is now a mother to a human toddler, I tell you, no matter how demanding your cats are, it doesn't remotely compare to how physically and mentally exausting it is to have a baby/toddler 😅 I just want 5 minutes to myself, please 😂 Definately I think it's something you should do only if you both really want it!
Yes, I have 3 kids and honestly have no time for my 3 cats anymore because they're so self sufficient compared to kids. I pet them at night to make sure they get some attention though. My kids also don't really sleep well until they're older. There is no way to prepare for the absolute exhaustion that comes from years of being woken up every few hours at night. Thankfully now it's only one or twice a night since my youngest is 1.5 years old.
Yes, and with cats you can, like, leave. You have to take your children with you 😅 I will say I call my cats my babies, but my human children are the reason for my white hairs.
I’m really impressed by this relationship. You truly seem to connect intellectually and respect each other. looking forward to more videos together and from both of your channels!
I literally just found you but I watched many videos now. You guys are awesome. And hearing about your Hungarian background Sharla, that just made me so happy. I know you said you wanted to learn hungarian but I did not expect the reason to be this. I'm from Hungary, living in Scotland. So if you need someone to teach you, I'm here 😁😁😁
Adorable Q&A. I had fortune teller vibes from the Journey Across Japan series too (and Im British, so I got the “Friend” jibe in the frenemy context that was intended). Chris has been the boy pulling at Sharla’s pigtails to get her attention for a looong time! The robot definitely needs to be the ring bearer at the wedding.
My husband and I were friends before we ever started dating. We've been married 13 years, I highly recommend being friends first. You guys are adorable and the fact that you saw him on TV on Robot Wars is hilarious. On another note, I've been watching your videos since the way back days, you are the reason I'm so interested in visiting Japan and it's why I'm finally going to check it off my bucket list at the end of March!!
Many congratulations on your new chapter!! You should look into going to New Zealand for your honeymoon.. beautiful beaches and stunning mountains.. tons of opportunities for riding bikes and adventure stuff... or you can hang out at a winery all day :) bonus...great food options for Sharla! I've never been but it's on my bucket list! Also, it's not my business, but really thinking about children the way you do as a serious decision.....already makes you great potential parents :3
Our 33rd anniversary is this year, friends first is a good basis for a long solid relationship IMO, you get to see each others best and worst moments over a good length of time. It’s cute to see Chris blush and go coy when he thinks about the change from friends to dating. My wife is obsessed with True Crime TH-cam channels too. Apparently it’s a woman thing. 🤷🏻♂️ Pendulum is a great choice, I listen to it when riding my motorbike or driving.
I've been with my boyfriend for over 11 years now and I've watched both of you through that time. We're now preparing to go on our own adventure, first to Mexico, then to Japan this year. You both played a major role in inspiring that. Thank you for all you contribute. ❤️
'It's a nice face innit?' Ah yes, classic British flirting. The flashbacks to Chris talking about Sharla's videos way back when were so funny I was losing my mind laughing! I feel like this was a really lowkey video, no music and just the same background, but you guys have such an amazing chemistry that you're hilarious and entertaining and so much fun to watch even when you aren't on a crazy trip together or anything like that. Love watching you guys together so much
I remember when I was waiting for you to get Maro back home, and now you have a man you're going to marry. I couldn't be happier for you both. All I have to say is humor is the spice of life, and I wouldn't be married and be with my husband for as long as I have been without it. I'm so happy you have that, and you deserve it after the health scare you went through! Congrats!
Rain on the wedding day is a good sign. I suppose it could be on the proposal too. It's weird watching Abroad in Japan and Sharmeleon knowing we have mutual friends in Japan. This was cute to watch and listen to. How you guys went from friends to partners was similar to how my husband and I started out. I really love that people are being more open that having children is not for them - my husband and I have to deal with people pushing that we will change our minds and it's been 8 years and no change in our minds. It's not a lifestyle for everyone.
Sharla is so right telling someone that you like them first is so hard before dating that's why I'm still single I missed out on so many chances on telling a guy I like them because I'm scared, I'm so happy you guys are together love you ❤️❤️❤️
I have been married to a snoring man for 20 years! Here is my unsolicited advice. Invest in a spare bed in a different room. Sometimes I can sleep through hubby's snoring. When I can't, I go sleep in the other room and get a good night's sleep. I'm convinced it's the only reason we're still together all these years later. Without proper sleep I either would have broken up with him or smothered him in his sleep long ago. 🤣
Used to watch both of these channels way back. I feel like at least 10 years ago when I was obsessed with Japan and didn't start adulting yet. Coming back now and seeing they ended up together is crazy to me. Congrats
This was a fun treat. Watching your friendship since "way back when" has always been a delight. It's great that the foundation of that strong friendship bond has developed into something so much stronger and deeper. You guys rock.
Joyful. That's how I felt watching this video. It's silly I suppose for a middle-aged GenXr such as myself. But I've been watching you both for over 10 years. This is like a major milestone in my own TH-cam journey of sorts. Looking forward to what you both cook up next. I know it'll be great no matter what it is.
The socks and the snoring! I feel your pain. And now I have to unball all the socks when my husband takes them off the toddler too. My other kids don't do this so why can't a grown man learn? But honestly, if that's the worst thing in your relationship then you've found your person. Congrats! Looking forward to watching you two for many years to come. It's nice to live vicariously through your travel videos, because the thought of dragging 3 small kids along to travel with me makes me just curl up in front of the TV with some chocolate.

How could Chris not have fallen for Sharla´s Premium face? 🥰

I was literally shouting at this video as they were telling the story "CHRIS PULLED A FUCKING CHANDLER?!"
Hahaha that’s what I also thought about while watching the vid hahahahaha
All of my girlfriends were friends first. I knew Terry was special within hours of meeting her. I knew I wanted to marry her during our 4th date. I didn't believe she'd ever agree to marry me, so it took years to propose. I lost Terry to cancer in 2015. I was a very lucky man to have her in my life.
I’m so sorry for your loss, but that was beautiful too.

What a beautiful story. How amazing it is to fall in love, even if loss comes with it. It’s so amazing how you got to spend the last years of her life surrounded by love. I’ll tell my family I love them today ❤

This is wild. I started watching you both at about the same time over 10 years ago. It's so interesting watching y'all grow up, get married

SAME!
Ever since I saw them together on that "Cycle across Japan" episode with the rollercoaster ride, where Sharla was dropping F-bombs at Chris I believed they were made for each other.
Same for me. It’s so odd to have started watching them both when they didn’t even know each other and now this. I absolutely love it!
🙌
@@kaitlynwalters9086 I've known I haven't wanted kids since I was probably under 10 lol!

Exactly! We feel the same way and it always feels like a very unconventional decision. Good to hear people speak about it. :)
My husband and I have been happily married for 8 years, no kids and don't want em. :)
As part of the Hippy Generation, "Childless by Choice" is a real thing and we chose it too.

Chris deserves a happy relationship!
He has brought so much happiness with his AbroadinJapan videos🥰
How you guys got together is pretty much how me and my boyfriend got together. We were mates for ages, spent hours every day talking and playing games together, just really good friends who can chat about aaaaanything. Then one day we are sat watching something in my bedroom and my older brother walks in, doesn't even knock or anything, looks at us both chilling and says "so are you guys gonna go out already or what?" and then laughs and walks off.. We look at each other stunned like eh? is that an option? we literally just said "you wanna give it a go?" and yeh, its been 11 years :D He still makes me laugh everyday, its the best.

Then I saw the announcement and I'm like *jaw dropped, head exploded*

People that have the need to criticize others’ personal choices need to really back off! What a pity human being to attack another like this.
That comment made me laugh so hard. "Liver spotted hands"? Lmao! Jealousy at its finest.
25:53 The look on Sharla's face after Chris said the rather awkward "Stuff happened" is an image I will treasure for eternity.
not only that but the fact she decided to leave it in XD

I hate shipping, I think it's deeply inappropriate, but I always saw the friendship you two had as so fun and healthy. When Sharla said she was moving to Sendai, I knew you two were probably more than friends, and it warmed my cold dead heart 💜
only fictional shipping is a good ship!
Another person's opinion is unwarranted and unwanted.

the fact that Sharla basically "knew" Chris since robot wars and they ended up together is pure insanity, this is such a awesome coincidence.
The chemistry between both Chris and Sharla is undeniable! During a few distant episodes and over time I could tell there was something there, just didn't know if you both realized the attraction could be lifelong.

We have been married the last 6 (this coming June) I think the best relationships last when they've been friends first. Congratulations & thank you for sharing ❤ I'm so happy for you both.
This was cute to watch and listen to. How you guys went from friends to partners was similar to how my husband and I started out. The snoring thing is forever annoying, invest in sound reducing or cancelling ear plugs, I did. I really wish you guys a long and beautiful future together. I can tell how happy and comfortable you are with each other and it's just so sweet. Thank you both for the fun video!
How to use a British tap
1.Put plug in the basin drain
2.Put hot water into basin
3.Test water temperature
4.Add cold water and repeat step 3 until the temperature is acceptable
5.Put your hands in the sink to wash them and whatever else needs to be done.
6.Take out drain plug
I honestly think it’s epic that two of my favorite TH-camrs ended up together.💕
I'm so happy for you two! ❤️
Thank you for indulging your fans 😁
I really love that people are being more open that having children is not for them - my husband and I have to deal with people pushing that we will change our minds and it's been 8 years and no change in our minds. It's not a lifestyle for everyone.
Totally agree. I've never wanted any I have very few maternal instincts :)
😂👌🏻👌🏻
It's alright Sharla, after nearly 10 yrs now I take my husband's snoring as a sign of life 😂 you will (hopefully) get used to it.
Congratulations again to you both 🎉😊🎊
A sign of a life hahahaha love it
LMAO okay that’s funny! 😂
I had the opposite, my wife's sleep apnoea was so bad that she would stop breathing with terrifying regularity! The minute she got a CPAP machine was the minute I could sleep with any degree of peace lol.
Happened onto the two of you together when you were going cross country 1. Always thought you should be together, but truly thought you were just friends. It was a delight hearing this response to questions. Looking forward to updates as you move forward.
Thanks for filling in all those blanks.
Most affable couple in the game!
I oddly feel better about humanity after watching this. Congrats and and hope your future together is everything you both want. ❤️
8:33-11:03 "despite everything going wrong" AHAHAH oh god so happy everything worked out I do feel bad the misdirection led to Sharla crying for hours that's never fun 😭
20:18-20:56 "like a 1980s stock trader" oh god "bread girl" was one thing but that just took me out 😂
thank you for sharing this first/last q&a with your audience!! good to hear from both of you and have some laughs over y'alls humor
Dude it was only you that didn't see it coming, we all could see it coming from a mile away.
Every time Sharmeleon was in your videos you would flare up.
Happy for you two
I’m a child free woman as well and I’m coming here directly from your Instagram story. Absolutely disgusted that people criticize you and Chris for your choice. I love you guys and have followed you both since both your channels started and seeing your friendship blossom into love and watch your lives grow separately and now together is a beautiful thing. I’m so happy for both you ♥️
Im always surprised people still get mad at people for this choice. It's weird.
