    Trevor! I have to ask:
Having one episode that is showing the life of one of the street vendors in the different areas would be cool. Different testimonies and stories. Just a thought, this content is great and doesn't need changing at all, but I want to know some of these people as well as the love or necessity that goes into preparing their food.

"kokorec" is a Greek dish, called "Kokoretsi". The Turkish word kokoreç was first attested in Lokanta Esrarı; a short story written in 1920 by the Turkish author Omer Seyfettin. The dish exists in Greek cuisine at least since the ages of Medival Greece (5th - 6th century) and it was very popular in the Byzantine Empire. Just for the history.

You read my mind. If there is one place at the top of my list to visit next it is Mexico. The food there is amazing with incredible variation, and there are 100s of dishes that I have never tried. There is definitely a similarity with Turkish food (thin breads, rice, beans, vegetables, spices), but that can only be a good thing. Salute ✌🏼🕊️

It's all about the customer base and profit. In Turkey if you try sell that fake mince döner and shawarma on the streets locals just won't come as there are so many more authentic options using real cuts of meat. In Europe and the West you can get away with it very easily because people are none the wiser, don't really care all that much and are still willing to pay premium.
