How To: Nam pla wan | Thai style fruit dip

- NAM PLA WAN (Thai style fruit dip)
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup water
16 oz Palm sugar
1/2 cup fermented fish sauce (padeak)
2 tbsp shrimp paste
1 tbsp Msg
1 tbsp chili powder
1/4 cup toasted rice powder
1/3 cup shallot, sliced
1/2 cup small dried shrimps
1/4 cup medium size dried shrimps
12 thai chilies, chopped
Serve with sour fruits, such as mangoes, gauva and green apples. Enjoy! 😊

what is toasted rice powder?
@@kimthuan6036 it’s Jasmine rice toasted in a pan to a like brown color and grind to a powder.

what's 1 tbsp "Msg"?
Msg ( Monosodium glutamate ) it's a flavor enhancer. If you don't use it you can leave it out.
That just look so good with just anything. Not just with fruit.

Its sweet rice, toast until brown then grind in a blender.
