Thai chili paste is a highly versatile ingredient that can add a spicy kick to any dish. Thank you for sharing the recipe and tutorial, it was very helpful.❗
You're very welcome, it is indeed a highly versatile ingredient. Today, we'll be adding it to Tom yum to make Tom yum nam kon, video should be posted on Tuesday.
You're pretty hardcore for frying all that chilli without coughing your head off, no small feat! I love Nottinghill carnival, brilliant atmosphere 🤗 I've been eating laoganma for a long time, I'm going to try this 👍
Our extractor does a bang up job lol, but to be honest it's usually when doing the dry frying that it really sticks in your craw. Carnival is amazing but not so much for local restaurants, lots of roads closed so difficult for our customers to get to us.
I think that this chili paste would take soup or grilled seafood to another level ! Definitely going to try it, but I will use clam juice instead of fish sauce to cut down on the salt.
I bet that paste would be really good stir fried with some noodles, reminds me of the Chinese "Spicy Szechuan Noodles" that's hugely popular here in the US. I haven't been to any Thai restaurants here that serves it that way though.
Ive made your chilli oil two times now and I love it. You got me thinking now and I wonder if i can get away with frying up a little shrimp paste and adding it to a small jar of chilli oil to make this, provided i add all the new ingredients in of course
This unbelievable seasoning is wow . After I became a person of chili's to get off lots of weight I bought every jar I could and the next shipment it's expensive to buy everything to make but I add it by a 1/2 teaspoons to rice 1 teaspoon to bowl of noodles I add to stir fry food's, cabbage or bok cho soup. It's different it has a crunch . The flavor is a new must but like I said it's a fast weight loss to my health. Sh sh don't tell the secret.
Wow!! That look amazing. Can you please show us how to make steam toddy palm cake? One of my favorite childhood cake but I can never them in U.S. thank you 😊
Yeah I also don't know how to make it, but I know that it's quite complicated and some ingredients are difficult to find in the UK. My sister in Baangpong can make it, we should be going back in December we'll do a video with her showing how to make it.
Just brilliant Can I kindly ask what brands of shrimp paste Tamarind sauce and Dried shrimp you use please? It just gets really confusing when shopping for these ingredients as there are loads on the shelf ❤
The dried shrimp didn't have a particular brand, the tamarind pulp that we used was Sujeera brand, the shrimp paste was pantainorasingh brand. Thanks for watching.
I love Thai spices. They are not too hot for me and they do not bother my stomach, but they make me sweat like I'm running track. I feel like Elvis Presley, because I have to have a little cloth to mop my face while I eat Thai food haha
Came here to see how Thai Chilli Paste is made so I can make my own for Tom Yum. Spent the whole time up until this point watching the video thinking “what’s she gonna do with the oil, it’s so full of flavour?”. Then she says she’ll save the oil to fry the ingredients next time. Nice.
add more of the tamarind, coconut sugar and fish sauce to dilute the effect of the chilli, bare in mind this is added as a condiment to the side of your plate so would be eaten with rice and whatever else you're eating
Constructive criticism here, at the end of the video when tasting, you have videos that just show your upper body and then you have this where you just see the meal, but it would be good to see both that way we can see your expressions and also the lovely food
This person is a G Much respect the family 9:58 I wish I could eat shrimp I can tell they went through all the processes because of the cough aghem Cough Cough Like the video if you love spice and the cough from cooking it! Aghem

Why don't you let us see your face enjoying it? It makes the video more engaging.😛🤗
hahaahhaa maybe next time, too many viewers calling me creepy lol
Constructive criticism here, at the end of the video when tasting, you have videos that just show your upper body and then you have this where you just see the meal, but it would be good to see both that way we can see your expressions and also the lovely food
Yeah we had a few viewers recommending this and so the last few videos have taken this onboard, main reason is we didn't want to show our ugly mugs.

You guys dont mention how much oil you use
Common sense dumbass look at the video smhhh people i swear 🤣
You don't throw salt
Needed to be over rice. Then the oil would have made it perfect.
Why are you showing Kigali, Kilimanjaro and Mombasa
sorry?
Verbal diarrhoea much
that is not a tabspoon
It’s a spoon table
Maybe not have the microphone so close we can hear you chewing
Maybe make your own videos 🙂
