Nah, most of these devs teams are filled with DEI hires. All the talent got replaced and forced into the indie scene or left the industrie entirely.
10 years of DEI hiring and people wonder why most games are shit. When your entire bloated dev team has no gamers in it and no passion then you can't really expect them to make a great game, sure the graphics are neat but i personaly prefer stylised over realism and gameplay first.
Many of the people in said companys already have a desire to push their agenda but they need to go a step further and hire consultant firms like SBI
to ruin their game (changing characters, chaning story beats) in order to boost the companies ESG score even further.

I left a comment a while back on a video (I think IGN) when the game was first announced saying "This looks like 'DEI: The Game'. They designed the only white male character with a t-shirt and some random pads while all the other characters have cool swag, even the fat ones. They also made him one of the shortest characters." This is the first I'm seeing the pronoun thing and it looks like I was spot on. The people making the game had a very clear agenda in mind, and I hope they find their audience, but it looks like that audience is *extremely* small. I hope they're happy

That's what I believe, honestly. There would be no problems if this was an indie game, a passion project meant for this audience. But it's not: it's a multi-million dollar AAA project that needs to make bank to be successful.

I guess ill share my thoughts and how I see games currently, honestly for me I see games as a way to enjoy and have fun.. just because people put on so much effort on a great trailer doesnt mean the gameplay might just be as good, and I can respect that.. but I guess it also matters if youre paying for game in Beta , sure its in Beta sure it still has bugs and its will surely be fixed but, have we not learned so far? Not all games in beta turns out good in the end, sometimes right from the start its just not worth the investment, and I hope I wont offend anyone but, the fact that we pay for such games is a way for companies to make more games that are just as bad, sure they will release good and bad ones but.. we really shouldnt throw away money out of the blue , but ofcourse its your money and I respect that, but its also the start of just another game that isnt for everyone and the cycle continues..
In the end although I have respect for the companies that make the games, its just that not all games that comes out are good , and I just hope we the players research and wait for games to be much more polished before deciding wether it is a good game or a bad game.. and again.. not all games are for everyone

I really don’t understand why Sony thought it was a good idea to release this game with a $40 price tag and a beta just a month before release, when all the other games that Concord takes inspiration from and competes against (Overwatch, Apex, Destiny, TF2 and Valorant) are all free to play and do everything Concord does but better because they had several months of beta testing before release
