Cubes are the only way to go and I use a foldable hamper

Hi guys :) i was reading an article today on cruise critic that said you're not allowed to hang anything from the roof on a cruise ship. Not sure if the cabin stewards really enforce that very much, but it's a rule i didnt know. The cruise line (think it was carnival) said if you have medical equipment, say a cpap machine that you can get permission to hang the cord from the power point along the ceiling to the bed. But unless it's something like that for medical reasons then they won't allow it. I had never heard that before as see in heaps of videos people hanging things from the ceiling
Hey, no I haven't heard of this before either and the cabin stewards didn't have an issue with it in our experience so far, but something to keep in mind I guess for future cruises.

Hey, it's from W Lane such a comfy dress. I only got it a few months ago so it could be still around.
I would not be able to fit all of my clothes in packing cubes, they are tiny. I am a big overpacker, took 14 dresses on our 5 night virgin voyages cruise (2 nights pre stay in Melbourne too). Plus all my other clothes so i could never fit them. I've, on our last 2 cruises, started Rolling my clothes, i used to always lay them out in the suitcase or fold them. But im fitting so much more in my suitcase doing it this way ❤️
I am also a roller, that is how I pack for all our trips and has worked well but some people swear by the cubes so I will try it at some point to see what we think.
