Ordered my 2021 XLT f150 last October 2020 without test driving because they weren’t out yet and traded my 2018 f150, I just got my 2021 f150 early this February 2021 and was I pleasantly impressed, the ride quality was night and day much quieter the seats are much more comfortable and the materials fit and finish are top notch.Ford really stepped up, great job.
We bought a 2020xlt 302a last year and somehow we didn't notice the truck came without reverse sensors. I didn't mind so much but my wife is kinda short and can't see as well so that was a bummer. I couldn't figure out how those sensors are not standard in 2020 but the big reverse camera is lol.
@@JVette01 thanks for that, yeah I will have to go check it out on the lot. If any doubt, the 2021 does look sharp in black with the sport package. Any idea if you can switch out that reddish accent color in the interior doors and dash with the grey/black like in the chrome package? after market somehow?
I think that the 2018-2020 xlt chrome are the best looking of all the f150s I also think that the super cabs look much much better than the crew cabs (I think that all 4 door trucks and cars are butt ugly). Oh and a 6 1/2 foot bed looks best
The reason I asked is because you’re commenting on a F150 video... but anyway, it’s going great so far. Will have a video out when everything is completed.
@@JVette01 No, I actually got the 5.0 V8. STX 4x4 4 door super crew cab. It was sticker 49,000$ and I paid 44,000$. I wanted a XLT and those were 58,000$ sticker and roughly 54,000$ what they sell it for. So those prices you have on those XLT are great prices. I actually checked 3 dealerships too. Theres a shortage of trucks right now
Oh wow. Are you in Canada or just have a fully optioned STX? You are correct about the shortage of trucks. We only have 1 non-fleet F150 on the lot currently :(
@@JVette01 I'm from Ohio. I don't think it's fully loaded. There's no rear window sliding window or anything. Only luxury it has compared to my 2014 stx I traded in. Is this stx has 8" screen, back up camera and sensors. Sync 4 package. Bed liner, weather tech mats, plastic wheel liners all came with it new. Carpet floor. The center console it has . Not sure if that's fully loaded lol. Cloth seats with those like stripes on them. Tinted windows in back.
Here in Vegas, if you’re not off-roading, you don’t need it. Better gas mileage, less weight, less stuff to go wrong. Also, since these are XLT’s, you don’t have 4A, so it’s not like you can use it in the rain. You have to be off road or something. I’d still get 4x4 though.
Other reason is better tow capacity. If its for hauling the camper and you dont drive it that much in the winter or live in a warm weather state then why not?

100%. Glad you’re enjoying your new truck!
How much did u get for ur trade?
I have a 2020 XLT and I laughed every time you giggled when you gave it some throttle. 😅 I do the same thing. 😂
The torque is big fun 😂
Older gen front grill looks better. Every thing else 2021
Still waiting on that 3.3L review!! :)
Still don’t have one yet lol I wish we’d order at least 1
Yes the 2021 f 150 comes with real vents on all trucks
Thanks for letting me know!
@@JVette01 also I like hearing the road noise and planes on the outside when reviewing gives it that nice feeling. So don’t worry
Haha thanks. The planes are always in my videos 😂
@@JVette01 yeah I actually like the sound of the freeway. LOL
Keeping my '18. Too much fancy shit to break after warranty
Base models trucks are still pretty bare bones.
@@JVette01 ya but need some LEDs lol
Thankfully it’s an F-150 and there’s a huge aftermarket
@@JVette01 Still pretty unaffordable and I make 28 a hour with unlimited OT too. Shit world lol need 20k down just to get to 550 a month
Everyone is in different financial situation in life. If they were actually unaffordable, then it wouldn’t be the best selling vehicle in the US lol.

On the trucks, there are a lot of a la carte options haha
Rims have to be at least 20in and funky. So far most of the rims are horrible and 17 in. Don’t go backwards Ford.
The rim size in both of these trucks was 18".
What do you think about the magnetic vs carbonized grey? I have a 2020 lariat magnetic and love the color, not sure about the new grey?
I like magnetic a little better but carbonized gray is ok. I have a video comparing them.

I’m not sure on that one.
The window stickers are switched** first is 2021
Yeah I know, that’s why I changed the description. Such a dumb mistake lol
Funny, my ‘20 302a has remote start. The 21 is nice, but not worth the money.
The ‘21 is like 1k more for the same spec.
Sure, but the rebates/discounts arent there and have you looked at the financing options. Shewwwwww, no thanks.
Oh I see what you’re saying. Id just wait til they have big discounts on a 2021 to buy

Did the 21 have the B&O or just standard?
This one had the standard. B&O is an option though.
@@JVette01 thanks, my order has the B&O for the XLT, hoping its a good upgrade
It’s definitely better. I like that you can chose to have “surround sound” too.
How is your e tuning?
Are you talking about on my Mustang or..?
@@JVette01 Did you tune something else beside your ecoboost?
Nope. Just my EcoBoost.

i paid those sticker prices for a 2021 stx lol
You probably got the 3.5 EB with 4x4. Even STX can get up there! Haha

Oh ok. Cool truck though!
brand new truck with dead battery....American "quality" indeed -although this truck is probably built in Mexico
Or someone left one of accessories on… lmao

Yeah ik 😂
Personaly think its a downgrade 20 looks better then 21 looks ugly
In this trim, the 20 looks a little better, but if you get the right spec, the 21 is 👌
I’m just wondering why would anyone buy a truck that is 2wd?

Better yet why would anyone buy a 4WD if they didn't live in snow country?
