I def get your disappointment but the genuine surprise felt when you turned that card over was actually neat to experience. Really caught me off guard lol, especially after the build up with how pristine it looked.

I liked this video a lot, because I used to love Yu-Gi-Oh! when I was younger, but then I played competitive when I got older and it felt like nobody cared about the more unique cards. This video helped me realize that I can enjoy the act of collecting even if I don't enjoy playing anymore. Awesome opening, and I guess pulling that Summoned Skull on that Blue Eyes tin was just bad luck (I kinda like Summoned Skull a bit more though).

I was very surprised to see the original art Dark Magician come out of that tin. I was always under the impression the LOB alter art DM was the only original tin DM, I think, because that's what I pulled when I was younger after opening both.

First off Grats on the 30k subs man, like good job. Second Haevnt watched the video yet, looking forward to it as I said in previous video comments, my first ever tin was the Lord of D tin. Third, Im guessing around mabey 5-6 holos but thats me being optimistic cause we know how bad old pack ratio's were.
The artworks for the 2002 tins were not my favorite to be honest I loved the 2003 tin looks. Though again Id have to go with my first for the actual artwork for 2002 and that would be Lord of D with XYZ or DM being my favorite artworks of the 2003 set.
Dang this brings back memories, I remember back in the day I had a few tins Both the Yugi starter and structure Deck Kaiba starter and structure decks I had a tin with Joey Another with pegasus One from GX that had the vampire genises deck and red eyes darknesss Deck God I miss being a kid and being so hyped to pop the top off those tins and being hit with that fresh card smell and exploring all the cards that come inside

I loved the color, feeling, and how nice it felt to hold a holographic dark magician and blue eyes in my hands, felt like kaiba and yugi, helped with my confidence funny enough 😂
I remember the Dark Paladin Japanese tin being older than these. Or maybe around the same time. I just remember that being the only tin I ever saw at my old local card shop until these came in.
I remember how awesome these were when I first saw them. I had no internet so I had no idea these were coming. I remember how awesome it was to think I'd get the (then) hard to get Red Eyes and B. Skull Dragon. I forget what I pulled from them besides maybe a Flame Swordsman or if any of it was worth getting most of the others. In hindsight, the stuff like Lord of D. or Summoned Skull were definitely lame from my POV but this is still a huge nostalgia bomb. I do know I never got nearly this good a pull from the tins on any given year. They were actually pretty unlucky for me on the whole.

The blend between ole and new was the best. Invasion of chaos and legacy of darkness. There weren’t just vanilla monsters. There were a lot of effects but everything wasn’t waaaay over powered.
Been loving the old school openings these past few weeks Rux! I've stopped playing around 2005 so these tins were definitely a great blast from the past! The few Harpie Lady commons you pulled are all worth like $5 I think because they're all "original 👀" haha. Also, since all these tin cards are like 2002/2003 stuff, a bunch of commons you pulled from all your tin videos were short prints but since they're unlimited it's hard to argue with somebody that they're not pulled from legacy packs - it's why I despise what Konami did when they decided to make all these legacy packs available in Walmart/Target these 3-4 years. I know you already did an original vs reprints video but I would love to see you do another one for a future video idea since you have such a wide availability of original and reprint cards and I think it will be very helpful for the collecting community as well as new players who may be looking for nostalgic cards. i.e. For something like Monster Reborn/Gaia The Dragon Champion: 1st edition LOB vs Unlimited ORIGINAL vs Unlimited REPRINT Card. One of the main reasons I ask is because I know in many cases Unlimited Originals vs the Reprints have coloring variations but I don't possess the physical copies of the cards to verify this myself. As always, keep up the great work man!

I always remember Maha Vailo to have something going on with the attack. I specifically remember... Unless it's a Mandela Effect (Quick Effect): Whenever I would see a Maha Vailo the 50 on the tail end of 1550 ATK would always be raised than everything else in the ATK & Def zone of the card.
Upper Deck era was unpredictable about get foils. Really hard to pull some foil! ☘ I guess for you and your lucky pulling 6 foils! At least! 🔥 Congrats and Thumbs up! =)

One of the main reasons I ask is because I know in many cases Unlimited Originals vs the Reprints have coloring variations but I don't possess the physical copies of the cards to verify this myself.

I used to have the Red Eyes, two Lord of D, and Dark Magician tins. My Red Eyes tin I pulled a Red Skull Dragon in the pack! Sadly, like a fool, I got rid of my cards several years ago… 🥴

I always remember Maha Vailo to have something going on with the attack.
I specifically remember... Unless it's a Mandela Effect (Quick Effect): Whenever I would see a Maha Vailo the 50 on the tail end of 1550 ATK would always be raised than everything else in the ATK & Def zone of the card.

man i got into yugioh right before GX started, i remember i had that joey green tin, i remember having armed dragon lvl 3, and somehow from some random pack i had blue eyes once.
Omg that summon skull in the blue eyes tin😂😂 wtf!! Always wanted to pull a Black Skull Dragon, or the thousand dragon secret rare. Sick! Amazing pulls!
Remember seeing these on store shelfs back then. Now that I’m older they are still expensive cause of collectors.
