Love these tins, wish I could go back in time to when the shelves were packed with these at stores.
I miss these tins. I remember that my brother and I would always get one of them for Christmas, open them all and do trades right there on Christmas morning. They were also great to have for storage all our bulk cards.
I remember buying so many Blade Knight tins when they came out. The hype around that card was real. Plus, the tins were $20 and with 5 packs that were $4 each, it was good value too.
Plus, the packs were always fire. Getting 2-3 foils from the 5 packs was not uncommon.
yeah the saying on the playground was don't waste your money on loose packs, save up for the tins.

I went on holiday to the US and bought the zombie madness structure deck and about 5 tins. I had to scrounge for pennys to get that last tin. I had so much fun opening these packs, it was like losing my virginity for the first time. I had huge bragging rights when I got back home because my country was like a year behind so we only recieved these tins a few months later. They were also about 4 times more expensive, yup basically 80$ a tin. I still have my tins and most the cards, my main playing deck was borrowed to a friend and I never got it back.
I think Blade Knight is probably my favorite promo thanks to Speed Duels, but man I'd love to open some old packs at some point, it seems like a ton of fun!

The nostalgia opening these classic tins brings back so many memories of opening these when I was a kid. You should get more if you can find any and sell them on your store.
Insect Queen promo was my favourite as I loved Weevil Underwood in the OG anime. It was really nice seeing the tins I had as a kid being opened. Really love the content here!
Grew up in a really rural area in Scotland so we never had these tins, nearest place that sold any cards was 100 miles away. Wish I had these tins when I was younger - love the secret Obnoxious Guard!

I live in Canada and there was a Scottish kid in my elementary school who was obsessed with the Obnoxious Celtic Guard card and built a deck around it. I told him it wasn't good and he was always super intense about it and eventually challenged me to a duel for decks to settle the score. We dueled at lunch and I won and took his deck. He cried his eyes out and called his mom, who went to the principal. I got called into the office and they forced me to give him his deck back, and Yugioh was banned from the school after that. Good times.

Insect Queen looks awesome, it's actually one of the first cards I acquired when I started to collect again. Too bad it's garbage in an actual duel 🙄

I guess my Favorite Tins out of the 2004 Tins are:
1. Command Knight (i love that Purple on the tin and i always Liker her design, she was Actually one of my Favorite Cards as a kid! I actually think about buying a Command Knight Tin for my Collection just for the Nostalgia)
2. Blade Knight (Classic Kaiba Card, who doesn't love it)
3. Insect Queen (like you said, she is a Fanfavorite)
4. Celtic Guardian (another Classic who gets too much Overshadowed by other Yugi cards)
5. Gaia (another Classic but i was never the biggest Gaia fan)
6. Shogun (i don't have ANY memories of this guy to be honest)
And yes, i would love to see you opening the 2006 tins!
My favorite tin was the Insect Queen tin. So much nostalgia. I remember begging my mom for that. 😂😂😂
When I was a kid AND IF I WAS LUCKY the best things I might get are starter decks from the flea market because according to mom 50 cards for $15 is better than buying small packs or tin cans.

I remember opening these tins. They were some of my favorites. Especially the Obnoxious Celtic Guard and Blade Knight tins. I think you'll get about 7 holo's aside from the promos.

Insect Queen has gotta be my favourite of the tins. There's just something so cool about it. The anime made it seem so threatening and that luminous green background is really awesome. DMOC is obviously my favourite pull

Why do old Yugioh products looks so much better, much detailed and they look like Konami put their heart and soul into the older products while the new ones all feel eh....

Wow what an amazing video!! I'd say that Insect Queen is my favorite of these. I still have my original 3 from the tins I bought. And the pulls from this were such fire. Breaker is one I've been waiting to see pulled and being from a tin opening was even better. Thanks Ruxin for sacrificing your bank account for us as always. This channel seriously keeps giving me the biggest nostalgia bombs. I loved my Total Defense Shogun, I think it was the only tin I ever had as a kid.
You're the reason I've decided to get back into collecting Yu-Gi-Oh, I opened all of these tins back when they came out, and the tins that came before them, I collected from the original print run of LOB up to the end of GX and then ended up selling everything because I had a tough time for money.. I'm still not exactly rich or anything but even being able to put a little bit into collecting again every now and then is filling me with nostalgia and the hype of opening packs. This time I'm treating everything with care, double sleeving anything that goes into my collection binders and it's just a rush, I can't afford anything like this these days but even so - Thanks for getting me back into collecting
My favorite promo is Blade Knight of course but I actually like Command Knight, it was in every deck with just Warriors and equips to power up them. Great pulls overall, can't choose among the three ultras, the secret and Reaper on the Nightmare. It's just awesome to see opening these tins, I coulnd't to that when I was younger so it's great to see it now
So much nostalgia in this opening, not many holos but reverse foil lava golem Is sick. Also a playset of metamorphosis from pgd Is Pretty sick as well!
my fav has to be insect queen, as you said has a nice green color to it and I was freaked out by the card in Haga's deck in the anime.

This opening is really insane, so much nostalgia involved. My favorite tin is probably the Obnoxious Celtic Guardian one, i really like the artwork for the card.
the only tin i actually have any experience in opening was the insect queen tin. i remember back when i was a kid, and i was having a birthday party, and 1 of my friends who i invited, only the 2 of us were into yugioh and stuff, and sometimes get teased at school, but he bought me that tin anyways for my birthday, and i know most of the other kids werent nearly as excited about that, as they were about the new video game i got from my parents. but I was SUPER stoked to open it. before that i had never gotten to open more than 1 or 2 packs at a time that i would buy when i had a couple bucks from cutting the lawn or something. so opening that tin was so memorable to me! i didnt really pull anything AMAZING but even having the insect queen cover card was still awesome to me!
These tins we’re definitely my favorite growing up! Had total defense shogun, Blade Knight, and Command Knight. Blade Knight for my GOAT chaos warrior deck but Total Defense Shogun art is my favorite
My favorite (and the only 2004 tins I have), are Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight and the Obnoxious Celtic Guardian that I just rediscovered and ‘unearthed’ when looking through my belongings. I just got back into Yugioh and I feel exactly like I did when I was a kid; pure joy and fun! I’ve been a little addicted getting back into it 😆 you make awesome, quality videos. I'm actually pretty nostalgic towards Command Knight because it's been a reliable warrior staple for me in a lot of the old DS YGO games , as well as being my OG deck master in Duelist of the Roses 👀

Nice, I never saw many of these asides from the Blade Knight one around, so it's great to see them open. My favorite is the Blade Knight out of all the promos, but Obnoxious Celtic Guardian is a close second. Let's hope some big pulls out of MFC and IOC!

My favorite 2004 tin is obnoxious Celtic guardian I remember opening that when I was younger. Unfortunately it was stolen along with my first deck at school. But always nostalgic to watch you open them thanks ruxin.

DMOC killed it .. that's def my fav card from these tins but i did like some of the classic commons like trapdustshoot and stuff

I have 2 2004 Insect Queen Tins currently:
1 I already opened & keep for memorabilia. The cards itself are still in EXCELLENT condition.
The other 1, I kept it SEALED in their original factory shrinkwrap, where I currently locked it away, preserved in my "Treasure Chest" & will NOT pull it out in 10 years after my the day I purchased the Tins.
I bought these 2 Insect Queen Tins back in 2020 for ~$300.00 each Tin on Ebay & they are BOTH BRAND NEW & SEALED in their ORIGINAL Factory Shrinkwrap.
My plan: 10 years after buying the Tins (i.e. 2030), I'm gonna investigate the value of that same unopened Insect Queen Tin. My Goal: To sell that Unopened Insect Queen Tin in 2030 for $1000 (aka. a $700 gain investment from my original bought). Though, I might even willing to let my 2nd Insect Queen Tin sit in my Treasure Chest in the Attic for maybe 15-20 years from 2020.
I still have my copy of obnoxious celtic guard and command knight! Lots of good memories doing command knight and marauding captain loops!

I have the total defense shogun, when i was a kid i thought was the nicest monster, now i regret not choosing the Blade Knight. awesome pull of the lava golem. all the ultra rares are also insanely beautiful. Great Video man!!!!
Yoooo don't know if you've already noticed but that Lava Golem is a REVERSE FOIL ERROR!! I also pulled one back in elementary school and it's been one of my grail cards ever since. Epic opening
Total defense shogun was one of my favorite monsters growing up.. as a very passive player that liked playing monsters in defense mode it was excellent!!
