Boil the milk for some time, cool it and collect the layer (malai) that comes on top of it. Beat the collected malai a little. Now, you can use this homemade malai instead of fresh cream. Thank you😊

Yes, you can add milk. But, to prevent the milk from curdling, turn off the flame and cool the cooked masala before adding the milk. Then return to low flame and cook. Milk thins the gravy, so thicken it with some grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese, if desired.
