@@hunter-constantine i recommend making the rear iron sights longer and dropping in place like a puzzle works. So it makes it actually secure without the alen key

I feel like the most interesting use case for this. Would be to just try it out on different firearms when you're at the range. Shotguns, pistols, rifles. Maybe a friends gun that doesn't run an optic. Something old that's not modified, or you don't want modified.

Damn. That is surprisingly cool. I think its a perfect solution for 1911s that you dont want to mill or use those novak mounts that make you entirely loose irons.

Hey Hunter.. I just wanted to say - I love your belt design, I made one for myself and it is the most comfortable style belt I have ever worn. 3D printed buckle, hand sewn...and I used a cheap metal ruler as the reinforcement sewn inside the nylon. I love it

Cool idea. But unless the mount alone is half the price of milling a slide, they are missing the mark. Especially for Glocks. You can buy or build a complete new slide for that.

It would be really cool if they could make a universal adapter plate for compacts so I could swap optics between my G43 MOS and Sig 365 Fuse
I have pistols with no options for mounting dots. This is perfect for such pistols. I’d like to see some closed emitter options and some different sizes. It would also be helpful if you would put what it is and who they are in the description. Thank you

I just realised you could literally make this a multigun sight by 3d printing a U shaped piece to sit over the top in the rear sight hole and over the side of the slide of the chosen handgun to stop it from walking, if you want to go fully autistic print some holes to pop magnets into the U lock to magnetise it to either side too.
i see its cool coz you can clip it to a non MOS Glock, which is cool. But I dont see any use in taking it off and on if you have co-witness sights on that.
This would be perfect for my Taurus PT 24/7 Pro 40 S&W. I do want to get the slide cut here soon and I have a local gunsmith that's going to start cutting slides soon for his customers and I want to wait for him to support his business, and this magnetic optic sounds like it would be a great alternative in the meantime but I have no clue if any of these would fit my Taurus.
I feel like this is solving a problem that no one really had. I'm not saying its bad. It seems to be good quality and holds zero. But the only time I can think of repeatedly removing a sight is if I wanted to keep swapping it from one gun to another.
Good for something you don't want to have milled.

@@arcbound489 Yeah they're cheap, but it would have to be redesigned to accept a cotter pin though. Plus it would look pretty tacky with a cotter pin sticking out of the side imo

The Glock 17L was the perfect gun to do this with too as the new GEN 5 has an MOS mount but they fucked it up putting a plastic part as part of the slide.
Exactly the same thing they didn’t do when they were trying to advertise it on tiktok, basic range use instead of actually putting it to the test
