    Your upgrade video series is awesome! You tube unsubscribed me - I just realized and resubscribed. We are a Lab family too - 3 chocolates and a black lab over the years but lived with a tiny 2 kilo rescued chihuahua on our sailboat. I don’t know how you do it so the big slobbers and insane swimming obsession with Labs! Happy sailing. Cheers to you.

      So glad you enjoyed it! It is definitely a challenge having three dogs aboard - lots of and constant training 🐶🐶🐶 AND lots of vacuuming and cleaning. But it is definitely worth it to have them on the boat with us.

    Your boat is so nice! The upgrades makes everything even nicer! It’s so cool that you’re still boating.

      So glad you enjoyed it! The labmaraners still like being out on the water. We added underwater lights this year and Anubis loves to watch for fish at night - she gets super excited 🐶🐶🐶!

    Thank you so much for putting this together. I'm considering a Leopard 40 and this helps out a lot!

    Have been using macerator type toilets on our boats for 25+ years, never had a issue with flushing RV style toilet paper. You should always use Bactec with any marine holding tank.

    Thanks for going into detail. I can see you guys thought a lot about the content. Well done, hope I could get out on the water in the future.

      Bidet electric toilet seats are popular in Asia, also just a bidet spray hose next to the toilet. Being a westerner initially I put in the spray hose only for my wife, however I find I use them now, less to no paper needed. The spray hose version is good for cleaning yourself and the toilet/bathroom floor. Very cheap as well.

    I can’t find part 3 - did I overlooked it or is it still in production?

    Hey guys. In your vid you were saying you didn't put paper in your toilet. I think this is for you or any other mariners with maseraters. Amazon. Sambro ultra slim bidet attachment. $29.99. It fits between the bowl and the seat. I'm sure if necessary you could easily modify it to fit. Probably not necessary. Paper is only needed to dry your clean. Enjoy.

    We are in the process of upgrading our catamaran and found your overview of the aftermarket upgrades are very informative without being too technical. Those Elide fire suppression balls are really innovative.
    Question on the grey baskets in the salon. They look very nice and functional. Where did you get them? Thanks,

    • @LabMariner
      @LabMariner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So glad you found it useful. We bought the grey baskets from Michaels about 2-3 years ago - but it doesn't look like they're selling that model any more. We bought about 15-20 of various sizes and use them all over the boat; suggest that you stock up when you see something you like.

    Thanks for these videos, very informative. Question on the fuel filter upgrades. Did you keep the original filters housings as additional filtration? I've heard some people install two filters in series (higher micron for the first and a lower micron for the final).

    • @LabMariner
      @LabMariner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We kept all the original fuel filters and their housings - didn't want to cause any warranty issues - and just added the new filters in line with the originals.

    Any recommendations on bidet toilet seats for these marine toilets? A must in my opinion

    • @LabMariner
      @LabMariner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We'll probably go with a toilet seat version - likely a BioBidet BB-1000 Supreme bidet seat with remote.

    Would the bidet seat require 110volts?

    • @LabMariner
      @LabMariner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A lot of the models require 110/120 V. But, there are models out there - such as the Boss Bidet Neo 110 (a seat attachment) that work with batteries.
