Here are the recipes I used: Ginger Bug: 2 cups warm filtered water mixed with 2 tsp organic sugar. Rough Chop/dice 1oz organic ginger and add it to the water mixture. Close jar tightly. For the next 3-5 days (fermentation depends on your room temp) open the jar and feed it 1 tsp of sugar and 1/2 oz of chopped ginger. When it smells yeasty and you see bubbles, transfer to fridge for at least 2 days. Enjoy! Limoncello: 12 organic meyer lemons, peel with no pith. Poor 750ml Everclear (I have seen some recipes with a strong vodka) over peels. Close up tightly and leave in a cool/dark area for at least 2 weeks. Next, make a simple syrup mixture of 3 cups water, 3 cups sugar. While syrup is cooling, remove the lemon peels from the infusion. Add syrup to infusion and store back in cool/dark spot for another 2 weeks. Keep in the freezer to enjoy chilled. Fermented Lemonade: 6 cups warm filtered water, 1 cup honey, 1 cup fresh lemon juice, 1/2 cup strained ginger bug/kombucha, 2 raisins. Mix water and honey together, then rest of ingredients. Fastern lid tightly on counter for 2-3 days, then place in fridge for at least 2 more days. Enjoy chilled!
Thank you again for your time and sharing these recipes with us ☺️ Love the way you posted these 🤗 Very helpful ❣️ GOD Bless you and your Family 🙏🏻❣️🙏🏻
Thank you for participating in this collaboration and sharing your recipes also! I am totally 💯 committed to learning and healing my gut ( keeping it healthy started with a totally destroyed gut from antibiotic use). So glad to learn so many ways to help myself heal . It all started when a pharmacist told me all I needed for probiotics for my gut was the sauerkraut that I was learning to make. It was better than anything she had. So honest and totally helped me find Anna at fermented homestead and now so many more who are into fermentation!
Lemons? YUM! Ginger? YES, PLEASE! Lime? OKAY! Especially now that it is going to start warming up! Certainly have to try this! Thank you for sharing your fermenting with us!
