Last year we towed it from the bottom of WA up to Karijini & back without any issues. We also upgraded from a camper.
Congrats girls. The van may be older than the overpriced hybrid you were thinking about but it will be better made and probably better insulated. A tip for push-up handles to save some head bumps....pool noodles, they work a treat 😀 Having enough solar and battery storage for off-grid is great too. Enjoy your travels, have a great time 🥳

Wow that sounds like an amazing trip. We think getting a caravan is all about compromise. As you won't get everything that you want.

Thanks for the pool noodle tip. We have a car with more than enough power. We mostly use the caravan power for lights and diesel heating.
