Paul, we have the same vehicle but different van. When ever i am reversing onto the van or manouvering like this i always put the car into low 4wd. this takes out the reving and surging and you can control the car and van much better. Give it a go and let me know what you think. Great video again as always. Thank you
The good old Murray River tracks never fail to raise the old blood pressure. We’ve been stuck many times exploring the area for campsites. Many in the dark which makes things interesting. Great job and video guys. 👍
Hi Paul & Wenda, thanks for another great video. The hip camp looked good. Well done with the reversing guys. Loved the little town that was saved, people power! You two are going to be famous, enjoy the Hunter. Safe travels, keep well and see you soon. Corrie and Lyn ❤
@@ChrisJames-k7z thank you 😊 yeah it was mainly cosmetic as we hadn’t done anything to the van in four years so figured we needed to give it a bit of TLC 😉 Cheers Paul and Wenda
Wow! What a nice job, reversing all that way. 👍You worked so well together and as always you keep your cool. Adding some new touches does make things feel like new and then makes you feel good too. Hope you had a great time with your family, we’re looking forward to that time, caravanning with our children and grandchildren too. Looking forward to your visit to reflections and your thoughts on your stay there. Thanks 🙏
Great to have you back; the van looks terrific. Look forward to hearing about the Reflections experience. How good is Lockington pub? They did a lot to help the Rochester folk during the last floods, great community. (and no I don’t live there 🙃 but we did drive through one the second day as we went north to manage our property in Southern NSW). You sure know you’re at a country pub with meals like that.
Loved it. ❤. Reminded me of when we took our 23ft caravan down what we thought was a olive grove farm but no it was the front drive of someone’s house 😮 the lady was not happy and we had to back out whoops. Yes don’t trust google maps. 😊.
It was great to see the updates on the Van. They look fantastic. Why would you read directions? You don't need them. You have Google Maps 😁 . Thanks for sharing. I'll see in the next video.
Another good vid, re.. freshening up the inside of van. I'd booked into Jayco Edmonton Cairns with a month wait before jobs. Photos, with precise measurements supplied but work not done. @@rosemaryshepherdsmith5110 thanks after 4 years it was great to freshen the van up a bit. That’s disappointing to hear about your experience with your can up in Cairns. Hi Paul and Wenda. Great videos. Found your channel by accident. We are going to watch all of your videos when we have tiime. Just a quick question - when you had the van refreshed, did you have the ironiing board removed? :)
Might also be helpful to viewers to add what the booking fee was in Hipcamps. It makes the stay quite a bit more than $30 in our experience. Plus they take a fee from the farm owners as well!!
@@sandyhuysmans6917 you know what I didn’t even notice that when I paid but you’re right there was an extra $15 that Hipcamp added to the bill 😱. It was the first time we’ve used Hipcamp Cheers
Sorry guys , but I am noticing a trend amongst all the travelling youtubers to start sensationalising the thumbnails on their weekly videos…, and now you are doing it too.I am guessing it has become all about clicks. It is not just you … all my favourites are doing it. Just so you know,I am quickly losing interest. Hope it works for you but it sure doesn’t for me.
G’day Proud Aussie, we’re sorry to hear you feel our thumbnails have become sensationalized, that has never been our intention. Like you we have noticed that trend and try hard to keep ours relevant to the content and at the same time make them entertaining. Even this most recent thumbnail reflects our experience when we got stuck on the track and although it may look “over the top” it was exactly how we felt when confronted with a dead-end track and no way to turn around. It was quite a challenge for us. But look we have taken your feedback on board and appreciate the fact you took the time to share your thoughts. Cheers Paul & Wenda
@@beyondthegreyoz Sorry guys .I like your videos and didn't mean to seem too critical.I meant it more as feedback than criticism .I still like the others I follow as well. I guess it is a sign of the ever increasing competition to keep viewers ..and I understand that. It just seems to have become a bit of a trend with all video creators over the past few months. You guys have a certain market of your own. I watch you for the information you provide about various places you have visited. You do it in an informal way as though we were camped next to each other and you are letting us know features of various places. My beef is purely with the thumbnails everyone is putting out lately. I know they are the hook to get views but some (not yours) are saying things that seem a bit deceptive like "we're done!!!" as though they are breaking up...then you watch and realise they are simply moving to a new area. My wife and I are still watching your lovely channel . Keep up the good work .
