Hope the pies were good But all I could Le think was I wish I could spend a week along the foreshore at Rye After looking at that view
The pies were bloody beautiful highly recommend them. The foreshore camping certainly has a great appeal, a mate of mine camps at Capel Sound for 6 weeks. Thanks for the watch Cheers ❤️Carol
Carol love your sly remarks. I'm staying home this Christmas
Why thank you Phil its gets me in a lot of trouble. Worth it though. Home for Christmas can be good. Cheers ❤️Carol
Lyrebird can imitate sirens, chainsaws and even vehicles
They are very clever birds ❤

Hot here in Central NSW, good Monday morning ladies
I think down south over summer is a great place to be. Not as hot as up north.

We have a great cheap 2nd battery set up. 75w inverter plugged into 12v socket. Inverter connected to a smart charger to a 100amp battery box. Works great, turn the car on charges, no drain when turned off.
Love a good cheap setup. Very nice ❤
My user name "Bendigo pipe club" represents Me Pete and my mate Josh. We smoke pipes. Tobacco.
Wow that is very different. ❤

Sticky date pudding
Hahahaha love a good sticky date pudding. Reminds us of the old Lonely Planet Guides - where they mention a certain cafe does Sticky Date Pudding to die for 😄
Don't mess with the lammy
Yes you are right 😀

New to the channel, I have watched 3 so far. Love the daggy, educated honesty. We're 3 yrs off our round Aus trip. Your channel is obviously a great resource for potential hobo's. Hoboken,,
Hahahaha - potential hobbos. Thanks for watching. We have not yet done (or planned) a trip around Australia.
Will you use coconut ceeam to mix the damper?
We like your thinking but no. We have the baking ingredients. It's how to finish it off like a lamington. Melting chocolate and adding coconut with a raspberry filling.
Brought banana quik for the grandies the other day
Good old Banana Quik - Yum. Lucky kids. ❤
Need to try my Laksa Chicken so easy
Sounds delicious when you put it like that. 😀
Time you came to SA
One day we will return to SA. We have travelled there a couple of times. 😀
Got a squeeze box ladder yet
No but we do need one 😅
👋
Hi guys are you doing Vilcore stickers
Vilcore stickers? We will be doing "some" merch stuff. We don't have a logo yet. We are not sure how we think it should look. Hoping we will have decided something in the new year. ❤
Cut some pool noodle into a long triangle shape and wedge it into the core of handtowel
Great tip we will give that a go 🙏😀
Queen Weedalot
Hi girls love your videos you make me laugh 👍
Thnak you ❤ We like to have a bit of fun 😀
Air fryers are great. I never use the oven at home any more, as the air fryer does the job and is easy to clean. It also taken the place of my fry pans most times as chips, steak, etc. all done oil free. Re the time taken, in most cases it is not an issue for me. As soon as you pull up, throw pies or whatever in, and by the time you have been to the loo, set up tent or whatever, the food is ready. There is no rush, and t amazes me how people carry on about five or twenty minutes to erect tent for instance, because it's all part of the experience. Re sauce full ... brilliant.
Hey John, you are onto something there with just using the Air Fryer i have a lot to learn to using it to its full potential. Spot on with time and patience when setting up, we have noticed lately people almost rush to set up then sit down with their phone or an ipad, begs the question why camp in nature. Cheers for the comment ❤️Carol
I’ll probably take the air fryer
Yes the air fryer is awesome and so versitle 😀
Thank you for the review ❤️❤️❤️
Nice video ladies! ❤
Thank you for the lovely comment. And for leaving a comment ❤😀
You pair crack me up I don’t a,Le many comments on anything I follow. So wow you must if both made it,!,,,,,, Keep doing what your loving
Wow, that means so much to us! ❤️ We're so glad we could make you laugh, and it’s awesome to know you took the time to comment-it really does mean a lot. We'll definitely keep doing what we love, and we hope you'll stick around for more laughs! Thanks for the support! 🙌😊
Good works. Love how resauceful you are. How about the famous damper in the air fyer?
Hahahahah yes Re-sauce-ful 😂 As for damper in the air fryer? Gay does not think so. We love cooking it in the camp oven (winning tip hahahaha).
Bloody hell! I get that “this is the ladies toilets” all the time. Drives me crazy. I understand your trauma. 😂. Just bought myself a Delica. I am looking forward to doing some off grid camping with my dog and my partner the lovely Brenda. Pity it is coming up to school holidays. Thank you for your video I look forward to more. Really lovely.
Thank you Donna, there is a video if ever you are looking for something to watch by Ash Beckham about the whole being called a bloke, really resonated with me. Anyway moving on from that a Delica is a good size van sounds exciting. What sort of dog do you have? School holidays really change things but we live in an area that is busy so over the summer so we are sort of used to it. Thanks for the watch and comment safe travels to you, Brenda and your pooch. Cheers ❤️Carol
Bloody hell Carol put the knife and fork away - its a pie, eat with your fingers - informative video again girls
Cmon Brett my mother raised me to being a lady….just fyi i barely used the knife and fork cheers 🍻
Air fryer all the way - wouldn’t be without mine
We are loving it ❤
That’s a very versatile cloth, l’ve taken along a small Kmart air fryer , yet to use, but my favourite is my 3 litre instant pot only 700 watts,
Hey Kim, the cloth is super versatile 😀😀😀 i recommend having a go with the air fryer they are good. I have heard a lot about the instant pots they seem very popular. Not sure how much more cooking things we can fit in with all the fire pit etc stuff we have. 😂 Cheers again for the watch and the comment ❤️ Carol
Enjoy watching your videos, we’ve been on the road in a caravan for 14 years. Still loving it.
Thank you we have been enjoying putting out videos ❤ Wow 14 years that is awesome. Good on you 👏 for getting out there. 😀
Great content, but Carol, that's a bit unaustralian to eat a pie with a knife and folk 😮 lol. I'm just messing with ya, and I think the travel buddy and air fryer are both great. I would probably keep both because they both are great for different reasons
Dave could not agree with you more on all that you have said, especially the whole knife and fork thing 😆 if all works out and we manage to find a good place in our canopy to hang the travel buddy i do feel we will keep it. As i said in the vid there are differences on their use and we have found both really good. Seriously I loved the day we travelled into the Bash and put our spring rolls in the buddy then down the road and hour on still sitting in traffic we had time to hoover up our food so when we got to camp we were good to just set up and watch everyone else come in……life has its rewards.
Have a look at Cowboy Kent Rollins. Also, tortilla breakfest. Buy the tortilla boats from the supermarket. Fill with scramble egg mix, with bacon, tomatoes, and cheese. Cook at home. Then, on the road, reheat.
Oh Rusty you had me (Gay) at Kent Rollins. He is awesome. We didn't think about reheating. There is an extremely long list of things to trial cook at camp.
Burgers chicken wings . Crumb fish in air fryer, bacon , good video girls
Awesome these are some great suggestions. We hope to trial out bacon very soon. Gay loves candied ❤😀
Gay and Carol , good video . I think the air fryers are the way forward now but difficult to secure while travelling. I am sure it might be something our friend from Kickass could solve .Keep ‘em coming ! 👍👍🍻🍻
Hahaha yes we definately think Kickass may have something. We will most likely still keep the travel buddy. But we are loving the air fryer. ❤😀
Sausages and lamb chops are yum in air fryer. Ive also cooked bacon, eggs, roasted potatoes . Sausage rolls, chiko rolls, chicken drumsticks and other things - all very good.
Crickey these are some great ideas. Love the sound of sausages and lamb chops. So much camp cooking to look forward to ❤
Geez you girls make my week. Just love your vids. Now girls dare you to try Chiko Rolls they make a great lunch. Box of 4 at the supermaket.
Thank you we love to have a bit of fun. We will definately be trying the chicko rolls. Thanks for the tip ❤😀
🤗Fun 🇦🇺 Banter Girls I Love How You Gulls Roll 🥧cheers🥧
Haha we love to have a bit of fun and a good laugh ❤😀
Hey girls, another easy to listen to vid 👍 thanks 😊 I haven't owned or used a travel-buddy, but we have had a basket style like yours and now have an oven-style as I got tired of having to cook two batches of marinated chicken wings 😛😀 but yes love the airfryer, it would be my pick.
Thank you so much Sharon, I understand the whole cooking 2 batches of things its annoying. We really haven’t used the air fryer much yet but with everyone’s suggestions I think i need to get some ideas together have a crack at home and take with us on our next travels. The air fryer seems so much more versatile but i still love our travel buddy for different reasons. Thanks for the watch and especially the=he comment, cheers ❤️Carol
In the travel buddy you can do 2 pies at a time. So you can eat together. Just saying…
Totally agree. We will still use the travel buddy when we are "driving". Otherwise we have been very happy with the Air Fryer. ❤😀
I can’t help but wonder if the heat thermometer would work on the bride ? My favourite pie place so far and believe me I’ve checked out a lot is Gumtree pies in Wodonga and Yackandandah , the bride is a big fan of their pies but I can’t go past their sausage rolls, big call I know but I saying that they are the best i have ever eaten anywhere. Tallangatta bakery for their plain and curried pies a very close second 👍👍. Currently still in Geurie visiting the grandkids, next stop Bathurst for mate’s and kids and then Henty for more mates and a new born then onto Walbundire for or Walsh family (tribe) fix 😂😂👏👏👏🤞🤞god willing hopefully Nug Nug for Christmas and summer,we mite have to rece the Vici next camp up for charity site. All though I’m not a fan of planning that far in advance, tempting fate I reckon 😂😂🤞🤞. Stay strong, looking beautiful as always 😘😍🥰❤️❤️🙏👁️👁️😎😇🐕🦺. P.s. Charlie 🐕🦺is still a little monster at 6 months old, I reckon we need a 240 volt shock collar or a lead hear ring but the bride insists it’s just more patient and training that’s required. P.p.s air fryer fan here 👍👍
Graham I can highly recommend NOT using the heat thermometer on the bride, some wives do not have the same sense of humour that we do, clearly their lose though😂 If we go through Wodonga we will keep it in mind we do like a good pie. Gay will tell you she had the best sausage roll in Dirranbandi it was cheese and bacon made by a russian family, all that aside she thought it was the best she had ever had. Sounds like your travels are going well and you are getting to visit loads of people. I imagine charlie boy is huge now. Safe travels to you and the bride.
I love my air fryer, 2:39 I finally broke and bought one a few weeks ago, Would not be without it now. I live in my coaster full time, Totally self-contained, so power is a factor. The air fryer is awesome on power use. I heat pie in m-wave and crisp in air fry. 3 pies in 10 mins.
Totally agree the air fryer is the best. We chose ours on power usage. We have a big battery. We don't have a microwave. We thought the air fryer did heat the pie to perfection.
Air fryer any day Great clip Gay & Carol
Thanks Jack. We have really grown to love how great the Air Fryer is. ❤😀
haha resauceful ..be so funny seeing someone chugging a sauce bottle. air fryer for the win ..what can't you cook in them ..i love roast pork ..small one in under an hour ..let it rest and do your veggies (cut up small so the hungies dont set in lol)
Hey Cheryl, we love a good pun 😀 the air fryer is becoming the new toy we need to practice more and more just need to remember too. Thanks for the watch and comment ❤️Carol
Should give the 12V Air Fryers a go! They are awesome!
Hey Rob, we did look at them and think they are a great idea, we figure we have the inverter and don’t use it a lot so this was a good way to use as well as easy cooking. Have seen some good 12v ones around though. Thanks again cheers ❤️Carol
Of the two pies, which one was the most moist.😃 And you have to tell me where you get one of those phone screen cleaning cloth's.
Those cleaning clothes are a unique addition for us. The travel buddy proved to be the most moist there young Ed
Pie have to enjoy, probably cook a roast. Your video always gives me a smile. Excellent video my friends
Thank you Phil, we haven’t yet dabbled in a roast but still learning. Cheers for the watch and the comment ❤️Carol
Lovely Ep and review On two cooking Apparatus you funny Larrikins
Thanks Craig glad you enjoyed it, shame you couldn’t taste the pies they went ok. Cheers carol
