From experience of having new high $ bows versus a lower priced bow over the years so much of the results of being able to hit the mark is the shooter. In the last two years several bow manufacturers have great lower cost products that offer some great designs and options. Nearly every bow nowadays can be setup and tuned to perform better than 99.9% of the archers can shoot. These are awesome for hunting as compared to an expensive for hunting. The ability to put arrows into a 4-5” circle at 40 yards with a lower cost bow setup correctly is very easily achieved nowadays.

I could not agree more. An archer must put in the time with the bow to be proficient. When I bought my Elite EnVision, I shot a 3d with another guy who had a cheap bear bow. Since he had more experience with the bow, he actually outshot me, especially at distance.

I think it was $94.99. I may be wrong but I’m pretty sure that’s what it was. Thanks for the comment!

dont use a stabiliser, you would be suprised how well bows shoot compared to wasted money trying them

It turns out the White Grease(I think it was Lithium Grease) did not do its job too well and the bow creaked and groaned. We replaced the upper cam and the the whole lower limb set and cam but it didn’t fix the problem. Darton warrantied the bow and the new one has no problems. When my shop talked to the Darton Rep, he said mine was the second bow to have that problem but they wanted to study it to see what exactly caused it. Darton seems like a really good company though since they replaced the bow for free and everything. Hope this helps! Thanks for the comment!

buy a switchback, cheap and more accurate then 100% off modern bow. want a true speed bow, moster 6 for accuracy, much faster then the pse lie 362 bow. monster 6 at 70blb 29vshots faster the the pse 360 at 80lb 30 inch. pse would warrent it for its non performance

30 is average almost any bow should be able to be set at 30

True. However, most short ATA bows(under 32”) peak at 30 or 30.5. This creates a much stiffer draw cycle and less enjoyable shooting experience for me. I have shot the Phase 4 29 at both 28.5” and 30” with wildly different results. For some, draw cycle isn’t very important but it is one of my top things to look for in a bow. Thank for the comment!

I don’t know where you are from but 30 is not average. Holland maybe?
