I have used most of these fluids, but besides WD-40, the fluid that I use the most is Marvel Mystery Oil. I have used MMO at virtually every fill up in my car, truck, and lawn mower since 2016. I use the recommended amount of 4 ounces of MMO for every 10 gallons of gas. Everything seems to run much smoother, and my car now gets at least an extra one to two more miles per gallon on the highway.
Around 2019, my 2002 Chevy truck had a loud lifter ticking noise. The oil was a quart low, so I added a quart of MMO to the crankcase. Soon the lifter ticking noise disappeared. I drove the truck about 400 miles and when I changed the oil, it was extremely dirty. This was telling me that the MMO was removing the sludge out of the engine.
For the first five years that I was using Marvel Mystery Oil, the quart size (32oz) was always $3.88 at Walmart. 😊😊 In the past 2 1/2 to 3 years, the price is now up to $7.98, more than double the price. 😢😢

Thanks for the reply, I’ve never used it in a gas tank yet, but I do use it in the crank case. If the oil comes out looking black doing it’s job. Another option I’ve done to clean up some sludge to add kerosene to the crank case and run it for about 20 minutes. I was so surprised at what came out. It broke down very heavy sludge that was sitting at the bottom of an oil pan.

LOL unfortunately I've seen a lot of people use as if they are completely immune to deadly cancerous chemicals.

There is definitely a place for WD-40 in the shop. I would also add some kind of dry lube like graphite lube and or my favorite B'laster Dry Lube. How about a can of carburetor cleaner as well. As well as Simple Green, which is fairly mild, I keep the much more aggressive Supper Clean, can't beat the purple stuff, just don't get it on aluminum. Some more you may want are white lithium spray grease, Evapo-Rust, and some chain and cable lube, or some other thicker spray lube.
    P.S. Houdini lock spray too.
P.P.S I can't live without some spray adhesive like Super 77 as well.

Appreciate the insights and product recommendations! I had WD-40 on the recording list and pulled it as I thought to myself that it's too common place and most everyone would already have it. And as for Evapo-Rust...I LOVE that stuff for turning 40 year old crusty car fasteners into looking new again. If we're talking rust, I gotta mention Fluid Film as well as a preventative.

@@TorqueAndTwisted The list could get out of hand pretty quickly. Fluid Film is good stuff, I also like Ballistol and Boeshield T-9, depending on what I'm trying to keep clean.

@@Roger_Icce I forced myself to limit this video to only 7 types of fluids, otherwise it would have gotten endless and out of hand as you said. The last second cuts were CRC electrical parts cleaner, WD40, carb cleaner, and Invisible Glass glass cleaner.

@@Rudimentary007 I added about 1 to 2 oz into my older lawnmower and snowblower during oil changes and noticed they seem to run a little smoother afterwards as well. I've never used it in a gas tank but considering what it's made from I don't doubt it could help there as well.
