Tips to grow more mint
• 7 tips to grow more mi...
Steps to grow mint in an easy way..
1.Just take four to five mint stems and take away all the leaves from the bottom..just keep 3 to 4 leaves at the top...
2.Take a half glass of water..and put those sticks into it..
3.Wait for 3 to to 4 days...and we can see the formation of roots..
4.Dense roots will be formed after 10 days of water dippings..
5.Transplant the stems into a flat pot..or a grow bag...size doesn't matter..soil mix- cocopeat 50%, vermicompost 30%,red soil 20%..red soil is optional..flat pot is best because it spreads very quick horizontally...don't plant it in raised bed..because it will conquer the whole bed very fast...better to use a separate grow bag..
6.We can see lots of mint leaves after 3 to 4 weeks from transplantation...
7.We can harvest the mint leaves at any time...but we can wait for upto 40 to 45 days for proper growth..and then we can start harvesting..
8.After harvesting we can repeat the same water-root-formation method with the harvested sticks...
9.Give some nitrogen rich fertilizer after the first harvest..best ones are dried cowdung and vermicompost
10.Water it regularly..regular sunlight is required..

Tried seeds in tray more than month nothing has germinated.
Watering daily.
Used 50 %Vermicompost and 50 % Coco pit.
Don't try the seeds that you bought from the provisional store...please try the seeds which is specified for gardening...you can buy it online...or in the gardening shops..
Soil mix is same..
