    Brother please clear my Doubt actually when I opened their website they mention this is diploma program not master program please clear my confusion..

    • @knowledgeoverflow6012

      Your doubts are understandable. Because this course comes in 3 different options. The first is the certificate course, then a diploma and finally it leads to a Master's. So you can independently apply for any of these options based on your comfort. Their syllabus runs in an iterative fashion leading to a masters degree. I hope this clears it up.

    Thank you so much for your helpful videos, I found your channel through this video while I was searching for this application, and luckily I found some other Data Science masters in Canada thanks to your channel. I think everything looks great in this application except the fee which is enormously high, 40K for a year. It is one of the most expensive data science masters in Canada. I was so passionate about this program but the fee made me disappointed especially when you have to pay the whole in a year.

    • @knowledgeoverflow6012
      @knowledgeoverflow6012  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for your kind words Hamideh! Glad you found the videos useful! As for the fees, I understand that it is on the higher side, in fact other top universities are also having more expensive courses like Toronto and UBC but this surely has a brilliant ROI. If you try to search for people who graduated from these institutions on LinkedIn, you'll see what great places they're working at. So, ROI is grand for sure, but I totally agree that you'd have to take a huge amount of loan to cover the costs but I believe it will be worth it. So if you are indeed willing about studying in Calgary, at least you should apply and see if you are selected and later you can make up a decision! Good luck with your application Hamideh! Best regards from India!🙂

Once again I want to thank you for your helpful content on this channel. The videos cover everything about graduate programs and it has eased the process for me.

    hi bro ,great information you have given.one doubt ,I am from a university which has English is the medium of instruction, though it is asking for IELTS score. how can I complete application without IELTS score

    • @knowledgeoverflow6012
      @knowledgeoverflow6012  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For this university, you can get it waived if you can submit some sort of proof, declared by your university stating that the language of instruction was English. It needs to be official with proper letter-head, stamp etc. Every university have their own format for that, you can consult your university's examination department.

    Hi, just one ques:
    Are we eligible for these internships here if we go for graduate diploma course instead of a master's degree ??
    Btw tysm for this informative video:)

    • @knowledgeoverflow6012
      @knowledgeoverflow6012  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Eti! Actually that internship is a part of Master's curriculum. Remember this course follows an iterative approach? In that iteration, internship is a mandatory requirement for master's and not for a diploma. However, you can search for internships. The university helps a lot in finding internships for you. And a suggestion: if you're willing to go for internship, you should apply for a master's beforehand because internship is essentially the only difference in diploma and master's degree here. That way you'll be having a much better degree than a diploma. Hope this helps. Good luck!🤘

    Hi this is a 1 year program right? Meaning PGWP of 1 year will be there. After completing the program they provide internship .
    (1) is this internship period eats up the 1 year PGWP? Or after internship do we get 1 year stay back ?
    (2) for how many months the internship is provided?

    • @knowledgeoverflow6012
      @knowledgeoverflow6012  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. The internship is actually a part of the curriculum, so it doesn't count towards PGWP. Your PGWP will start once you complete the coursework.
      As for your query on how long is an internship, the university requires you to have a minimum 200-hour internship which ideally is a 5 week internship. But it all depends on how long you want your internship to be. Once you complete 200 hours, you become eligible for the final assessment.

    Hi, I have leaned discrete mathematics, statistics and programming as part of my MCA. But I don't know if it would meet the criteria. How to know that?

    • @knowledgeoverflow6012
      @knowledgeoverflow6012  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      With an MCA and the required subjects you would be eligible to apply to this program. Since they need a 4-year undergrad degree, these universities accept 3-year degrees if you have a master's on top of it which you certainly have. So you need not worry about eligibility and you can apply without much thought! Good luck!👍

    Hi! Is it possible to extend this program to more than one year of full-time study?

    • @knowledgeoverflow6012
      @knowledgeoverflow6012  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Laura! Unfortunately, currently there's no provision to extend this program by more than one year. That'd only be the case when you fail some subjects!😅 Even with that, when you go for a post study work visa you'll still be entitled to laws pertaining to 1-year masters degrees in Canada. :) Hope this clears up...

    I am a mechanical engineer with score 8.5/10 over last 2 years of btech. If I do any courses separately for statistics or computer requirement, will that be counted towards eligibility. If yes could you please suggest courses for the minimum eligibility subject.
    Thank you for the reply in advance.

    • @knowledgeoverflow6012
      @knowledgeoverflow6012  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. Actually, online courses in platforms like Coursera and Udacity won't count towards the eligibility. You need to have certain course credits in order to fulfill the requirement. For this, you can apply for open courses in any of the universities which allow you to take individual courses. This is pretty common in the US universities and you can pursue those courses and those will count towards your eligibility. Hope this helps.

      @@knowledgeoverflow6012 , for eligibility would only university courses be adequate? I ask this because in addition to my 4 years of degree in Information Systems (CPGA 9.75), I recently completed a full online course (400 hours) of Data Science in my country (Brazil)
      I also have an MBA in Big Data and Competitive Intelligence.
      Thank you for your attention.

    • @knowledgeoverflow6012
      @knowledgeoverflow6012  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Rosilene. Yes, these courses should generally (and by generally we mean around 99%) be on your university curriculum as this is what the universities seek while admitting people. It's easier for them to gauge as these courses go in your transcripts giving them a better idea of how you were graded on that course. You seem to have a vary vast profile in terms of your studies, so most of the courses you would have completed either in your bachelor's or MBA. You just need to cross verify the subjects with transcripts from both of your degrees and you should be fine.

      University of Lethbridge is also a publically funded university, so it could be a good choice irrespective of any rankings they get. Also, the undergraduate fees is much lesser than the other public universities for international students. Later, you can go for a masters with specific skills at a university known for those skills. You can apply to external ones like Queen Elizabeth, Commonwealth Scholarship and Trudeau Scholarship to name a few. On just a little Google search you'll many more like these. Apart from that, you can refer to this scholarship search page University of Calgary has given: iac01.ucalgary.ca/FGSA/Public/PublicHome.aspx
      In this put the program name, graduate-taught and full-time and you'll get a whole list of scholarships. You can look at them and see if you can apply or not. Hope this helps.
