After living in Canada for few years, I came to conclusion...Canada is not good country to live honestly😢. The reason is; long winter, low pay, no growth for people, everything expensive, and too many regulations for everything. So I personally and honestly say without any bias, if you have the opportunity to go to another country where weather is good and you get more for your education then that would be the best decision. Most people think and say, we want to come to Canada because to get citizenship. I have Canadian citizenship and my Canadian passport is expired since last 6 years, and still I haven't renewed it. So what the citizenship gave me so far nothing. Once you get old it doesn't matter if you are in Canada or back home. Whenever, I go outside and I see so many older Punjabis walking alone on side walks and then I think why their kids brought them here? It would have been better for them to be back home at least they have friends there to kill their time instead of walking alone and lonely. That is why go to a good country, where you can earn good money. Once you are old then go to your home country and live in better part of your country. When people come here the opportunities are less, and whatever opportunities are there will go to the people who are living here since 4th and 5th generations. And they are the ones here having big companies and bosses of big coroporations. You will see few big companies diversified their work force but still, you will see in their work force the numbers of immigrants are less in higher positions. People say lots of opportunities here, what opportunities? Highly educated people come here from other countries and pass the exams and go through all the hurdles to work in their professions but still don't get jobs here. The government here just want to bring immigrants so the immigrants bring their money and boost economy and increase country's population.

I don't see the buzz anymore from youtubers on Alberta Calling campaign. After living couple of year in Calgary , moved to Toronto in early 2023 and seems that was good decision from career prospective. Now owning my own property here.

I moved to Alberta from Ontario four years ago, love it here! Wouldn't go back to Ontario if they told me I could live there for free.

Rent has gone up everywhere in canada from last one year, because of high interest rates. In Greater Vancouver you can't get anything below 2k
