Oh man, I used to play this game a lot! Also played sky shark , metal gear, Zelda, etc etc. Those were the times! My friends would come sleep over and we'd go rent games and stayed up all weekend long , jamming out!
It was the best time of our lives. I got a metal gear walkthrough on here too! I’d never played as a kid but holy smokes that one grabbed me instantly. Knew I had to learn it and finish it.
@@sophnoch4929 this isn’t one where a walkthrough really gives an edge. It’s predicated on just being sharp. Took a few tries to get this one recorded!
Oh yeah Konami really made some great ones. I love this game - between this and Contra just very simple, low brainpower, high enjoyment run and gun action. It’s a keeper
I’m really surprised how under the radar this title flew. I thought it was much more mainstream than it actually was. Yeah level 5 aesthetic is nice. Really fun play.
@@MikeSteele-g7y same! Both about the same length, different feel but so many similarities in the controls and design. They felt like long lost brothers
I never played this game or heard of it, but it looks pretty solid. From my recollection I didn't see many NES games that had this style or presentation of gameplay.
Hey that means a lot man thank you. Having a ball going through these and hopefully assembling a nice little collection for anyone who is “NES curious” lol
@@joshuawesterfield6635 I missed out on playing multiplayer for so many games. My siblings were all kind of beyond NES by the time I really got into it.
@ I haven’t yet but I think I’ll tackle that later in 2025. I mapped out the first 30 games or so on live stream on Thursday. We’re going to tackle a few NES, then take a break and shift to SNES in Sega. After that, we’ll swing back to the NES and I think wizards and Warriors might get tackled then.

@retronate im binging your vids now. Awesome content. You got a sub from this oldschooler!
@ my man! Appreciate it and I hope you enjoy!
I loved this game back in the 80’s.
@@raygipson8896 it was great! Killer soundtrack, great action and gameplay and pretty challenging. Just a solid game
That jeep is a clown car with the amount of friends you save along the way
lol - 15 bodies all packed in there in the first level.
Love this game. Even after watching this walkthrough I probably won't be able to beat it! Good stuff

I loved playing this game back to back with Contra. I think Jackal was the first Arcade released by Konami.

I thought I was the only one that remembers this game. Great walkthrough Nate! Have you ever thought about going through Guerrilla War?

Top down view shooters weren’t the popular style. This reminds me of levels 2 and 6 of Super C.
Love this channel!

I don't really remember this game, but it looks like a classic Konami game from this era. I like the overhead view a lot.
Simple to learn and well made. Weapon upgrades were nice and useful. Still stinking tough but not absurd. Solid title.
Never played it before, popped it on roday..fun game
Heck yeah! It’s basic but easy enough to pick up, fun to play, and tough to beat. Right in that meaty part of the curve.
Now how many people can fit in that little jeep, is beyond me!
