It's pretty crazy how Diva was just kind of a known personality among Spanish metalheads and how fast she's become almost an idol thanks to Nervosa. She's absolutely right about the metal scene in Spain (I'm also from Spain), and seeing a compatriot succeeding in something she has probably been told a thousand times she should leave aside makes me really happy. Hopefully she'll open the door for big record companies to our country, there's a lot of talent in here and I think she's a perfect example of that.
Diva doesn't look like a your typical female metalhead off stage. Elliot doesn't look like what comes to mind when you think of a metalhead, either, and that's great. By the way, this is the first time I've heard of this band.
Honestly you’d be surprised especially when you get older and are a business professional wearing a Versace suit to work in the corporate world and you are cranking Belphegor on your way home from the office in your Porsche 🤷🏻♂️

Such a great interview. I was watching some Death live shows, then this awesome interview showed up. Now I'm a huge Diva and Nervosa fan. Now we can only hope that the pandemic ends and we can see this great band Nervosa and other bands live. Hang in there musicians, when you play live again there will be an overwhelming appreciation for your return!

Saw them at stodio 7 a few years ago. F@#&ing amazing live Band. When she gives the Death stare in the live show if she hits your eyes it sends a chill through you....she is fierce. So glad you found them and love them.
Great interview once again, thanks Elliot! I've been listening to the new Nervosa album non-stop ever since it was released and it's really good. I have several favorite songs on the album but my current favorite is "Rebel Soul". It's such a straight up banger and that chorus with Diva's vocals is just food for the soul. It just makes me feel so good when I listen to it. It can turn any grey day into a good day.

PERPETUAL CHAOS by Nervosa is certainly one of the most spectacular opening album of 2021!!! Brilliant! And Diva Satanica? I want to marry her- her voice crushed my balls and melted my brain!!!
I don’t listen to Metal but I like this channel. Got a question though. Why do Metal bands pretend like they are satanic worshipers? It’s obvious this woman is not a devil worshiper. Is it like a role-play thing? I just don’t understand why Metal artists sometimes focus so heavy on evil things, rather than good things. I’m not being a jerk about it, I actually just want to understand better.

The ideas of the first band considered Heavy Metal - Black Sabbath - were based on a horror film called Black Sabbath.
See the lyrics for "Black Sabbath", the opening song of the first album. Heavy Metal is a genre that explores the dark side, as do some films. But not all Heavy Metal artists are forced to explore this area. ;)
