I am always amazed by the difference between Barney's "singing" voice and his speaking voice. Also, I'm always impressed by his ability to articulate his opinions in both lyrics and in interviews. There's an intelligence behind the noise, like most extreme bands. Those of us who lend an ear to it already know that.

I absolutely love Napalm Death, Barney really speaks out the direct meaning of the band and it speaks to me as well. Everything their music contains is all the absolute best I relate to.
Been a huge fan since the old days what a wonderful interview.
I don't listen to much metal nowadays but every time these guys release something new I'm always blown away. Their producer/engineer is great too. He gets such a massive sound. The production is clear and punchy but still retains the raw intensity of the band.

Thank you Elliot. You make old school metalheads very proud. Metal was always a protest. It's all about Freedom really...and Barney and many others are part of that Freedom. TV and Social Media want to direct us in a certain way...but they will never win. Never.

I saw Napalm play in a rock club in Ilford,Essex called the Island about 25 years ago, hour set in between the music His microphone lead hit me in the face haha.
The week after Carcass played! superb.

El Paso, Tx at Club 101 in 1992 or 93 give or take. Napalm Death played their show and it was brutal. At the end of the show when everyone left there was tons of hair on the floor and beer and blood. I was in high school at this time and God Flesh opened up for ND so after this show...I realized Death Metal shows always end up pretty brutal. lol Hair and blood on the dance floor...lol

I seen ND once with Cattle Decapitation in LA, Barney stepped out front and Security didnt want to let him in until he was like "Im with the Band." Security had a look like hes not from around here and let him in.
I saw ND on tour whit Morbid angel on altas of madness tour. And that is a long time ago he he. I think ther was 78 people ther. It was a monster koncert. 🙂🤘🤘
