@ClassicActWorkshop I experienced it with Metabo, but it's probably industry wide. Lowes used to offer a replace it warranty that you buy, but I don't think it's offered anymore.
@@LancasterWoodworks I'm surprised to hear that. I believe that saw is pretty highly rated. Might be worth reaching out to Bosch if it's within warranty.
Ive had this saw for 2 years now and im starting to have problems. Just last week the blade decided to not stop when i let off the trigger..it spins for another 5 seconds. And for the life of me i cant get the lazer squared up with my line on a board. Up by the fence its good, but out 10" its 1/8 off ghe line.
@@markbusey1593 interesting. I hope you can get it sorted out. Something with the blade brake. I know the laser is adjustable, but not sure about the angle. Do you use it all the time? 2yrs seems short to have these issues.
@@ИгорьПолозков-с2б yeah, as mentioned in the video is looks quite similar. Slightly different features like the bevel gauge further forward. I don't see the back blade guard, no blade nut cover...
I have the version with the shadow line. I much prefer that over the laser.
@@mikesgarage5066 Yeah, I can see how a shadow line would be better. Laser is best setup for one side of the blade on this saw.
A word of caution about the warranty. Make sure to verify the nearest service center/authorized repair rep is. You are on the hook for shipping.
@@bullpup33 good to know, shipping cost would definitely prevent me from using the warranty. Is that Metabo or just in general?

Sure, I think Ryobi paid for shipping on both a recall and warranty, but much smaller tools.
The C3612dra is the model I want.
Yup. that is the cordless model with an AC adapter, right? Should be a nice setup if you need the cordless option.
It's a great saw
Got the older Hitachi branded and this is almost identical
I have the Bosch glider and it’s been a disappointment, thinking of selling it for a cheaper saw if it’s not going to be accurate anyways

And now get new metabo c12 rsh 3 on the market.

@ClassicActWorkshop and new metal horisontal scale, helping 90 degree to ajust mach easier.
I hope you like it, that thing weighs a million pounds
@@Return2Kayfabe for sure, nice saw, but very heavy I think 59lbs it says on the box.
