We live in Idaho and watch your videos as fast as they come "wish there were more" and we were discussing channels that deceive you with their content and use click bait constantly. We had to tell you how much we love and appreciate your content, honesty, information and wholesomeness of your channel and lives together. Hope nothing but the best for you and all you do. Keep them coming. We see and realize the amount of work you do in everything. Bless you.

We grow microgreens for him, groom him, he has a sand bath and special toys, etc. And his cage is pretty much a palace at this point. Tip from a professional painter, ANY time you are using a roller to paint large flat surfaces, buy a simple wooden extension pole that screws into the end of the roller handle. A 4 foot one for sure, but also a 6 foot one for overhead surfaces. It may seem awkward at first, but be patient. The use of the leverage it gives you makes the painting go much faster and there is less fatigue on your arms and body. You can cover and fill in uneven surfaces, crevices and butt joints easier with the added leverage of the pole extension.

I just love what you've done with the place! 😄Seriously though, a job well done! Those chickens are living la vida loca in their spacious and beautiful, safe home...and eating delicious food. You guys are so great for looking after them the way you do. One of my fave channels on TH-cam.

Grounding, strip some 12/2 wire out and dig a trench, lay about ten feet of it down, wet the ground and bury it. 5, 6 pieces, twist them together. That will help but some suitable rod is needed. Painting the rebar with copper colored paint won't work either. I would find that issue at the mines. Using cut off rebar for fuses in the disconnect boxes. You could tell before you opened them as the paint would be melted off. Kind of dangerous. Deadly. Hey the coop looks great. So glad the bees are doing well. They need to get with it. Your ground is as rocky as mine. What about setting up a hydraulic/diesel screen deck. Scalp off the rocks and have fairly clean dirt to farm with. Let the sand and gravel outfit keep the rocks for the dirt or do it yourself. Sure one is sitting around somewhere close not being used. That old river/glacial bed is going to be tough to farm. Darn, you got the backhoe bucket dirty. Good vid, much enjoyed. Hope you find the other lost one. hard to do a retake. Good drone shots. Glad it's working. Some serious mountains around. Yjat wind is going to be tough coming around them.

5* chicken coop, lovely to see people go the extra mile in the care of their animals!
Also little tip, you can use artificial grass on the perches to create gentle and uneaven surfaces on the chickens feet. It can help prevent bumble foot especially when the weather gets cold and damp again and their perched in the same position with constant pressure on certain areas of their feet for longer periods of time. :)

Your bees are looking great!!!! 🐝🐝🐝🐝. My brother and grandfather raised bees. My grandfather raised bees,so he showed my brother and he put in a queen excluder in above the brood so she couldn't lay eggs above so they never had to bother the brood to harvest the honey. My brother used it for his FFA Project ( Future Farmers of America ). Maybe next time you feed your chickens the sprouts you could broadcast them so they forage and not bunch up so much. Keep up the good work. Really enjoy the scenery and commerodrie. ❤👍🐓🐔📹☺️

When painting with a roller, use an extension rod that screws into the handle. It makes a HUGE difference in the amount of physical labor you expend.

Once again, you knocked it out of the park with a building project. Well researched, executed and explained ... along with the video of some very happy and beautiful chickens. Bless you for taking such good care of them!
It is a Castle and a Palace!!!
Can't wait to see you move it. That will be fun!
PS. Back pain from your recent endeavors. Consider back strengthening exercises during the long Winter months. Wear some back braces. Once the pain sets in, consider ibufrofen and tylenol. Alternate and start with presciption dosage (up to about 800 mg). Consult with a doctor to get best recommendations.
    Love, love you guys!!!

You should be able to switch the controls on the backhoe from/to either “cat” or “deer” controls… it might be a switch or you might have to switch each individual line on a board somewhere.

My dad used to repair electrical fences on a farm and he told me to test with the back of your hand. Sometimes the electricity can make your muscles contract, so you could accidentally grip the wire if you use the front of your hand.

The minty green and lino reminds me of a 1960s house here in Australia. They were workers houses and used panels inside that you could see the joins even when the house is finished. Very nostalgic ❤

Eric - Many of the TH-cam channels that maintain chickens recommend using round wooden poles (2" diameter) for the roosting bars instead of flat boards. They favor the poles because: a) the round surface of the pole is a more natural shape that the chicken's foot can comfortably grasp and b) the poles require less maintenance to keep them clean - droppings automatically slide off a pole's curved surface while those same droppings tend to stick on top of the flat board and dry out there causing build-up that is unhealthy for the chickens and more difficult for you to scrape off.

I do agree with you but in a very cold climate we use flat boards to spread out the toes of the chickens do they can sit on them and keep them warm

Hubby is always the "tester". We bought an energiser second hand which plugs into the mains power. It's the bomb. Gives a really decent jolt. Something we learnt from a farmer. If you get a blade of grass and wet it (usually lick it), then touch the blade of grass as far away from the fence as you can, then slowly get closer until you feel the jolt through the grass. Much less painful with our mains powered energiser.
