Market share of EVs is going up compared to ICE vehicles. Tesla’s market share is dropping because there are so many more offerings in the EV segment. The depreciation of EVs is levelling off. Looks like used EV market found the floor.
I had a tesla model 3 performance which was unfortunately totaled. Now i am leasing an equinox ev 2lt awd. The only reason i have the equinox is because i work at the dealership i got it at and the car is basically free. Other than looks, the tesla is superior in every way if anyone was trying to decide on one or the other.

The largest problem with this vehicle if finding the one you want. What I mean by this is, even though Chevy has the full suite of offerings on their website, if you happen to choose one that you like, say in Iridescent Pearl White, you can't find one anywhere. Another negative on this is some of the interior color options (totally subjective to an individual's taste). The gray interior with white dash and seats is horrible looking and the RS trim gets the fade in red on the doors which looks incredibly cheap. The best, to me, is the black interior which receives the light blue trim pieces in the interior. But the problem with that color is that the light blue kind of clashes with some of the exterior color offerings. Other than that, it is a great car. Whoever got to choose the interior colors at GM should be fired.
Just curious...would you be willing to pay say $300 extra to have it covered. Or would you rather have that $300 in your pocket if you did purchase the EV Equinox?
Are you sure it has better equipped when compare dollar to dollar? For a base RS FWD $45k vs. model Y RWD $45k, Model Y has way more standard features. Both qualify for 7.5k tax incentives. So it only made Model Y a better option among the competitors. LoL. Not a Tesla lover but yet to see a real Model Y killer in the market as of 29-June-2024

@@Rockinthehill people buying EVs are saving so much money on gas and maintenance costs that they can’t even hear you bragging about your hybrid’s fuel economy because you’re always at the pump having to refill it with expensive gasoline depending on your location. Not as far as the interior goes and this is also more practical vs model3. Model Y is just frumpy and fugly. You seem a bit biased.
