Is there a way to make it begin the mechanic without pressing a key but instead the player automatically starts crawling through once player contacts hit box
Hey if you want to help more people find your video, it was super helpful to me, it’s actually hard to find an appropriate word in English but I think most people will search the verb “shimmy” like I did when I was looking up how to do this for my game. That’s the closest thing to describe the action the character does here I think. Great video very helpful 💚
Any plans on making a usable mounted gun? Hopefully replicated. Animations single step strafe left an right for looking left an right. Aim offset blendspace 1d for vertical animations for looking up an down. MG-32 view 180° limited. WWII browning M2, complete 360° view
Okay, figured out my previous issue, but now when I switch to the Root Motion from Everything, it breaks my walking animations, so not sure what to do at this point :)
I can't seem to get the animation to play when I hit the E key. The capsule shrinks like it should, but it never goes into the animation or move through the passage. Help please :)
Theres something wrong with my Capsule Collision. I did it just like you told in the Video, but when I press G (yours R) the capsule becomes small but also gets back to its original size a second after. Any solutions? Might have missed something.

Sure, just make the trigger box BP to execute the event to start narrowing as soon as the character overlaps the box collision

When I get paid I will 100% join your patreon.

You are big!
What animations were you using?
I don't quite remember the name of the pack.
You can try to get them from Mixamo or download the project files from my Patreon(for educational purposes): www.patreon.com/posts/89692824

That would be great, but at the moment I only develop character locomotion mechanics!

I have some low quality ones I have created if you want them. Good for the testing stage.
I got this replicated. :-)
Nice one!
