    Good review mostly but wish you would stop comparing it to the Audi A3 we get the Audi is a better car but costs significantly more

    • @TotallyEV
      @TotallyEV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, but as mentioned, at the time of the review in the UK, the two vehicles were very similarly priced - see our written review for more information.

    Here in Ireland.. The A3 is nearly €50k!! The seat is just over €30k and has adaptive cruise which isn't stand on the audi..
    Great video dude.

      Yep, we are fucked in Ireland, haha. We have the Leon FR 2019 model and we are very happy with it. But, as it is the end of our PCP, we are going to switch it for this one, the cost of the petrol is really high right now.

    Some corrections I learnt from a recent drive in an 2021 Leon Hybrid xcellence:
    Power adjustable seat is available on higher trim levels, and the regen braking can be set to High, auto or low in the infotainment system.

      Things changed overtime. At the time of filming everything was correct.

    Did he review the Audi or seat actually says Audi more than seat so yes u get more for 50k than 30k well dun

    • @TotallyEV
      @TotallyEV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      At the time of the review, and within the UK, both cars were very closely priced (both sitting around £32k) - so yes, they were heavily compared, and indeed, the Audi came out on top.

    I’m very torn on the this car, how is the boot for a dog? A medium sized whippet looks a bit tight to me…

      Might be a little tight, but depend on if you were to lower the rear seats!

    Loving the driving experience with the Cupra Leon ST e-Hybrid since May. Any chance you might review one for your audience? It's basically the same car, but has an extra punch under it's bonnet. Greetings from Switzerland

    • @TotallyEV

      Glad you're liking the Cupra!
      It's unlikely we'll review that model, as you said, because it's very similar.
      However, the Cupra Formentor has been scheduled, and the fully electric Born is hopefully on the cards, too!

    good review and have placed an order, agree itsa shame about not having the parking camera the earlier version had it as standard and I'm having to get an after market instal on for that. Lack of physical controls is annoying but I'm hoping ill get to grips with the touch controls and that VAG will have upgraded the firmware to improve its response. Looks like I'll be driving it where you performed your test drives too :)

      @@niallwagner6283 unfortunately not because i had a problem with a really unprofessional dealer who cancelled my order even after i gave hi a solution to the issue which we had encountered. It was a really good car and wild have been perfect for my requirements however due to the bad experience with citygate seat Twickenham I ended up going back to Honda and have got a ZRV sport trim which has better equipment level and is good build plus its a fully hybrid with an unbelievably economical and efficient hybrid setup which gives 700miles on a full tank. I'm averaging close to 50mpg on urban driving with a lot of stop start driving.

    There is electric adjustable seat available for Seat Leon eHybrid. You need to buy the dinamica seats (alcantara) or full leather seats (both as options). Also I don't agree what you said on suspension. Seat has firmer suspension than A3. You can also buy DCC as option and have different suspension settings. Seat Leon's interior is bigger than A3 'cause the Leon uses longer wheelbase.

    I would suggest stopping comparing cars that are simple not the same, here in Portugal the Audi A3 is almost double the price of the Leon!

    • @TotallyEV

    Fake exhaust outlet without real use??
    ok i would fit a small 800w electric generator for the ev and route its exhaust out through that then...

    Just seen this excellent review.
    I personally get around 40miles on a charge across a town on urban streets, but this drops to 25miles on a dual carriageway or motorway.
    The thing I love about the Leon PHEV is that it is effectively two cars in one.
    It's an EV if you keep the battery topped up (90p for a full charge), yet will cover a long journey without the range/charger anxiety.
    Coupled with the storming performance and low price (£26K), it's an absolute steal.

    Great honest review.I have to say as much as I love EV's as I have been owner of few Leafs and now MG5. We have PHEV alongside MG because we have caravan. Mitsubishi Outlander did a great job and it's been used 90% as a EV. I'm looking for a replacement and seems like Leon tick most of the boxes and it's capable of towing up to 1300kg which some hybrid can't 🙂

    The title is wrong. The 2024 Seat Leon eHybrid will be different than the current on offer. Among other things it will offer a 20ish kwh battery and DC fast charging. There are also other improvement.

      In the UK both cars were the same price at the time of doing the review. Ultimately, the A3 comes with less as standard, but offers a heightened driving experience (in terms of handling, tech and looks)

    There is an option to get the "one pedal drive"

    • @nayachonhasler3372
      @nayachonhasler3372 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can adjust the recuperation level to the max in the infotainment under e-management. That will automatically slow down the car when you lift the pedal. Not to a complete hault, but down to 10kph. Works fine on my Cupra. But i rather let the car coast because the recharging effect isn't that strong in a hybrid as it is in a pure EV. I usually use it in a steep downhill road.
