I only discovered this channel a few weeks ago and I’m really enjoying it. There was a comment in a previous video about more modern cases being narrated but I like the old cases cos 9 times out of 10, I’ve never heard of them before and it keeps things interesting. Keep the stories coming👍 x
I agree. I find the older cases more fascinating than the newer ones. Like you said, it's likely because I've never heard of them, or have heard little. Even when I read fiction mysteries, I prefer the older ones - Agatha Christie, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - from before technology made things quicker and to some extent easier. Although I have to admit, I do like the way this technology is being used to solve cold cases.
I'm jealous of you. I found this channel a whole ago and absolutely LOVED binging on episodes. I was sad when I got all caught up and now have to wait for new ones. 😔

It definitely wasn't love. They can't fake it very long because they get bored and antagonistic. HG Tudor (narcsite.com) says that it's an infatuation because he was going to get his needs met, and he felt in control of her until she broke it off with him. Burning her house down is his wanting to have the final word, and how dare she challenge his control? Next he married his wife to get his needs met. Marriage to her was to maintain a facade of being a decent married man, and to have a constant supply of clean clothes to seduce women in . Who knows what emotional torments he put her through with his cheating? Outwardly he could fly under society's radar. His wife may have gone along with the pretense in public to avoid social shame, and private shaming. Powers was undoubtedly manipulating her too, emotionally blackmailing her in some way. Next was Astor, who he showed fake love to, only to seduce her. He would have seemed infatuated with her as he had control over her and her children. She was doing what he wanted. He was going to get his hands on her lovely, lovely money. He would have been all smiles and sparkling eyes. As soon as he had total control of her & her assets, she was in devaluation, and then effectively on death row. His rapid change from lover to cruel monster would have been like a sledgehammer blow to the senses. How he would have enjoyed her fear, her terror, her pleading, her tears, her sobs as she was forced to write letters. He would have enjoyed her begging him to let her children live and remain unharmed. He would have enjoyed the same emotional deluge from the children when the horror of their situation became clear. These are the things that give twisted people a high, a huge hit of dopamine to the pleasure centres of the brain. Predators feel bored quickly, and the adrenaline rush of the chase and conquest is what they live for. Meanwhile he was going home to his legal wife, having written a few more love letters to new prospective victims. He had next victim Dorothy arriving the day after he'd murdered the children and buried them with their mother. What a production line of bodies! He had his next victim packed and ready for her wedding day and honeymoon, scheduled for the day of his arrest.😳

The kind of Come-On Ads he wrote to attract his victims were called Honeypot Ads. When the economy was bad or there was a shortage of men because of a war going on, this kind of trolling elicited the maximum response. It was the easiest and quickest way to find vulnerable victims. Just makes me ill how this sadistic killer operated.
I was married and in an abusive relationship for 26 years. I met what I thought was a wonderful man from England on line. I left my husband and my English lover got married. What a monster . So horrible to hear of the way he killed those poor children too.
Very well done. The narrator has an excellent voice for these stories.
Thanks :)
Such a sad case
What a horrible man those poor victims may they rest in peace
From his picture I wouldn’t have taken a second look at him.
Background checks are necessary.
What a horrid snake 🐍
I live about a 1/4 mile from where this happened in Quiet Dell. On really quiet nights you can sometimes hear loud screaming.
Wow that’s interesting
The kind of Come-On Ads he wrote to attract his victims were called Honeypot Ads. When the economy was bad or there was a shortage of men because of a war going on, this kind of trolling elicited the maximum response. It was the easiest and quickest way to find vulnerable victims. Just makes me ill how this sadistic killer operated.
How interesting! Thank you
Sounds like this man had MAJOR abandonment issues
I was married and in an abusive relationship for 26 years. I met what I thought was a wonderful man from England on line. I left my husband and my English lover got married. Everything was great shortly. It was great when I visited England, but when he came to US, he was mean and stayed drunk. After 1 year, divorced. He hated when he was visiting me in US. Think he thought he was better than me. I feared him.
You poor thing! Thank goodness you left that ogre! Abusers always isolate their victims from family and friends and any support they may have. God Bless
💼case thanks for uploading
Truly horrible man! Thank you again BCase. Great work on the video.
Truly Heartbreaking story. Evil Predator is too good a title for him.
haven't even watched the vid yet, but that that face does not strike me as a lady killer...😂
This is highly disturbing.
