I honestly wish our legal system operated like it did then. A murderer admits their guilt, they're officially declared guilty, an execution date is set, and it's done. Much more efficient than dragging it out for years and in some cases justice never being served.
Inspite of the fact of his criminal career, you still can't help but feel some sympathy for him. And as for 2 of his victims, frankly I'm amazed that those who choose to make such a cruel living live as long as they do

This story would be fabulous as a movie! I am surprised that no one has written the screenplay yet. At least no one here in the US. Such a stylish, calc ulated, yet passionate criminal as main protagonist would be iconic in film
I love your content, so glad I found this channel! The first couple times you said “pawn shop” I thought you had said “porn shop”. I thought it was weird that a porn shop would be interested in buying a ring..
Such an unexpected story and the events were extremely strange and unexpected. It had everything money sex crime drugs you name it and it was in the story !
We don't often see stylish killers and criminals anymore. If they are women, curiously enough, they get better treatment while prisoners, lighter sentences, more media coverage and more sympathizers-fans. Now that many countries have eliminated the death penalty, that allows the number of sympathizers, fans and groupies of these killers, regardless of their sex, to increase.
I feel for the women who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time & suffered from their husbands misdoings but the pawn shop owners were shameless extortioners. I don't really feel sorry for them. P. S. did he die or didn't he?
@@BriefCaseOfficial Gotcha... Seems legit. Though I suppose it didn't really make a difference, as he got the death penalty, I am a little surprised he was only charged with 4 murders rather than 5.

This was a particularly fascinating story. Loved how it ended!
As many times as I've had to use a pawn broker, TG I didn't have to deal with these kinds of people. Funny Fact: my family is from Spain and the family name is Diaz. (Quite a common name there)
Lol so was it Jose' in the coffin or the gypsy?
What a cliffhanger!
Have a great Christmas holiday season.

Hello, Accent :) Thanks for listening
@@BriefCaseOfficial I'm Canadian with British heritage...1 Great grandparent came from London, 2 others from Ireland and another from Glasgow. So I didn't even pick up on the way you said cocaine...lol then again with the world becoming smaller and smaller and so multi cultural, you just become accustom to hearing different accents and unless the word is pronounced really wrong then it generally doesn't stand out for me. The only real quirk I have is when people mispronounce words...it sticks out like a sore thumb to me and 9 times out of 10 I have to make a comment about it...not being mean/hateful about it but trying to be helpful for future reference for them.
I really enjoy your work though, looking forward to seeing more.
Another excellent video. Thank you 👍👍👍👍👍
New to the channel but so intrigued! I'm listening to a bunch of your vids, I'm subscribed and have liked them all!
Thankyou so much
Wonderful I really enjoyed this story. You are an amazing narrator. You bring true crime a new voice. Thank u
You for your time and effort. 💙🤗
Thankyou
Absolutely riveting as always sir. Please keep up the hard work. 🖤💚🖤💚
the narrator gives excellent presentations,
he deserves a lot of credit for these brief
and informative cases
Thank you so much
I honestly wish our legal system operated like it did then. A murderer admits their guilt, they're officially declared guilty, an execution date is set, and it's done. Much more efficient than dragging it out for years and in some cases justice never being served.
Your vids truly do make my Mondays nights! Brilliant work as always! 😊
Thankyou
Inspite of the fact of his criminal career, you still can't help but feel some sympathy for him. And as for 2 of his victims, frankly I'm amazed that those who choose to make such a cruel living live as long as they do
They said it was a Gypsy in the coffin
He grabbed the driver made him open the coffin "Is this Jose,or not?"
He did dress well and was moved around like a celebrity on his way to the cemetery
Nice
20 minutes of choking, drooling, your throat feels like a 300 lb man is standing on it slow death.
Thank You
„Where the price for getting the item back was always higher“ - I think they call these places a „bank“ nowadays
Absolutely Brilliant work 💼Case🤗
Thanks Nancy
Love your story's well done
Thank you. Until next time.
Brief Case, you have done it now, I am binge watching your highly addictive channel, thank you another vice in my armour
Thankyou so much :)
@@BriefCaseOfficial you are welcome!
Thank you as always.
I am really grateful (though slightly ashamed, well, more embarrassed, by my facination with true crime) to see someone, and as an old(er) anglophillic yank(er), to listen to a well spoken Britter, narrate international cases, from 19th & 20th c. In the usa, it's always either American or Dominian, English speaker murder, and am really enjoying the international work. Hope against hope you do some Germainica!!!!!!!!! Or Balkan, Baltic, Slavic, Turkic, anything. On top of that, love the concise presentation, exactly what I prefer. In American true crime stories, it;s always TMI. Your channel alone justifies my 12.99 usd per month, on Utoober. Many thanks!!!!
What an intense thriller. Thank you so much.🦋🦋🦋🦋
Glad you enjoyed it
This case is horrific , but very interesting!! Thanks B C for another amazing case You The Best!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for listening
Excellent again BC. Well done Senor
Amazing content & narrator... TY...👻💀🎃💜🙋💜
Hello bitty bitty I hope you are good
Hi bitty bitty! here we are!👍😘 left note for you & Nancy, at NF & JN!
@@sheilaakhter2320 I'm good ❗❗& you ❓❓❓
Very well done Brief Case he and I have the same birthday. This was another very well done down to the letter on all the smallest details about the case that could be told. One thing about it my friend you sure do write and leave us all intrigued with your cases you are the base Brief Case.
Thanks Bill, I’ve just started writing next Monday’s case, it’s totally new to me and I’ve had to translate all the references first but it’s absolutely bizarre, Be good to know next Monday if you know about it - Thanks
Very well done. Thank you.
I did not understand the end . Was Jose executed or not ? Who was in the coffin finally ?
The story is basically saying buy the gun shot that is was not the man that needed to be in that box. It was a look a like and anyone saying it wasn't was dead man . See your corrupt people go all the way up to the top of the chain even in government. It's all on the old saying, how much money do you have ? Or what's in it for me.
Yes, he was. Didn't you hear BC say that Jose's suit was ruined by the execution?. It was just rumors that got started & the commissioner wanted to make sure he was dead
Truly enjoy your videos! Only, I wish you would give a short synopsis of each story in the description; it helps to give an overall perspective of the person's & details of case.
But, other than that, it was wonderful!! Thanks for all your hard work!!! God bless!! 😊
I thought it was weird that a porn shop would be interested in buying a ring..
lol!!
Cetching. I also heard porn. Got confused for a bit. Silly me.
I like your voice, why you may ask yourself, well, I love the down to earth way you have of relating a story.
Such an unexpected story and the events were extremely strange and unexpected. It had everything money sex crime drugs you name it and it was in the story !
For a career criminal and psychopathic killer, Jose was surprisingly patient with Emilio.
@TheDodicat He also had some remorse, at least for the women that he killed. Psychopaths' don't operate that way.
Love your creepy eerie sounding music in your videos.
Good job. Thanks for your efforts.
“And don’t do drugs. That’s it.”

Thank you X ♡♥ always interesting
You ended the story by letting us guess whether he faked his execution or not, very clever.
Thanks :)
Found your channel while on my 3rd Lazy Masquerade binge watch.
Subscribed! 34k 😊 good work on the videos
I feel for the women who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time & suffered from their husbands misdoings but the pawn shop owners were shameless extortioners. I don't really feel sorry for them. P. S. did he die or didn't he?
Hello, He was never seen again so I think it was him.
@@BriefCaseOfficial Gotcha... Seems legit. Though I suppose it didn't really make a difference, as he got the death penalty, I am a little surprised he was only charged with 4 murders rather than 5.
They wouldn’t have gotten killed if they’d stayed put.... the maid got nosy and so did the wife
Jose was one bad apple. 4 murders over a ring. Why not just shake them down and threaten them? They didn't have to die.
I just recently discovered your channel. I am totally hooked!!!! This was a good one. Curious, was it him in the coffin??
He was never seen again so I presume it was him
Oh yay BC! Thanks for the brief case!!

I love listening to you, thank you. I do wonder though if I were ever interrupted by commercials and if I did, did not noticed. Lol
No adverts on this one :)

Talk about going out with a bang!!! Is it him??? Is it an imposture???? Cliff hanger!! Thank You for sharing!! Nice job Sir!!!
Seems like the jury here is more in favor of Jose, and some against him. I
don't see how the jury got a guilty verdict. If there wasn't 2 innocent women
taken down with the pawnbrokers, he may have got off easy.
