I drive an 8th gen V6 accord making nearly 300 to the crank with a tune. It sounds beautiful and people love hearing it here. But take it abroad and it’s a typical grandma’s grocery getter. The limited car choices, 100% duty on parts to import, martian roads and laws, makes the 600 number a literal bragging right here and nothing more. You can’t even do a proper pull here with more power, unless it’s 2 am on empty highways. A new block for my V6 cost me a lakh when I was rebuilding, J35Z2. In the states, you pull an entire healthy 3.5 motor for about $300. The situation here is almost hilarious if you ask me.
the problem is the regulations and the customers themselves. Majority are just looking to buy unsafe cheap mileage cars instead of performance and safety and that is what the market provides.
GDP per capita of our country is very low, we are a poor country in general with the wealth being localised to the top 3-4% . Blame the government both this and the previous for their shitty policies. Also, the population is an issue but the corrupt government more.

Vrs octavia was never meant to push this much.. hybrid turbo and intercooler for odd sth 300hp is all you need. The mk3 chassis is not very good at handling..
I wish the host knew what the long names of the specs mean too. It's not the maximum a VRS can do. There's not a single standalone ECM car in India. People abroad must giggle at these videos you make

Moreover, standalones are for extremes projects like adding a turbo to a NA car or something like that. As long as your stock ECU can take all of this, why change it? Moreover, good tuners can extract the maximum out of stock ECUs just like this car. Why not Omkar, you save up money, build you "standalone ECU" car and see what it does😂. I'd be surprised if it even starts. And no, no foreign tuners will laugh at this, this is no easy feat. This is the problem with India, people talking out of their knees.

600bhp and only 10.9 down a 1/4mile seems like it should be around low 10 or high 9 seconds as racingline stage 3 tune at 480bhp can get you down in the low 10 seconds there must be a massive dip in the tune for it to only run 10.9 seconds just sound fishy to me.

Sadly our laws are not as lenient as those in Germany neither are our roads so cooperative. Wish we could see the VenomRS do a top speed run as well. I’m half sure it would do 300kmph.
It’s not about the money spent on the car. There’s also a personal choice and agenda behind a build. This build with a smaller turbo can do high 11s and the fact that someone even dared to achieve this feat with the limited support we have available in our country itself means we are heading in the right direction.

@@TheDriversHub the front wheels are never for handling forget the Hp figures. They have dual jobs to do maintaining traction and directional inputs + acceleration/ torque.
But this isn't a FWD car, it's a Haldex AWD car. It'll distribute the power properly, not disagreeing to you in terms that FWD takes a hit at high HP numbers but this particular car is AWD plus if you know setup and have the right equipment, FWD cars can handle too.
@@TheDriversHub an awd drive system is a front wheel biased system in the cheaper or low end cars only on the higher specs like super or hyper car it is a rear wheel biased system. Yea AWD drive compensates to some limit but still you can never have the exact control nor fun it will nose dive understeer and oversteer because of the suspension drive train and the chasis characteristics.
