Back in the day, before the internet, it took me awhile to understand that the musicians of CHIC were behind the songs of Sister Sledge, although I always had a hunch because their sound is just so similar. I think I'll give this one a try soon. Thanks for sharing. Your vids are always of great help to get into a song.

Loving your videos! Just curious, how do you do the running tab line?? I build a lot of cigar box guitars and would love to make some instructional videos with a similar system. If it's not too much trouble, I'd love to know.
create tabs with Guitar Pro after I play tabs file (.gpx) with Go PlayAlong and sync audio&Tabs and I capture them with Bandicam Filmora for editing video
Great tab, I'm a guitarist whose begun learning bass and your videos are brilliant. The tab is just two beats out, the drum fil at the very beginnings is a pick up on beat 3. The bass actually enters on beat one, just incase anyone is going along with the tab and feels uncomfortable with where beat one is.
So my roommate (also guitarist, I play bass) agrees with you but I hear it like the OP tbh. Those first 3 notes on C certify 1 to me but to each their own, can’t wait to show him your comment haha
Do u use flat or roundwounds? I love the sound and maby I want to get a p-bass to for a nice tone, but I was wonering wich strings u use.. Thanks for the tabs!
Wow that's interesting but everything about the rest of the song is screaming that's its displaced by 2 beats. Eg. The piano enters on "beat 3" which is possible but unlikely and the hamronic rhythm suggests that's irs 2 beats out which is why when the bar of 2/4 happens it puts everything back into alignment.
